HAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAH BEST XDA Forum -> Post EVER!!!!
I seriously laughed out loud. I love it!!!
~while looking at my Nexus S(exy) sitting next to me.
P.S. I do have a MEGA hot girlfriend.
im just going to say this, Amon-RA bashed samsung devices and the NS publicly and now that he has one he says he loves it,
I have to call CS to add Preferred 4G web on the 3rd line, so I can hold MT4 on the main line and NS on the 3rd line, and nexus one on webconnect (used as mobile hotspot).
Who here goes to tmonews.com or follows them?

Paid full price to upgrade from a Vibrant I'd only had for 5 months. Totally worth it. There are some legitimate concerns, but most the people complaining either don't actually have one or just didn't research what they were buying.
Or they're morons .... either way .... best Android phone on the market. FULL STOP.
Im on htc desire amoled, full rooted
With desire HD port, everything is running ok .. really leaning towards getting the nexus S now though since its the new kid on the block with samoled , but unfortunately not available in my area and when it is will b v expensive . I was wondering , htc desires market went up cuz it was Nexus1's sister, but what about galaxy S . Will it get more quick and easy development now just like Nexus S will in future, as both phones are hardware wise mostly the same so there should b ez portability and porting?
Comments /opinions please .
Thanks.

My biggest issue is that I'm an HTC Fanboy. I've had a few devices : Motorola, Samsuck, LG, Nokia, Blackberry, Sony, and even a Sanyo ( don't ask ) . Hated them all after a few days. Some only took an hour for me not to like the device. So it's really difficult for me not to own an HTC Device.
I'm with you on that. HTC made the first device is truly enjoyed owning... At the same time if the moto comes with an unlocked bootloader then I may consider it... The new Motorola devices are pretty nice... mainly the razr line

My last 3 phones have been HTC. A winmo 6 that I don't even remember the model #, a G1, and my shift. If HTC comes out with a full QWERTY slider I may still not be completely sold on it. I've come to the realization that either company's new phones will be powerhouses. My next phone must have a full slider, and give me a first impression of durability! And constructed so that otterbox can design a damned cover that will last more than a month! I'm with my shift until February anyway, so I'm giving both companies the needed time to appease me. Lol.
Is it just me or is Motorola's US site all dicked up?

Very sad but nothing new. Almost all major corporations engage in shifty practices such as this. However, they do not all get caught.
To give a bit of a perspective as to why I am moving from the one to the s4
I am not a HTC hater yes my last couple of phones have been Samsung but I thought of give HTC a go on my next upgrade and boy do I regret it
I don't regret it because it's HTC because in fact before my sammy days I always bought HTC I hate it because HTC sent out a brand new flagship with major issues
My first one had gone button problems and the camera when video recording was awful it had a high pitched hiss on it
My second had proximity sensor problems , the lights on home and back didn't work and worse still the screen wasn't sealed so white could be seen
The third which broke the camels back and made me change to the s4 on launch had once again home / back button problems
The one is a beautiful device but it's full of qa issues
So to Sammy I go again I'm hoping the s4 is perfect and I wish id waited for the s4

HTC is probably a year from getting sold to another company. I loved my One X, but they hosed the deployment by succumbing to AT&T locking the boot loader and then released the One X+ too soon.
They are circling the drain. Their delays on the One will probably kill them this time, that and once again locking the boot loader on the One on AT&T.

Definitely deserves to win most awards, if they could get stock issues sorted it will exceed most people's expectations.
Next year will be very interesting especially if HTC can improve and Samsung continue to use plastic. HTC might even outsell Samsung!!
I can personally live with a high premium build phone with slight build quality imperfections but I can't accept paying over 500 for plastic with slight build quality issues. So go HTC.
The HTC One is now a finalist in three categories: Phone of the Year, Gadget of the Year, and the Design Award; and HTC is a finalist in the Tech Brand of the Year Category. If you want them to actually win, you'll need to vote again!

I love the aluminium unibody of the device and rest of the phone is great too I just came across these two new version of the HTC One, Platinum & Gold HTC One Editions. I must say they look awesome, i could only imagine what they would feel like in hand But i think they are a bit too expensive, would any one of your be buying one of these? I would love to know if there are people who can actually afford these :good:

I wouldn't consider buying it anyway but what makes more sense to you, people complaining about gaps for something that cost 500-600$ or people complaining about gaps for something they paid for 2500$? I guess we have a different logic
Back on topic.
What happens when The battery needs replacing and HTC are "no longer supporting the device" or have gone bust and can't replace the battery? I guess if you have the money to buy this it doesn't matter anyway!
Also, gold and platinum are WAAAYY softer than anodized AL.
And as far as I can tell, they just put the plating directly on top of the anodized layer.
So your phone will be normal looking in, ehhh, about a year.
