Hi all,
is it possible to disable "screen thumbnails", when man click the HOME button? It is really useless and very slow.
Depends on the ROM your using?....
I think the option to disable was available on VR12 iirc
Yeah it's possible to remove it on VillainROM 12 !
Menu -> Configure -> Thumbnail Settings -> untick Home Button
Thanks. This works. But I am using the offical 2.1 ROM (Singapor edition)
Hello fellow S3 users,
Following the release of the new Android 4.3 update for the Galaxy SIII many people have discovered multiple issues, one being the loss of functionality of the Multi window feature. I'm not sure if this has already been posted but I stumbled upon a way to fix this problem. It is very easy to do:
1. Go to "Settings - My Device - Home Screen Mode"
2. Select "Easy Mode" and apply
3. Go back into "Settings - My Device - Home Screen Mode"
4. Select "Standard Mode" and apply
5. Go to "Settings - My Device - Display" and enable "Multi window"
Long pressing the back key should now bring up the Multi window panel.
Hopefully this works for you as it worked for me.
Thnks man, very thanks!
Thanks,it's some kind of trick to reveal hidden menu?

It's the apps' problems, they need to be programmed to support multiwindow

My update resulted in more than just a multi-window problem. My whole S3 became hightly unstable and continuously freezing. had to remove it.

HELP
How to add themes?
I want to make the following changes:
Button > New Action
Recent apps button > Menu (Done)
Home button long press > App Switcher
Recent apps Long press > Google now
How can I do this?
Either use Xposed module to remapping the keys or use X-Note ROM, It has built in support for key remapping. Hope it helps...
Check the multi-ROM maintainers G plus page, it works like a charm.

Works great. I have never used multirom but it was easy to setup and install second ROM on phone. I haven't had a phone yet that could do this. This is great...
now we wait for kernels with kexec support.
Im currently booting Stock + Euphoria + PA alpha. Im on Franco (*EDIT* SORRY IM NOT ON FRANCO) All work without any hiccups.

Install multirom manager v1.180 or later initially it will show product not supported.
then go to settings and click on the version number 5 times to enable developer options.
set override manifest URL to - http://tasemnice.eu/multirom-test/manifest.json
go back to the main page now it will refresh and you can install Multirom.
download all the rom files you need, Boot to TWRP --> Advanced --> Multirom --> add rom --> SELECT ANDROID ZIP --> select the zip files and flash.
Reboot and now you should see a boot-menu with all your roms. :victory: Enjoy the beauty of android in all shapes and sizes

I'm sorry but I think you misunderstood me, I mean how did you get it to work with no custom kernels with kexec support now.
Unless Franco have got a secret version which support multi rom
OMG guys im sorry I was using franco but recently I was flashing kernals to get xposed working. Im not very sure what I use now. Im at work now Ill report back ASAP
Guys im sorry but now I feel dumb. I have attached a snip about my kernal. I cant remember which one it is. can some one please identify. Im using xposed with this kernal.
And I flashed Franco just to see if it works with multirom as expected it dosnt.
Franco kernel does not work with multirom on my nexus because it doesn't have the kexec-hardboot patch. Is there a way around that to still be able to use Franco? Or should I just flash the CM kernel?
This is just a testing version - use the stock and CM kernels I built for now. However, if nobody encounters any more problems with MultiROM v31x and recovery 2015-03-09 p1, I will release the stable version soon, and with it, the kexec-hardboot patch for kernel devs to merge.

Can't wait
Only thing I found, when booting using after setting up the app 'LiveBoot' (it shows the debug messages while booting) the display will freeze on the last wall of text when boot finishes. Still can interact with the screen, just have a wall of text between you and what android is trying to display if that makes sense. I just turned it off and all works good now.

Thanks a lot man seriously thanks a lot
Everything's perfect, here.
Chroma Rom as primary, Clean Rom as secondary.
Back up also works fine.
Well done!
Great job!
So I have installed Multi ROM now. However I would prefer to change my primary ROM.
So what are the steps to do the same ?
Also do I need to flash a kernel which has kexec.c hardboot patch, everytime I would prefer to change my Primary ROM ?. And what about Inject Curr.Boot sector?
From the looks of it you just go to "Swap ROM", I tried it last night and it doesn't seem like you can place one of your secondary ROMs as your primary ROM, but you can make your primary ROM one of your secondary ROMs and install a new one, which will need to have the kexec patch.
Hey everyone, today i have enable Multiwindow Mode in Le 2 x520. I have got this under Developer Mode options. But i am unable to use it. How can i get this features. Please reply me guys and help all the EUI guys.
For this you have to have rooted phones.
First of all,
Find Build Prop file,
Under Device>system>build prop,
Open Build Prop and find ro.build.type=user,
Edit ro.build.type=userdebug
Save it and restart the device.
Go to Setting, About Phone and tap on Build 7 times.
Go to Developer Mode
Under this you will see Multiwindow Mode
In this click on
Thanks.
Is this work on le2 x526??
I think it won't work on letv brand. Option is enable under setting but can't use this feature. May be the developer can explain.
It shall work if you enable Vanilla Status Bar.
For this you must have EUI Moder, which might be granted by xposed module.
I'm not sure but you can try, if you have some idea about rooted devices.
Have you checked the option in Accessibility>Multitask button!
Check whether there is an option added or not since in Vanilla rooms multi window is active via Multitask button! But in leeco it's menu as default for long press!
