Hello,
I'm running the Kit Kat NC2 leak on my Verizon Note 3 and can't seem to get isis up and running. I get past the root block with root cloak. But after I continue the sign up process it says my device is not supported.
Anyone else with the same problem or a solution? Greatly welcome any and all solutions.
Thanks guys.
have you tried a search yet using the 4.4 and isis key words? I've seen people with this same issue in Beans thread I think but I can't remember post count.

Yeah no such luck.
There is a thread in the general section, not far from the top.

[HOWTO] ISIS Mobile Wallet on 4.4.2 KitKat Builds
Sent from my SM-N900V using XDA Free mobile app

I just upgraded my Verizon Note 3 from Android 4.3 MJE to Android 4.4 NC2 and I am no longer to use ISIS Mobile Payment.
Root Cloak is activated and properly cloaking ISIS and other apps.
When trying to activate ISIS, I get the error message that this device is not supported.
Has anyone else experienced this error? Does any one have a work around?
Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!
You have to do some build prop edits to get it properly working. I have it working on my note 3 with kk

After changing my build.prop file to the Android settings for 4.3, I was able to activate ISIS Wallet successfully. I was then able to restore my build.prop to the KitKat firmware build IDs.
Is there a fix if I went from 4.3 to the leaked 4.4.2 using Odin on my non-rooted Verizon Note 3? I've been using ISIS fine on 4.3, but now ISIS says my phone is not supported.

The only way you could get Isis to work in the scenario is by restoring a backup from Isis that was made on 4.3. Im not syre if you can without root though.

If I try hitting the 'get started' button I get greeted with a message that there is no 3g or 4g connection.
I can hit the login button and I get sent to a login page.
is there a way o create an account without the phone?

The instructions above are quite clear regarding which lines in build.prop you need to modify.

Yep. Great directions and it worked perfectly. Problem is I forgot to backup my original settings and was requesting someone to post what they had so I could put mine back.

So before I go any further I would just like to quickly note that I have tried to do some research on this question before posting it and have came up empty handed.
Now for the question: My Samsung Galaxy S4 SGH-I337 updated to NC1 the night that the update was released and I was wondering how I could currently achieve root on NC1?
Specs:
Model: Samsung SGH-I337
Android Version: 4.4.2
Baseband: I337UCUFNC1
Currently running 100% stock and would like root.
Thanks in advance for any and all help!

The same way you root NB1. This has been asked, you proceed with the downgrade as normal. It may help to go to NB1 first and then MK2.

I'm not exactly sure who you're calling a "noob", but if I would like to make a new thread that someone has already asked then I will damn sure do as I please. I appreciate your link in your first reply but the word noob isn't exactly a friendly one and some people take offense to it whether or not it is intended to do so.

At one point we all were and called ourselves like that. What bothers is that we see the same questions on new threads over and over. A forum was design to read and search. Once you don't find your answer you post a new thread. Some moderators will suggest the same to avoid clogged our forum. That's how we should treated and care for. I don't feel it's offensive and if it is apologize to those who feel that way.

I remember when I had my GS3 I had to flash stock 4.3 (which if I'm not mistaken still has a locked bootloader) and then I flashed a custom stock 4.1 rom and was able to flash the latest CM 11 plus a modem/bootloader combo zip from 4.3 and it worked fine. Is that even in the realm of possibilities with the GS4?

I had the GS3 also and it was great you could flash anything Ubuntu and more, but now AT&T tied our hands because the war it's having with Samsung we pay. Others phones like the HTC it's reported to be bootloader unlocked. You can flash cm 11 without any problem.

I hope somebody can help me with this. My question concerns 2 S4s. One is rooted while the other is completely virgin stock. The rooted s4 won't even allow me to check for an update no matter how many times I try. The stock s4 will check but always says it's up to date. What can I do to fix this? I'm more concerned about the stock s4 since the update will break my root on the other. But I would be curious if there's an explanation as to why the rooted s4 is doing what it's doing.

The root won't let you check probably because of the modified system. For the other one, it's known that AT&T's OTA is kinda buggy and you pretty much need a full strength WiFi and cell network connection.

Is there a way to root a verizon note 3 running nj6 firmware right now? If not how do I downgrade back to 4.4.2? I just accidentally upgraded to 4.4.4 and now I don't know if I can root it or not. Is there also a way to get safestrap on 4.4.4 right now?

I'm sorry. You are stuck with 4.4.4. At this point, there is no way to go back.
Sent from my SM-T700 using XDA Free mobile app
No there is no way to root it yet. Just hold on to it for a few more days. Once a rooted ROM comes out, it will open the gates.
Ok thanks for the info
I'm wondering how fast this will happen since developer Hashcode is no longer actively involved in rooting
Sent from my SM-N900V using XDA Free mobile app
I'm also wondering how long it will take for there to be a rooting method for 4.4.4
Patience is needed but I expect months of waiting.
That sucks

All I want is https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=eu.chainfire.lumen&hl=en(Cf.lumen) Not sure if that's formatted right, but yeah, I just want a 2700k screen without losing a ton of contrast. It would be MUCH nicer on the eyes.
Does it work?

Now is there a way to root nj6? Or how much longer do we have to wait for a rooting method?

Nooo don't say that, somewhere was to be a hero dev, who loves the Note 3 4.4.4 .
?????
It's so sad to known I voluntarily upgrade to NJ6.
(sobs)
I guess I too don't keep my hopes up for getting a root for android 4.4.4 cause I agree all the devs are focusing on android l aka android 5.0

I might just call Verizon & claim my phone is broken so I can get a replacement & see if the replacement phones come with 4.4.2

No way to downgrade. Your stuck. And no way to root 4.4.4. Please read around the General and Q&A sections of the Verizon Note 3. This question has been asked and answered plenty of times.
