Hi @MidoTayel i have also bought a Lenovo a3500-HV less than a week ago i know of two goo tools that can help you root they are:-
Farmaroot- http://forum.xda-developers.com/apps/framaroot/root-framaroot-one-click-apk-to-root-t2130276
ROOT Genius- http://www.shuame.com/en/root/
But i would recommend that you WAIT A FEW DAYS as you know that after rooting the system can get corrupted (Based upon the app you install) thus you would send it to the service center and they would charge a lot of money(root void your warrenty). Apparently i am researching how to create and flash scattle files (Backup images of all system files,recovery.img,boot.img........) in Lenovo a3500-HV(Companies use this method to install android after the tablet is made).
Also i am researching how to create a clockworkmod recovery which will help in flashing updates and flash.zip modification and will also create nandroid backup of your entire system
If you can wait a few more days (5-6) days i will email you a set of tutorials from backuping imei numbers to creating scatter files(Right now i am sorting the best tutorial and good information from the junk in the different forums and blogs). With this information you do not need to go to the service center for any software issue anymore all you would need is an computer and a OTG cable (the cable used to connect phone to computer) and if you install custom recovery you would not need that also (Saved over Rs6000 in my previous tablet software problems)
I am also planning to make a thread upon the LENOVO a3500-HV
Also i have a few QUESTION i want to know if you are facing these problems as i want to know if it is only in my tablet or the entire firmware
-Does the tablet restart between every 4-5-6 hours
-The GPS does not work Test using GPS TEST app ( https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.chartcross.gpstest&hl=en ) Already found some fixes but it needs root
-Can you boot into recovery mode or does it get stuck in the boot logo
-Can you install CPU-Z ( https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.cpuid.cpu_z&hl=en ) and check if the hardware is the mt6582 model (Picture given below)
LAST of all can you give me your email id as yau are the only other Lenovo A3500-HV (Model is new) member i could find and i will first email all the tutorials i.e. doc, vedios, pdf to you and help you through email and chat
And if you only want to root and don't care it goes to the service center please atleast tell me if the root is working or not THANL YOU

GREAT !!
I finally found other guys having Lenovo A3500-HV
@MidoTayel
I guess you can use vRoot to root this model of lenovo (A3500).
But as @anandisrocking007 mentioned, I also recommend that you wait. Because the root may be dangerous without CWM recovery to make backup image of your system.
@anandisrocking007
I am happpy with your researching and waiting you…
I have some answers of your questions:
1- My tablet doesn't restart automatically ever from I bought it.
2- You can boot into recovery mode by holding the three buttons together (Vol. up + Vol. down + Power) after shutting down the device.
Other problems I will check them later.
Thanks.

Hi @divergent and @ibraheem_alex can you type the following USSD codes in your device
Dial *#*#7378423#*#* . Then go to -> "Service Info" -> "Configuration". If there is:
Bootloader unlock allowed - Yes << this means that your Bootloader is Locked
Bootloader Unlocked - Yes << this means that your bootloader is unlocked
Please give me a feedback... i can make the tutorials and instructions but i also need you the give feedback and help it can incrase my work speed i shall try to publish everything by this wednesday-thusday......

Hi @ibraheem_alex so the USSD anomaly is not only for my phone its ok not to worry i am 95% sure that lenovo does not have locked bootloader also did you check the GPS is it working also use CPU-Z to check the chipset model mine is MT6582 when everything is over i would be uploading the scatterfile backup for everyone to use i just want to know if more than one type of model is released as different countries have different chipset but the same model (Pss..It won't have an impact on the tutorials that i shall post as you shall make a backup of your own phone :highfive
Tutorial Update- i have managed to download some vedios from sites and found a lot of tutorials that i have saved in .docx format just 1-2 more sites are left i shall then sort out the best one and if require will merge some to make a better one all and all i shall post it within a few days the tablet is an huge investment i think its fine to be a little patient....... (Pss...i shall be uploading it in google drive and will publish the link...:good

