It's related to Samsung Link, which I remove before even booting the phone up. It keeps Orbot from working properly.

i had the same issue a couple days ago. i only found one solution to it on my nexus, and its odd. apparently when you go into settings, applications, application settings, you dont have access to the maps cache like on the g1. so i found another way. only through an app called quick system info was i able to access the application info. there i pressed an uninstall update button, then came back and cleared data. since then its been working fine. i still dont get what update i uninstalled because its the same exact maps i had before.
wow thanks hah that worked

Are you on CM7? I got that a couple of times and I just rebooted or i just redownload the app again till it works. It might be a bug, a few members here experienced it.

I too experience it but I dont need to reboot or anything. Usually I get the error and I try again right away and it works fine. I have noticed it happens more to me when I have multiple market downloads going on at the same time. I get the error, click ok and then just try again right away and presto

Hi,
I'm having trouble with my SGH-1337M and the lock screen. It would randomly turn the lock icon on the lock screen very small, and recently, it would not unlock to the home screen when I swipe it. I'm not sure what's triggering this, but once I restart the phone, it would be fine for awhile.
Has anyone ran into this issue or have a solution to this?
Thanks.

What do you mean by weird apps? All my apps are from the App store, except Adobe Flash.

With weird apps I mean like apps that aren't popular and are new and stuff or do something weird or are constantly on in the background
I had the same issue, but when I reboot my device it's dissappear.
It's happening often or once while?
Sent from my GT-I9500
I'll try to get a list of the downloaded apps.
I'm not familiar with rooting cause I'm new to Android, so I'm going to try and not do that for now.
I experience this once every day or two.
I keep getting a pop-up that says "BLE pushing service binded : scanning start" any ideas what it is. It seems to happen mostly when opening the messages app.

Anyone?
No one else has this problem which implies either you have installed or disabled something to cause this. That or the device is broken.
I've got it now...find a solution?

Hi everyone,
I have notices in the last few days maybe that I sometimes "randomly" just get a popup message which says "Android-1.com" stays for 1 second and dissapears. Does anybody knows what does it mean and what causes it?

There is a web site called Android-1.com.
Did you download anything from the site maybe?
I am not sure, maybe I have... what can I do to remove it?

Not disappear message "Android-1.com"
To fix this, stop the application downloaded from our website! If do not help, remove this apps. The app is likely rebooted periodically!

Thank you, It does not bother me anymore because I have seen that it does not cause any issues. And now I am closing the app directly from the app manager (force close) in order to prevent the message from appearing.
Oh that sounds like malware, you've installed something which doe this.
The domain in question hides behind privacyprotect.org and its usually spammers, scammers, malware etc people that do that
