When trying to download an OTA for my LG-D800, I flashed TWRP but then flashed Stock Recovery, but when I tried to update it, it powered down then stayed on the LG boot up screen, and stays there, there is no white text in the corner, no download mode, and of course no recovery. Also now my laptop can't see my phone. Please help me. Thank you!

Do you tried different Usb Ports ?
If you have the Chance you should try it on a other Pc

Its a Tricky Process and took me also a while but hey its worth it right

I could never get my cpu to recognize my phone while in recovery.
I used two different computers and couldn't get anything.
When the ROM is working.. I can.
Are you positive you can't get it into download mode?
Try this.
Power off phone completely.
Attach usb cord WHILE holding the VOL up button.
See if that gets it into download mode.
If you can... then you can do the KDZ or TOT "unbrick back to stock" method.
I tried both of those.. but none worked for me.
This one worked for me though:

When it's in the download mode it may show up in a different location in the device manager and be listed only as "android".
Do you hear any sound from the computer when you plug it in when in download mode?
What does your download screen look like?
Once these questions are answered, there may be a solution. Hopefully a CDMA device won't be different

there are two possibilities.. First, your phone is already hard bricked.. second is, your battery is absolutely dead with no power left...
Well, Have you tried to check the battery itself?

(last option if nothing else to try) if you want to check the battery :
DIY remove the case ( there are several tutorials in youtube, but of course, do it with your own risk)

It's not hard bricked/
Getting into download mode proves this.
You must get your computer to recognize your device in order to communicate with it. So I would not consider anything else until that is accomplished. PERIOD!
1. Are you using a USB 2.0 port? usb 3.0 will not work a lot of the time. (Important)
2. Have you tried another usb cable?
3. I think we discussed the drivers, I have them if needed
What operating system are you using?
If nothing here helps we can we can use "TeamViewer 9" which will give me control of your computer to help resolve this issue...

Hi,
Im looking for a little help. I installed a recent update (today) from Samsung. My battery seems to run hot and I started the phone up entered my password and the phone reboots after about 5 seconds, every time. I don't even get enough time to do a reset and wipe.
Now, 've gone into recovery mode, it says Installing System Update then comes up No command. I've wiped cache partition and wiped data/factory reset. When the phone boots up it goes as if re-installing everything then reboots again.
I want to put a custom ROM in but need the damn phone working first
What can I do?
Put phone into download mode (volume down/home/power whilst turning on) and flash TWRP recovery using odin. From there you can flash custom ROM.

Thanks, I will check the link you gave.
I have uploaded what is happening to the device so you can see https://youtu.be/3olI3s1M5rQ
So, I tried the link you put up, still nothing, the device is a no show in Odin
Also, link to device and no USB connection https://youtu.be/zKe1gSiaYYM
I brought mine into the local Samsung service centre and they replaced the mainboard under warranty.
Seems I've hit the jackpot, my phone's a potato. I had just installed king of nougat v9 and it worked fine until I rebooted into recovery by holding the power button and selecting recovery. At first it was in a boot loop and wouldn't open recovery or get recognized by odin, I read somewhere here to disconnect the battery so I opened the back cover and disconnected it which apparently ****ed the phone a step further now it's dead unless it's connected to a power source and after disconnecting it stays on samsung logo/download mode for a bit then dies.
On my old rom it was working fine except for the fact that I couldn't connect the phone to pc as storage, and it couldn't recognize usb devices I plugged in using the adapter. I took the phone to a repair shop and they said they replaced the micro usb assembly and it still didn't show up on odin, then a few days later they said it's a problem with the power IC and they replaced that then the guy said it worked once on odin then stopped again.
Idk what to do lol, phone's bricked or should I try a different repair shop incase these were idiots.
note: it says device descriptor request failed when connected to pc

"device descriptor request failed when connected to pc" sounds like a windows problem not android. You can check in the "computer management" device manager to see if the phone is recognized. I am going to assume not.
Try this link for possible solutions. https://www.drivereasy.com/knowledg...ice-descriptor-request-failed-for-windows-10/

Hey, do you figured it out what problem it is? I've the same problem and tried all of the PC/Windows tips and tricks.
Hey there guys, so as the title suggests, i'm having a bootloop problem on my m30s sm-307f, i can't access recovery mode, and i'm unable to start the flashing process because i can't even install the usb driver, i've tried several drivers, using several cables, on several systems (windows 7 / windows 10 / windows 11), and i always get that infamous yellow triangle on the SAMSUNG Mobile USB CDC Composite Device in the Universal Serial Bus Controllers section in the device manager, the phone was operating normally one day, and the next day when i try to power it on, i get this, i'm absolutely certain that i did nothing to the phone, not even an update, and it most definitely didn't fall to the ground, please respond, i have really important data there, and it would devastating to lose it, and thanks a lot.

If this solution is not working for you, try searching the web. I found more than one potential solution. Good luck.