Hi @MidoTayel let me put this in simple words take windows for example where there is a guest account and there is a admin account in guest you can use the software but can not write anything in the C Drive(Also can't install software which are stored in C Drive) in that way Windows's C Drive=System Partition on android so when you get a phone its always in guest mode when you root it it gives you admin access. Some apps require to write or change file for it to work eg ROMtoolbox , Xposed module etc when you are not rooted the apps save all files into the data partition and if any problem occurs you can do a factory reset (i.e deleting the data partition) and it will be the same but if you are rooted and have some problem in the system partition even factory reset won't it goes to the service centre and they charge. Scatter file backup and nandroid backup are ways to backup an entire android OS ie system, data partition along with others its like you are creating an entire android installation setup and when your phone is bricked you can reinstall it. Overall i can tell you that the privilages of root outweigh the risk a lot what every you do try to research a little (I took 2 months to root my last tablet) and always make a scatter file and/or nandroid backup as soon as you root (First backup then check the cool device i.e ASAP) you root to be 100% safe
I am making tutorial to hep you root or create a backup....
Hope this helps i was confused for weeks thinking what is root when i started android..hope you don't face the same problem
PRESS THANKS IF IT HELPS.....:victory:
My chipset model is MT6582 .. It is same as your chipset.
I couldn't determine if my GPS working or not...
I used the GPS Test as you mention but also I can't know if it working correctly or not .. May I will make another test while moving in car.
But I captured this photo from the app .. May it help you.
See the photo in attachments.
Hi, I have a model A3500-FL (without back camera).
GPS works, locks in about a minute out in the open. Tablet lacks AGPS (no data connection). It's MT6582 which can use Mediatek's proprietary EPO to speed up positioning, but due to no root I cannot verfy if it is working or not.
Anyone tried backing up A3500 via SPFlash or MTKdroid tools or rooting?
Hey i wanna install the kali linux on my tab so if there is other way to do it without root it pls tell me
Hi
Me to .. I need to run Linux Ubuntu on my tablet.
But I think NO way to run linux without rooting your tablet.
This is how I rooted my A3500-FL under Xubuntu 14.04 (i have win 7 in VM):
1. install Virtualbox, not the OSE edition - get the full version from Oracle website and also the extesion pack (it enables direct access to USB devices)
2. Install windows (XP or 7, don't know about later versions)
3. Grab a copy of RootGenius from here
4. Enable usb debugging on tablet Connect your tablet via usb, make sure it is recognized by ubuntu, there is no need to mount it
lsusb for my device:
Code:
Bus 002 Device 004: ID 17ef:7738 Lenovo
5. Start your windows installation and mount the USB in virtualbox (there is a button for that at the bottom of a windows running your VM), make sure windows sees your device, it will probably fail to install the drivers
6. Start RootGenius, it should download and install drivers for this phone. Tutorial including usb debugging here. Click root a wait for a minute. Done
If yu are running windows skip steps 1-2.
Optional: make full system backup here
I did a backup before rooting. MTK tools somehow sneaked su binary past the android defences and got shell root after backing up.

How did you upgrade? OTA updater shows me only some minor version upgrade.
Hello everyone on the XDA community.
This is my first post here ..!
To begin excuse my very bad English, I used a translator to do this. Second, moderators apologies if it is not the right place, I ask a little patience and if you need to edit or move the topic, are in every right to do so.
Thanks in advance.
WARNING: This method has been tested by me, but do not hold me responsible for lost data on their devices or if they suffer irreparable damage. The method should be used with caution, following the steps explained below and must possess knowledge of the use of the tools used. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK.
Tools to be used:
BLU Phone Drivers
Universal ADB Drivers
SP Flash Tools v5.1436.00.000
Studio C D536U V08 5.0 Generic Stock Rom
Kingo Root
Easy Magic TWRP Installer for MediaTek
The first step and most important is: BACKUP, support all device data if possible make a backup of the complete ROM Stock, since in case of a "sudden death" can use this to revive the device. In the XDA Developers forums are methods to do this kind of support.
Steps that I have followed for an update ROM Stock, rooting and subsequent installation of custom recovery:
If you have any drivers installed for your BLU device uninstall them before seeing step 2.
Install the device driver for BLU
ADB drivers installed Universal
Enable USB debugging on development options
Download and install the ROM Stock mentioned above using the following::
Open SP Flash Tool.
Click scatter-loading then select the scatter file inside the ROM you downloaded (must be unzipped of course).
Change "Download" to "Firmware upgrade" (under scatter-loading file).
Click in "Download" button.
Take battery out of your phone and insert it again. make sure your phone does not turn on (If phone has an internal battery then just make sure the phone is off).
Plug in your phone to your PC.
The green check mark means you're good to go.
After installing the new ROM Stock, or if you were already using that version of the ROM Stock must install the Kingo Root, then connect your device and the program will recognize it immediately. The whole process is very simple and takes very little time, stay tuned to the screen of your device for confirmations.
Already having installed and running ROM Stock and rooting and undamaged device, run the program TWRP Setup, this will create the MTK-TWRP folder on your desktop, in it we find the TWRP.exe program which execute and follow the steps described in THIS POST.
And with that we have our rooting device with a new version of ROM Stock and custom recovery.
FINAL NOTE: In my case after installing the new version of ROM Stock did a search for update from the device, and found a new version: BLU_D536U_V10_GENERIC. The downloaded and installed before proceeding with the routing and the installation of custom recovery.
I hope you can use this guide and is very useful for everyone.
Best regards.

