Just got a new S5 and installed xbmc frodo 12.3
It works a treat but the sound it breaking up and crackling everytime i watch anything.
All the other apps work ok so its not the phone.
Anyone else get this?

I'd also like to know this. I want it for the wireless display side of things, seems that some of the functionality has been lost along the way as it has the function there but no way of turning it on. Can anyone confirm? Or confirm that it's working on ANY CM10.1 ROM?
how is it my inferior s3 would stream with no problem but my new s4 leaves me hanging??? should we try to install the s3's video player?

Hello everyone,
I just recently made the jump from a S2 to the S4 and I must say this phone surpasses all my expectations so far. The only thing that I find I need to get working better is the audio for music. Playing music in the google music app seems kinda flat. My old phone phone was rooted and I had beats audio on it, but with my new phone I don't really need to root it till we get LTE in my area for wifi tethering. That's really all i need to root for. Can anyone recommend a way to increase my audio experience? I have tried a couple of equalizers off the play store but they only seem to work for a short time before they stop and I have to reboot or reload the app.

EDIT: I mainly use a LG BT headset with my phone so that would need to be supported ( which has been part of my issue ) .

I just got my nexus player couple of days ago and I really wanna replace my old openelec pc asap. It's so nice to have a all in one solution for all my media including some emulatuon gaming...
The problem is with kodi. I can't start any stream on icefilms. No matter which hoster. It resolves the link and seems start but then it aborts right away. I'm on kodi 15 isengard. Same version works just fine on my phone in the same network...
Is anybody else seeing the same problem? Happend on 14.2 too...
Works for me.. Kodi build from the Play Store.. Maybe try Icefilms links from Genesis add-on?

I'm using CM12.1 and everything is fine beside the usage of my SlimPort-Adapter.
The picture is fine, but the audio comes out of the phone. With stock rom audio was like it should, send to the TV.
Anyone with an idea to solve the problem?

I have a S9+ that I use Dex and Lod while having Netflix stream on the phones display. That is thanks to Goodlock/Multistar. The solution works great! I am trying to do the same thing with my S5e but I only get sound and no video. Does anyone have ideas how to remedy this? Has anyone else run into this isuue?
