D802 Modem Update broke rotation & light sensor on SlimKat - G2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi there,
posting here since I'm not allowed to in the right thread.
I downloaded and flashed a newer KitKat Modem modified for AOSP ROMs from here and despite the claims, both rotation and the light sensor don't work.
No problem, I thought, let's just reflash the original JB modem from the flashable modems thread. Nope. Flashing successfully, yet still no rotation or light sensor. Alright, gotta restore a backup... Did that too, but nope... nothing.
What now? I really don't want to go back to stock.
Thanks for the help!
D802 EUR, SlimKat

I have the same problem.
I back to this kernel and works again on custom rom.

[Q] Flashed from 4.4.2 to 4.3 to CM10.2 No WiFi, Dialer Stops Responding

I was on 4.4.2 (stock) then I flashed to 4.3 & flashed on top CM 10.2 (latest stable build release, not just 10.2).
After I did, WiFi won't turn on, Dialer stops responding, and flashing back to stock 4.3 doesn't fix the WiFi problem. I need help on this ASAP.
I'm fine with flashing other ROMs onto my Nexus aslong as it fixes my problems.
One thing to note, I am on StraightTalk, and after flashing to CM, my data worked without me editing the APN like I normally need to when flashing new ROMs.
Did you downgrade the radio too?
Flash a 4.3 radio

Flashable Stock Modem? No rotation after going back to stock

I have a UK LG G2 D802.
I've been messing around with different ROMs but went back to stock. While messing around I flashed the modified modem to support AOSP auto rotation but now I'm back to stock auto rotation doesn't work. I'm guessing I need to flash back to the stock modem?
Searched the forums but can't find a list of stock modems. Can anyone help?

Lollipops problem after Chinese Lollipop rom

Hi, i was on official leaked lollipop Chinese rom, until Russian official lollipop released.
After wipe and format all thing with twrp and flash 8gb pit file and flash Russian official rom there was a lot of problem, device was so laggy and when it went to lock screen and display turned off, there wasn't any way to turn it on except remove battery and put it again.
So after that, i flashed leaked Chinese rom again and all problems gone.
Now Indian lollipop released and i flashed it and all problems come again.
What is the problem? and how i can solve that?
anyone??
I'm having the exact same problem.
I was having difficulties installing custom ROMs and decided to go back to stock and try again... Now I can't install anything properly.
@Mohamadreza - Have you had any joy?
I take it you've given up?
I tried flashing both stock K and L roms without any joy. Eventually found an old backup. Restored that and now is is back to normal.
Hope your phone is alive again...

Well it is expected to give a Factory Data Reset after flashing the Firmware through Odin.
Flash the firmware and give a factory wipe from the stock recovery.
I hope it will solve your problem.(mine was solved)
All the best!
I found solution .
The solution is downgrade to kitkat rom and then upgrade to any rom you want like official lollipop
I tried flashing both official KitKat and official Lollipop roms without success. Restoring fixed my problem.
Glad you're sorted now.

Losing network signal on custom ROMs after trying out stock Lollipop

Hi, I have d802 with stock Lollipop 30B firmware.
After wanting to go back to CyanogenMod 12, I cant get stable cellular signal anymore. It looks like it's toggling airplane mode on and off every ~5 sec.
Tried wiping, restoring previous nandroid, a clean install, other ROMs... same thing, cellular network is stable only on stock ROM.
Is there any way to fi it? Has the 30B update updated the modem/baseband so it isn't compatible anymore? Will flashing stock KK revert all updates partitions and firmwares on the phone?I have a fully working stock ROM, but I use custom ROMs for like forever, and this LG UI is for me ugly and limited...

AT&T G2 D800 - All Cloudy roms are broken

Hello everyone,
I just received an unlocked AT&T G2 today. I rooted it with rootstump and installed twrp with autorec, and then decided to install CloudyG2.
Instructions say to wipe, then install KK baseband file, then the rom. I did this, and ended up with a lot of basic functions not working. Things like auto rotate, auto brightness, no 5 GHz internet, and no signal were some of the things not working. Searching the thread said that you need a kitkate baseband file, which I already installed.
I try to reinistall both radio's from
here: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=12880
and here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2451426,
and both of the most recent versions do not do anything.
Thinking it might be just the rom, I wipe, install the most recent kitkat baseband file here for D800: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2451426 and try cloudystock 2.7.
Same problems
What am I doing wrong? Is the baseband file not installing correctly? I believe the original baseband was 10D or something. The stock firmware was 4.4 when the phone came.

I can only recommend flashing the modded 4.3 bootloader (12a?) and flashing BlissPop or the like.