Hi.
The following directory on the website of Mega contains all the Stock ROM for BLU devices, look inside the folder named "STUDIO SERIES" the "STUDIO 5 C - D536" folder, there you can download the ROM Stock V8 Generic.
https://mega.co.nz/#F!TplRURRI!LyAuAlNIBND_AOgu3bx6tQ
BLU Phone Drivers [link broken]
SP Flash Tools v5.1436.00.000 [link broken]
I have a bricked BLU Studio 5.0 C D536L. Can I flash this rom and files?
I don't know if D536U and D536L are the same devices (maybe L and U only a local id).
I just got this phone from Walmart, even though I didn't use your method to root, as my rom is newer than the rom you provide, mine rom is BLU_D536U_V11_GENERIC seemed pointless to downgrade, I did download your Studio C D536U V08 5.0 Generic Stock Rom as it contained a file I needed to manually root my device.
I use Linux not windows, so the splash tool doesn't help, none the less I was able to root without any problems, using the one file from Studio C D536U V08 5.0 Generic Stock Rom.
Thanks
Vampirefo
Need a pointer or two.

Hello. I have the same phone and conundrum. Sure would appreciate any pointers you could throw my way about successfully rooting this critter. It's a BLU Studio 5.0 Ce D536 Unlocked Dual SIM 5.0 Phone Android KitKat CellPhone.
There was a sale on ebay selling this new for 68.00 so I bit the bullet and bought it. Sure would appreciate it. I use both Linux and windows so I can relate. Any pointers would be great,Thanks!

Brick/Loop in Recovery.
Hey alakentu, thanks for this great thread. I have a problem at the moment: My, Studio BLU Studio 5.0 C (D536U), boots into the recovery and that is all. If I select Factory Mode it gets stuck on the BLU boot animation. I need to flash a new ROM through the original recovery and I need help with this. Can somebody help me ?
I'll give it a try
I have a 5.0C that has one SIM disabled. The SIM was filled with a platic blank that was glued down. I plan on backing up the custom Digicel ROM (D526 I think) and try to load the D536U stock ROM. I assume that if the hardware isn't customized, the stock ROM will have the code that enables and controls the two SIMS. :fingers-crossed:
I rooted and updated my previously locked phone to the V11 generic ROM. The generic ROM:
1. enabled the SIM that was blocked from the OEM.
2. unlocked both SIM slots.
The upgrade was well worth the trouble that I had with properly loading the USB drivers on my Windows 8 PC.
Same exact quandary here as @blackvitriol. My d536u (Studio 5.0 C) sticks at the Blu splash screen. Is there an RUU mode of sorts with this device? If so, how do I access it without being able to fully boot this device?

SOLVED!! (Not that this is an active thread or anything)
So, in ALL of my research I didn't find one single instruction to fix the bootloop, corrupted ROM issue I had. Many claimed to be able to fix this issue, but all fell short because of ONE SINGLE error in the command line. I know, that's all it takes, BUT it may be difficult to figure out (as it was for me). This is all assuming you have your drivers installed and at the very least Minimal ADB/Fastboot functioning.
1. download the factory image (zip, rar, whatever) and UNPACK it somewhere you can easily find in Windows.
2. place the boot.img and system.img files in the same folder as adb.exe and fastboot.exe
3. put your device in Fastboot by doing the following:
a. press and hold Vol Up AND Power until you see the LCD flicker dark (you'll know it when it happens about 3 seconds into holding. Nothing else will happen yet. Nothing will appear on your LCD.)
b. press Vol Up twice and then Vol Down
*you should see three lines pop up in white text on your screen and it should show Fastboot beneath that. If not, pop that battery out and start over. It may take practice to get it right.
4. open a command window in your adb/fastboot folder.
5. Type the following:
fastboot devices
(your device should show up after you hit enter)<---don't type this
fastboot flash boot boot.img
(you should get some action on your device showing it flashed OK as well as in your command window)<---or this
fastboot flash /system system.img
(you should see it working on your device's LCD counting up from 0% to 100%)<---or this
fastboot reboot
(now wait and watch your device come back to life)<---or this
So what's different here from the other instructions out there? You're flashing the system partition by typing "/system system.img" instead of "system system.img"
Any questions, feel free to ask. Have a good one and good luck.
If I've helped you in any way and you want to help support my kids' college fund, please consider buying me a cup of coffee.

