He can just accept the OTA in settings/more software update or go to the link provided and flash the full nb1 through Odin.

Could you elaborate or post a link to a thread that describes how to either unroot or flash stock mk2 back?
I've heard that kies works for other carriers but AT&T hasn't sent any firmware to Samsung since MDL. I haven't found any mk2 files to flash via Odin to get back to stock either.
Mind explaining how please

[Q] Need some help fixing my phone

I have an AT&T i337 S4 running Android 4.3 MK2.
I was stupid and tried to flash a recovery that wasn't compatible, now my phone only boots into ODIN mode.
I've been looking for the MD5 files for 4.3 MK2 with no success.
Does any know what I need to do to fix my phone?
Go to best buy and have them reflash the firmware. If not there's a guide in the mj6-mj9 just search and read the forums.

I have to send my s4 back to at&t and need to downgrade it back to stock, i was reading all kinds of different ways, just wanted to make sure i have this right before i do it, odin the 4.2.2 stock firmware, and use triangle away to reset the flash counter? Is that correct, baseband is UCUFMLD and its MDF v1.0 Release 2
Try this method to downgrade and root.

Didn't mean to thank this he's not looking to downgrade and root, he wants to flash back to stock. Just use the same firmware package as whatever you were on.

In the same process of downgrading you can stay on stock MK2 OR NB1.

OP said he's planning to send it in though so it's best not to do any downgrade.

Safestrap question.

Hello I did a search and can't get a straight answer. I have the att gs4 4.2.2 rooted and I'm wondering what version of safestrap I need. I see mixed answers like 3.65, 3.71, 3.72 and I'm not quite sure which is it. Help will be much appreciated!

You need to search and read. It depends which version of 4.4.2 you're on http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=49562527

Check in settings/ more/ about device towards the end what build you have. If you are on 4.2.2 you dont need safestrap any recovery can do. If you are on 4.4.2 its a different story you have a whole different process before you get safestrap. Safestrap use is for locked bootloaders that came after builds NB1 and NC1.
Since you are already rooted there is no use for safestrap. If you are looking to flash custom roms check the ones are compatible with your present build.

See the second post in the link. You will need safestrap if you're on mf3. But you might want to consider updating your firmware to mk2 then see the first link I gave you. That way you'll be able to flash 4.4.2 roms

[Q]

hello,
I have a SGH-I337 with 4.4.2 NB1, I'm in Europe and I do not update to NC1, how can I do?
thank you very much
there a way to update it?
I do not need root just nc1 stock
Thanks to all
Use the following guide
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=
But remember to backup your data to computer you will lose it all. Since OTA update doesn't work for you Odin will erase all your data like factory reset.
