I keep getting a pop-up that says "BLE pushing service binded : scanning start" any ideas what it is. It seems to happen mostly when opening the messages app.

Anyone?

No one else has this problem which implies either you have installed or disabled something to cause this. That or the device is broken.

I've got it now...find a solution?

cannot execute tmail.exe

Hey guys,
My Touch keeps giving me this error message. It pops up and won't go away for a long time. I know tmail.exe is the messaging app, but does anybody know what could be causing this? Anybody else had this issue?

I see that error message from time to time, along with the more frequent "cannot execute clocknot.exe, calnot.exe and repllog.exe". It appears that these are old, old WM issues that nobody has a solution to... it is apparently part of the general flakeyness of WM -- stuff that is swept under the rug in WM-world...", accepted as a matter of course, along with WM's lags and resets...
For me, these errors happen the most when the device is waking up from standby, so I assume it is some kind of race condition in WM...
Wow I can't belive I'm also getting this **** on my touch Diamond

Same here. Tried 2 "solutions" I found that DID NOT WORK !
1) changing the time zone; start-settings-personal-phone-timezones=> uncheck
2) remove SPB Time
I repeat, neither works.
Do you have the "When available, use this store card to store attachments" checked under the storage tab? DON'T CHECK IT!
^^^
Ditto, don't store any emails on the memory chit. For some reason, the database that supports the filing of the emails get corrupted.

Yes. I did have it checked. Not anymore. Going to test it for a while now without it checked. Thanks Nuttsac & da.bell
Observation: While I thought the pop-ups were random, I discovered that they were in fact only happening while ActiveSync was running! And for some strange reason, when I start getting the errors, I'd check and find that AS was running even though I had not started it nor was I connected to my PC. Some program/task was starting it. Once I kill AS, the pop-ups stopped.

[Q] Facebook prevention information message

I updated my Facebook app last night, and since then it's been coming up with this message every time I log in. Can anyone tell me how I can resolve this? I've tried uninstalling and installing again but it makes no difference.

Well this is the buggy Knox update. Samsung already heard about it and they said they should provide a fix by the end of this week (lol).

I read somewhere else that you should press the update, which I did of course yet it keeps saying network error or something along those lines

With the update 4.3 this should be fixed.
It looked like Samsung accidentally pushed out the Knox binaries without the management app and the update server being online.
Anyway, if the message keeps coming back, I recommend to disable the Knox service entirely. I did it with Titanium Backup, just freeze any app containing the word "Knox".

Strange popup

Hi guys
I was on Reddit News app yesterday and just about to click on one of the articles when this popup appeared. Well it seems to have got my phone correct even though it is a poor judge of the battery.
I didn't click on the OK button but just pressed the back key. I've run several apps to detect any malware and my phone seems to be clean.
Any idea what this is?
Oh and i've checked out that odd looking website and it says "Forbidden" but it does exist because after doing some tests it seems to be located in Lansing(Michigan) in America.
If it isn't virus, it's malware for sure
Which apps you ran to detect the malware? I want to know so I don't have to install them.
It looks like a malware, but server seems to be misconfigured. I can't get past the error page.

You mean the error page for the website which shows this?:
Forbidden
You don't have permission to access / on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

I should also add that there's no mention of it in google, which seems odd.

I used Lookout and Zoner, and also avg now. None of them picked up anything.
The website com-2.me has the IP 209.59.143.234 and is associated with 2 other websites, both of which have been labelled as suspicious on Net Valuator so that doesn't seem good

Hi everyone,
I have notices in the last few days maybe that I sometimes "randomly" just get a popup message which says "Android-1.com" stays for 1 second and dissapears. Does anybody knows what does it mean and what causes it?

Thank you, It does not bother me anymore because I have seen that it does not cause any issues. And now I am closing the app directly from the app manager (force close) in order to prevent the message from appearing.
Oh that sounds like malware, you've installed something which doe this.
The domain in question hides behind privacyprotect.org and its usually spammers, scammers, malware etc people that do that

Anybody faced screen burning issue?

Hi, after using the messenger app for a while, if the screen go through any dark or gray-ish background than I see the upper messenger voice call/video call icons in the background clearly. Is there any fix for this issue?
Faced the same issue. It's HW related.
Is this related to software or anything? Please, I'm having this issue atm. Though it appears and disappears, I'm afraid it's still not normal. It's been only 4 months since I got this phone.

I can't say if is it hardware or software related issue. But I searched in the internet for a while and found this app (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.blueburn.StuckPixelTool ) and after giving it a bit of try the problem is kind of fixed for a while I must say. But I can't guarantee that it will be fixed forever. But at least I'm happy that it kind of works.

Sorry for that, I've edited that and now it's fine.
Thanks for editing the link. So how to use it? After the screen burning happens or do we have to run it all the time?

Just press fix option in the app and the app will display some random pixelized image and statical R G B image for kinda unlimited time (meaning till you close that app) and thus the stuck pixel / burned screen will get disappeared for "a while". I don't think there's a permanent fix for this issue.
