they are already all the way to the right.
The only way to fix it is reboot. Then randomly does it again in a few hrs to a few days.
sliders all the way right still.
even set them to the left then exited and set them to right again
I dont know really

Anyone out there having as issue where the sound from the keyboard clicks, unlock and lock sounds, and the dial pad phone calls went almost un-hearable??
I have no current mods to my phone just picked it up started typing and noticed i could no longer hear my keyboard clicks and went on to discover that many of system sounds were quieter.
The rings and other notifications work just fine though very odd this is not the first time this has happened to me with other android devices but typically either a battery pull or a quick reset resolves the issue but not this case.
Anyone with similar issues with a quick fix aside from restore??
I have noticed that when the battery get low sounds and vibration setting get shut off.
Please post questions in Q&A section.

Yep.. You can edit all that in the Power Saver Options. It also will shut down WiFi. Very Annoying.
well i thought that also but my battery was fully charged.
I noticed when I clicked things the clicking sound was randomly extremely low. I went to the sound settings and just played with em for a min and it went back to normal :/
sadly i tried all that stuff and i am getting extremely frustrated

Mine turns off just fine but I've seen that issue on other phones, don't know how to fix it though.
Theres a power saving mode your phone gets into when it reaches 15% or lower. This setting quiets your phone, takes off vibrations, and more thing just to save batt. life, u can change this is settings

is there a way to disable the side sound buttons? because it gets so easy to just press them inside your pocket and miss calls and texts. or when in class to accidentaly switch to ring mode. can be very annoying
Huh dont u lock ur phone when u put it in ut pocket? if u have it locked u cant change the volume

So why wouldn't you check the volume before going into class? If you have it on vibrate, you'll see the vibrate mode icon in the notification bar...if it's not there, the volume is up. Also, if you depending upon what ROM you're running and what security lock you have enabled, you can slide the right bar over to put it in silent/vibrate only mode
because im a very lazy person and was just lookin for an easy way to solve my problem. doesnt seem like it so thanks anyways
if ur running cyanogen u can set quiet hours if u want

Like you see in my screenshots attached, the volume bar will not dissapear after I changed the volume, I need to tap somewhere on the screen and just after this the bar dissapears.
If I watch a YT Video and just want to change the volume I need to tap on the screen afterwards. It is just in my case or a Moto X Style (Pure) problem?
I asked some guys who run stock 6.0 on a Nexus device and they so not see this behaviour, thier volume bar dissapears on its own after the change is made.
It works fine for me, slider disappears really quick.
Upgraded to 6.0 yesterday.

Yep, same version here, strange that it works in some cases and in others it just don't work..
maybe I should do a factory reset
Same here (Moto x pure).
I also thought that this is MM feature

TruPureX 2.2 with Xposed , GravityBox and some more
Mine goes away but it takes forever, like 30 seconds. Figured it was a feature too since previous versions it was actually too quick.
Tried disabling xposed modules?
Sent from my Moto XPE
So I disabled gravitybox, restarted the phone and the volume bar was still there for over 10 sec.
So it's not GB that causing the issue.
Just checked,
It does disappear after 20 seconds

Sometimes it doesn't disappear itself. It disappears touching somewhere on the screen. I am okay to live with it. However it is not happening very often. It doesn't stay on the screen persistently.
I did a factory reset now, and it is stil the same way, I have a stock MXS.
I do not think it is a feature because on Nexus Phones it just works fine, and who the hell needs this bar longer then 2-3 sec, or is somebody changing volume this way?
€: since when do a wipe data delete the internal storage? -.-

IF YOU TOUCH THE SCREEN yes, so otherwise it is there for a way to long time.
This seems to be a bug because I have never seen any other phone behave like this and even on stock Marshmallow it doesn't work this way.
The volume panel time out is set to 30 seconds if you have moto voice enable in Accessibility Settings.

You are right!
But what does it do? I deactivated it and I'm still able to use my wake up phrase and do all the stuff
Alright,
For the people who use the gravitybox.
Go to accessibility, disable moto voice.
Go to gravitybox, media tweaks, volume panel timeout and set your time.
It works for me, I hope it works for you guys as well.
Hi, does anyone know why this would happen? today morning when my G6 alarm rang, I just pressed some random buttons to mute it. Since then the phone is going into Auto Mute. I can turn up the volume but when I turn off the display and turn it back on, it mutes. I don't want to reset the phone

How you know that it's in mute? There is some sort of symbol in the status bar? Can you post a screen of it?

Yes, you can see in this screen shot. I even tried turning up the ringer volume to full and then turn off and on the screen and then I see the ringer is muted again View attachment 4140577

Tried also to enable and disable the not disturb option? The reset may be the only solution, it takes time but you can save almost everything with lgbackup.
Thanks Killua96 for trying to help me. I just found out the problem. I had installed an app noheadsup by Floatify which tried to activate Do not disturb mode every time I turned on the screen. But I didn't doubt the app because I had installed it one week ago, and it just started acting up today. Thanks for suggestions friend!

Hi- On every Android phone I have ever had if I held the volume slider down I could rapidly change the volume. On my 6T this does not work, I must repeatedly press the slider to change the volume. Is this normal for the Oneplus?
Thanks
Not for me mine slides and changers with each click

Works fine here too. Are you rooted? Maybe installed an app that interferes with it?
That's strange. No I am not rooted.
I did install the AudidFX app at one point but have since uninstalled. Does not seem likely but maybe that messed it up.

Maybe bcoz mine is also working good
I reinstalled AudioFx, disabled it, and uninstalled it, and rebooted. I have it working again, at least for now!
Thanks all.
I am also having this issue.. i need to press it again and again to increase or decrease volume.. it just dont change if i keep holding the button either up or down
Issue returned on my phone.
I just rebooted and it went away.
I'm not sure yet but I suspect this happens after an app puts the phone in Do Not Disturb or gaming modes.
