I have flashed Hyperion 9 and there is a problem with WIFI. I have no MAC address and I can't establish network connection. Any FIX ?
Can I use FIX for Hyperion 8 ?
Flash Wifi Drivers. Search in Google Wifi Drivers for Galaxy Y ..Flash it in CWM with System Mounted ..Dont Forget to press thanks..

whether firmware that u flash ??
from stock rom or cosrom??
try to flash with stock rom. u can download the stock rom from the following link:

There is no such option in 2.3.5
You are possibly just shocked because you flashed something based on 2.3.5 after being used to 2.3.6.

Go to wireless and networks in settings. Go to mobile networks and toggle packet data and data roaming and fix up APN. Worked twice for me.
Funny because in my Stock Rom it never showed up that option lol, you can enable it by config>wireless>mobile whatever> toggle packet data
Mine doesn't have that option too. How to get that?

Just flash DXLL1 stock rom using odin

after Flashing..
Know your Galaxy Y's IMEI by typing *#06#
change your CSC (customer region code)
in your galaxy Y by typing..
*#272*(IMEI)#
then Install your desired network code..
I'm using Open Line from Philippines.(XTC)

hi there, its easy as you say i think the problem is with permissions, give permissions manually to the wlan modules thenh restast or in cmw fix permitions and its working nice and easy.
do the trick worked for you???
If you can't use tethering usb feature, because driver error on your pc, you don't need to download the thunderbird driver.. just download the latest samsung kies and install it.. very easy, right? And your problem solved

I had the Brazilian Stock ROM 4.0.2, V10C.
I'm job now, and with WIFI 802,1x I connected without problem... But in my house, WEP, OPEN, WPA2, WPA2-PSK not connect... =(
Then you must verify your rooter and the settings.I recomand to reset rooter.Before reset verify your rooter setting if Wifi is open and no password , if chanel is set 1 to 7(one of this nombers, no matter what) ,finally chanell frequenty is auto.

It don't have nothing to do with that my s3 connects just fine do u think it could be the firmware or the kernel if so can u link it up for me
I have had two devices that did not like my cheap router.
One kindle and one pc. It liked other routers running the same settings.
A friend of mines s4 did this as well with his router.
It is not your device I'm blaming it is the router+device I am blaming.
Either take the suggestion or don't but it would be my first go to.