Hi everyone ... this is my first post here so I hope I'm not doing anything wrong.
I'd like to root my ZTE Blade A430 with build number TIM_IT_QB18S_P632A10V1.0.1.
I've seen How to root your ZTE Android device but it looks pretty old, not sure if I can use that on new devices running android 4.4 ?
Also could not find ClockworkMod for my specific device not sure what I should use on my device ?
I'd be happy with TWRP for my device too as long as it works fine on my device.
I was wondering: If I'm willing to sacrifice anything that I've installed on my phone can I just update using the superuser.zip update package with the stock recovery system ? or wil it fail sig check or even damage the system ?
If something goes wrong can I still use the stock recovery system to reset to factory ? will it read data from an internal partition or does it
require the stock update.zit with the original firmware in the SD ?

I realise I'm far too late with this answer, but maybe someone else will be searching for the same thing.
I used Kingo Root, on my ZTE Blade A430. Apart from notifications about it being dangerous, advising me to uninstall it, it's been fine for some months, now.
FWIW, mine came with KitKat 4.4.4 installed.
I was trying to flash my ZTE Blade B112 with SP Flash tool and I decided to use an A110 rom, since they are identical in specifications but not model number (oops). Well that didn't go well, now I get the DRAM_FAIL error (4032). Wondering if anyone at all managed to save a backup of the stock rom this phone came with?.
Phone is detected in SP Flash Tool, red LED is on when plugged in and it connects and disconnects constantly.
Can't find it anywhere, and if that's the case, then I need to consider this phone dead and move on.
ZTE B112 (Boost Zume 5) Stock ROM
I have an almost-new B112 BZ5 that I want to root, so perhaps we could help each other.
I'm an Android noob, so please forgive dumb questions & assumptions - and enlighten me.
AFAIK, a phone has to be rooted before one can copy the ROM.
I can't find a recovery for the B112, so I think a one-click root app is the only way to go.
I tried iRoot but it failed.
I installed and ran the OneClickRoot APK. It scanned the phone, and said that it could root the phone, but it would cost me $30 (US I assume), which is more than the phone cost brand-new. The developers' website looks very professional, with promises of support incl online chat, so maybe that's the best way to go.
Recently I used KingRoot on a Moto E v1 Condor. It worked but installed some crap apps, and the phone seemed unstable, so I uninstalled it, then used ADB to flash CWM and install SuperSu.zip from the SD card. But I don't think I can do that with the B112 as I can't find a matching recovery for it. Is Kingroot OK on the B112?
So how did you root your B112?
If I can root mine, I could copy off the stock ROM for you. (Please tell me the steps ... Nandroid backup?? ... and the best way of getting it to you.)
[Edit: I have a ZTE A110 (Optus Zip) as well , and I'd like to root that too. Will the same method that roots a B112 work for A110 as well?]
Hi xda, I own a ZTE Blade V8 lite. I've searched all over the internet and xda for support for twrp on this specific device but found no help. I've achieved temporary root using magisk with the help of a discord user from the official XDA server. what bothers me is the bootloading mode of this phone. whenever i try to go into the bootloader, it displays a message saying meta mode, which doesn't seem related to the bootloader. even further, in ADB, when I type fastboot, (now before saying anything, I installed the correct drivers.) the command displays nothing. I tried countless methods of fixing this issue but no luck. I've tried once again to flash using Termux with temp-root but with no result. Can anybody help me? I have no money to switch to some other phone, and I'm skeptical about making that choice either.

Hi,
How do you root temporarily the device? I want the root in order to move an app to system, after that root is not needed anymore.
Thanks in advance,
