Help porting lockscreen mod to cm10?

so i have found a lock screen mod ported from the lg optimus 4x http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=24811293
and even though it includes instructions in the second post i find im having trouble understanding what i need to get this to work on our device and what programs i need to download.
i wouold really appreciate some help on this if possible.

[Q] S4 i9500 Google Play edition ROM

Good day guys, I really hope someone can help me!
I want to know if this S4 Google Play edition ROM that I got from this site will work on the S4 i9500.
What can happen if it doesn't work? Can I brick the device completely?

Yes, quite simply you shouldn't fllash anything that's not specifically made for i9500.

you say yes, but yes for what? Yes it will work or yes I will brick my phone?

Don't do it. Won't work.

Don't flash it, because it's from a diferent version of S4 ...

Can someone please give me a link of a standard JellyBean ROM that I can use on my i9500. I just want the Samsung stuff off! JB 4.3 would be great... else 4.2.2 is good?

Ok I am clueless here... Can someone please explain to me what I can and can not do with my S4 i9500? This might sound stupid, but I think I have the wrong idea about how this works.
I rooted the device and I have CWM installed.
I want something that looks like "stock" Android - Google Play edition etc and not the Samsung looking stuff. How do I do this? Or what am I missing?
Please explain if you don't mind!

Make sure you check the bugs before flashing though.

That is meant for the i9505 and you have an i9500. Just like how 2013 Honda Accord window panels won't work in a 2001 Honda Accord

How Can I Get Google Edition Rom On My S4 i9500? Plz Help Me ?

All i know the official S4 Google Play Edition's ROM is for S4 i9505, it means different chipset (it uses qualcomm) than S4 i9500 (exynos).
I had i9500 too and i wish i can change it to google play edition...

Hi, I just got my A5 yesterday and managed to root it. Now just want to ask if there is a list of apps that you guys recommend on removing/freezing. I'll try to debloat my A5 as much as possible since I don't want to flash for the mean time. Btw I'm still on 4.4.4. Hope you can help me fellow xda members. Thanks

As of now I am downloading the latest firmware of my phone 5.0.2 (SMG530 HXCU Grand Prime). Here's the thing, my phone is already rooted, i am afraid of updating it while it was rooted. Will my phone get bricked by doing this? Any tips to avoid bricking my phone? Also i've got this Titanium backup with my important apps back up'd, so now I need to restore it after the update. How?
Also mind if you can teach me how to do tricks with CM?
Please help. Thank you!

Your thread is being moved to Galaxy Grand Prime Q&A,Help and troubleshooting
You cannot flash OTA updates if you're rooted.But if you have the full firmware,you can always use Odin to flash it on to your device.
If you want to restore using Titanium Backup,you'll have to root the device after the update.
