Have you moved back that whatsapp folder to your internal sd? It should be in the root of your internal sd.. Just check it out...

Store Text msg in memory card

Hi all,
I want to store all my incoming text msg's to my memory card.
Yesterday i did a Restore Factory settings and all my messages were erased.
Plzzz help me out.
Thanks
Ganesh
I am not sure if it's possible unlike nokia to store messages in Memory card but you can use a backup program like PIM Backup which takes backup of ur messages and contacts and later restore it. It's a very small utility and create backups in zip format.
Use Microsoft My Phone, this gives you the option of backing up all txt mgs on line, then you can restore all of them after a hard reset.

[Q] Deleted SMS storage

What file in my internal memory would possibly hold my deleted SMS? I did a temporary root and found the current texts since delete but not sure where to look for the others. Thanks so much!

[Q] Problem restoring titaniumbackup on NANDbuild cyanogenmod7

Hey guys,
could you help me out restoring my settings with titaniumbackup, here's my problem:
I backed up my settings on my previous rom (DHDrom SD), then flashed to cyanogenmod7, but to get rid of all the garbage on my SDcard(like stupid pictures and sounds used in wmapplications that appear in my android gallery and music application) i wiped my SDcard clean (i did backup my SD on my computer). But now is the problem that titaniumbackup obviously can't find the backup file anymore because i wiped my SDcard. So...
Is there a way to fish up my backup file from the SDcardbackup on my computer and get it properly onto my actual SD so that titaniumbackup could use it to restore my settings?
im sorry for being a nb
Thanks!

Hi,
Looking at my own sd card ,I've got a TitaniumBackup folder and a TitaniumBackup-3.7.3.2.zip.
See if you have anything like on your pc backup, restore them to the card, and see if that restores your settings.
nope didnt work the only thing i can find with the name titanium in it is an empty folder in the data folder
The default location for Titanium backup is /sdcard/TitaniumBackup. If that folder doesn't exist or is empty, then it seems your backup is lost.
Okay and couldn't it be hidden in the root folder somewhere because titaniumbackup always asks for root access? Because I used the free root version of titaniumbackup?
Anyways thanks for answering!!

Titanium restore

Just go S5 yesterday. I have an S3 that fell down and ended up with a crashed screen. Lucky me I have done Titanium Backup yesterday morning. Now I moved the extSD Card to my new phone, rooted my S5, installed Titanium Backup and pointed it to the folder existing on my extSD card, which has the backup files I have done on my S3. Also I had a copy of my Internal Storage of the S3 on my extSD Card, so I pasted this to my Internal Storage of my new S5. I restored half of the apps but then all of them get error at opening 'Unfortunately, xxx has stopped'
I am now on my Play Store uninstalling each one of them then installing it again. So far the ones I have installed have worked. But ofcourse without my settings. So I am starting from scratch.
What is the reason for the above error ? Is there any fix for it ?

Restore SMS Messages?

Today I upgraded to Nougat. I restored my SMS messages from a Titanium backup after a fresh install but then didn't realize what I was doing so I wiped my phone after that. Is there any way to get SMS messages back? Are they backed up with Google somewhere? Please help I had a backup but when I wiped my phone it was gone

If it wiped the Titanium Backup folder on your Internal Storage then they are gone.
That's why I always backup my Internal Storage to my Linux box so that I always have a copy somewhere other than the Phone.
And on a key chain flash drive. Bc things can go wrong
