Now to my question, I am relative new to Android programming and just know some basics so far. I have an app that I want to make and for that I need to use geolocation. I searched on Google for Tutorials regarding this but all I found was from StackMob and their download links are not working anymore. If anyone could point me towards a working tutorial for geolocation I would appreciate it greatly. Thank you very much.
You should use the the Location Services API in the Google Play Services library. The official documentation provides an in-depth look and a step-by-step tutorial on how to retrieve the current location, search for "Retrieving the Current Location" on the official Android dev site, and check the first training. (sorry, I can't post links yet)

I am an android developer and a college student, wants to work on some apps and will surely make them a better one.
As I am new to this field and I have to work on few published apps because I have got a project to modify 25 different apps which will provide me credits in my result.

Hey all, as the thread says I initially brought PA to G4 but I am a new beginner dev with not much of experience hence I need a bit of help, any will be appreciated. I was thinking about gathering a knowledge base for our precious Honor 7.
For this I need your help.
Let me summarize what I want to achieve:
a "Sticky - Start Here" thread which contains mostly links to the big and relevant threads already in this section
basically a link central
clear instructions on how to do what, what is possible what is not / not yet
links to all the available firmwares, updates, preferably with MD5 checksum because of CRC issues. (would be nice if all the files would be located in just one online storage like mega, gdrive etc)
I started to gather the data here in this google sheet.
Anybody can comment right now and when it is (near) complete, I find a way to upload here.
What I am asking:
If you have any info to add, please comment either in the google sheet or here so I can add to the knowledgebase.
If you add anything, please make it constructive and add links to your facts (eg. rooting is not possible - why? >> add link)
If we work together I think we can clear everything up for ourselves and for the community. (also the schematics can be used in other threads - if helpful )

hi, I am loading a web page in to the android web view.

When loading done, the upload button is not working. i think the web view should allow storage access . how can i do it, any idea for fix this please?
