Only ROMs based in stock will have touch less. Check the dev section. Read the opening post. There's only a few, so won't take long.

Asia Retail Version - XT1052

Make sure your phone is compatible with ROMs before doing anything.
And do a nandroid backup in recovery first.

Maybe the CyanogenMod11S made for the OnePlus will have that feature, though I'm guessing it's made for Snapdragon 800 architecture.

I've been wondering the same thing since the One was announced. When developers started working on ROMs, it was my understanding that touchless controls didn't exist because they couldn't figure out how to make them work. Maybe the One will give them the information they need to make it happen for us.

I hope drivers are fine, and CM will develop a rom.
Is so, I'm buying this

That was quick, looking forward to some killer kernels in the future.
There are 3 files there *_MEA, *_SEA & *_SWA . Any idea what the difference is between these sources (if any)?

I am not sure what region-specific changes could be in a kernel! Guess I will need to download and have a look. I wanted to add some governors to the kernel -- lulzactiveq mainly, from Gokhan's sources, because I was getting great performance with that on the S3.

Sorry to disappointing you, but codeworkx (Major CM developer) has publicly announced that he's not going to do anything with Exynos based devices because Samsung didn't release a proper documentation for it.
Source:
http://in.androidauthority.com/custom-roms-a-no-go-on-samsung-exynos-powered-smartphones-3097/
Source compile fine out-of-the-box btw (not always the case with Samsung). No device yet, so not sure if it boots (not always the case with Samsung )...

From an AOSP perspective : This means that if anyone is willing to take the effort it should be possible to have a CM10 build up. Unfortunately, the kernel is not the only thing needed and the CM devs are disillusioned with Samsung.
Don't hold your breath, but actually the learnings from S3 which has a decent working build should help if someone wants to do it.

If anyone is trying to compile the Samsung source drop, a heads up: the Cypress touchkey drivers are missing from the source. Use the driver sources from the I9300 update 5 (/drivers/input/keyboard/cypress). Works fine with that.

So I don't really understand anything about sources, I have to ask: Is this the Exynos source that devs have been upset about not being able to access?

ROM to flash

I'm new to android. Just got a S4 l337 few weeks ago. I've my phone rooted, CWM loki'd. I'm now not sure which ROM I should be installing. I want clean, smooth and stable ROM. Pls suggest me one. I'm using T-mobile BTW. Thanks a lot
Touchwiz roms are located in the Android Development section and aosp roms can be found in the original development section. Read upand try out a few (assuming you've already made a backup).
These "which rom is best?" threads are usually shut down quickly. It's best to just form your own opinion on which rom works best for you.
Cheers

No one can answer that for you. You'd have to try out both to see how they fit to your liking.
Carbon or LiquidSmooth all the way!

[Q] Any 4.4 based ROMS available?

It's been a while since I checked out ROMs for the G2. I remember most, if not all, ROMs were kit kat versions based on the JB source and different radios were required to correct some issues.
With 4.4 source being out for a while now, are there any 4.4 based ROMs for the G2 yet? If so, what are some?

I've heard very, very good things about Mahdi, but I'm not a big fan of the stock UI.

don't know not a fan of aosp roms on my g2 mainly because of the features available on stock that aren't on aosp
main reason you don't see sokp around the main thread is because they decided to post device specific threads and reason you may have not heard of it is because they lack ls980 support but you just want to look at rom here you go:
d800 sokp
just by looking at features section you can see they offer tons of options

Yeah, SOKP is the sonic open Kang project. Their ROM is literally PACKED with features. It's a little buggy at times. I think last time I used it my screen would become unresponsive and I'd have to reboot. May have been a modem issue though, not sure. It's still based on 4.2 source instead of 4.4. Just hacked to run kit Kat.
