First off all hi to everyone!
I couldn˙t find an anwser to this question... Does enabling DEVELOPER MENU (pressing build number few times) void warranty, or trip KNOX?
Thanks for anwsers.
BTW great forum
No, it will not. I have it enabled on mine and it did not trip knox.

Does anyone know if its possible to remove the knox bootloader from a phone that applied the update?
Why can't we just odin an older stock tar? Will that not work?
Sent from my SPH-L720 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
Not currently possible to rollback the bootloader, however there are a number of "un-knox'd" ROM's available.
You have some reading to do.

Would running an un knoxed rom trip the warranty fuse knox enables? Are there any aosp/cm un knoxed roms out that u know of?
Sent from my SPH-L720 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
All aosp/cm roms are unknoxed. That has nothing to do with the bootloader. Once an S4 has been upgraded to MJA or newer software you have the knox enabled bootloader and the only way not to trip the knox warranty flag is not to root it. This flag is pretty useless and means nothing to most users. It has no affect on your phone usage or modding ability. All it does is let Samsung know that you rooted the phone if you send it in to them for warranty work. They may or may not choose to work on your phone under warranty. It doesn't affect your ability to go to Sprint and have them fix your phone. It only matters if you are going to ship your phone to Samsung to fix. If you have insurance (TEP), best buy, square trade, or any other program than you are good, Just use your damn phone and enjoy it!
Oh good to hear thanks

I was just wondering has anybody tried useing factory mode with the usb plug/dongle that we used on the s2 to reset custom rom counter? or tried flashing in factory mode? will this reset knox or allow custom bootloader without tripping knox. I've not seen any mention of using said usb dongle or trying it.

AFAIK, all means have been tested including JIGS/Exploits via USB etc, the Note 3 doesn't carry a custom ROM counter it was replaced by KNOX which runs 0x0 for in place and 0x1 for tripped. Currently there is no known way except replacing your motherboard..
There is a JIG option on some random forum (link is around somewhere) which claims it can reset it, however this is untested as of now or at least what I am aware of.
*claims to be reseted on exynos devices only = useless

Well, I would not say 100% useless if that would be applicable with no cost to all N9000 international devices - the problem is that you still need a special JTAG gizmo and special software for it - which costs more than a new Note 3
How can I rest knox guys and binary pin plz

If you are on 4.4.2 MJ4 or newer you cannot root without KNOX beeing tripped. Period It will remain 0x1 wether you flash once or 50 times.
Well I'm on old kitkat version

Where i live the N comes after the M alfabeticaly so you will get flagged.
URDLV http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2498850 :
What devices are supported?
Just about every Samsung device with KNOX! (Excluding Exynos based devices)
Samsung has caught on and has started patching bootloaders, you can still root, but you will trip KNOX.
If you are running MJ4, MJ7, MK1, MK2 or higher you can still root, but you will trip KNOX!
Is there is any way to make my 3g dongol over otg work without rooting

But all in all, what you are asking is posted on xda and on the web a million times already.
I don't get it why do people even respond to such questions.
My advice, don't even try rooting and flashing.

Hi Guys,
I have a new Note 3 (SM-9005) and wanted a definitive answer about triggering KNOX 0x1.
Is it possible for me to root without triggering KNOX?
I am not bothered about Custom ROMS at the moment or Recoveries. Just want ROOT.
My FW\SW details are;
AP: N9005XXUFNF4
CP: N9005XXUFNF2
CSC: N9005OXAFNF4
Any help greatly appreciated.
www.Towelroot.com - but not sure if it works on NF4, worth a try tho, as it wont trip your Knox in either way

Tried it and not working i'm afraid. If I find anything useful i'll try and post.
Hi !
I wanted to try the method to keep root after the NF4/NG2 update, and I get the Mobile Odin app for that.
But, while I launched the app, a message surprised me : launching Mobile Odin on my Note 3 will void my warranty ?... For now, my knox counter is at 0x0.
Is this true or is this only a misunderstanding ?
Thanks for your feedback.

Like how the Samsung website claims the Note 3 only supports up to 64gb of external storage.
It's a precautionary method that developers use so that they don't get complaints if it doesn't work.
KNOX 0x0 with MOP was a miracle procedure discovered by normal users. But Chainfire can't warranty it because if it does trip KNOX, well...he already stated it.
i falshed both update zips and firmwares (tar.md5) back in my 0x0 times with MOP and kept 0x0.
Remember you can either use MOP or Safstrap or you will be in trouble (backscreen after boot) - if you don't know what safestrap is, ignor this ^^
Okay
So launching this app won't void my warranty if I well understand.
