Howdy all. Just updated to OTA KitKat on my Note 3 - and one thing I noticed is that the icons for new emails - the ones that show up in the status bar on the left - have changed.
Before, I would have different icons for yahoo, Hotmail & gmail.
Now - the yahoo ones are the same as Hotmail - some generic white envelope with an @ symbol on it.
I liked it the other way better...
Anyone have any ideas/thoughts about this? Is it just a KitKat issue? Is there a way to change it back to the other ones? What's the dealio?

Hello guys... i wouldnt say im a newbie, i just never post... I do have a simple
question that pertains to fixed notification icons.
Since im not a big fan of Tf3d (currently running diamond), but more partial to the standard windows today screen, is there any program where i can set up on the today screen custom icons for my notifications. Something similiar to
the fixed icons on the bottom of this screen:

I loved the other ones you just posted recently. They look great with the silver of the HTC contact set up. I will download these as well.
So, I installed them, and I'm having a problem.
As you can see, one icon was replaced, one was not.
On another Person's icon, the button for the work number changed. It seems it's only the compose text one that isn't working.
Any ideas? I'm using the December 31st version of the Energy ROM, 6.5, with Manilla 2.1 Sense.
I will see what I can find out.

I'd like to know if it's actually default google now behaviour or not. When ever weather cards / traffic updates show up, I only get to know about it if i pull down the notification panel. No icon (the car and the cloud) appears on the status bar. Is there any way to enable this? I notice it appearing only when I select it via the halo (Nexus 4 - ParanoidAndroid / CrDroid] Is it like this for everyone?

Go into facebook app settings and activate whatever you want to show up in the status bar, which will automatically relay to AOD

thanks but the likes aren't show as push notifications, so i need a app (native or not) notifier for what in display is shown
Hello. I just got my P 10 lite, and I noticed that the status/notification bar (that contains the clock, battery, signal icons etc) is changing color matching the color of the application that I'm into. This, in itself, it doesn't bother me that much, but when I open Google Maps it becomes transparent and I can barely read the clock and the other icons, and this is very annoying. Is there a way to make the status bar stay black or some other color? Thank you!

I would suggest to pull down the notification center, I know, it's annoying, but I think there is no solution for this.
