Anyone try out Tegra Zone and their new HD High performance games on Xoom? If so how is it? the games look pretty good.
Same as in market, but centrally located. Has info on coming soon games too which is nice. I like the interface.
I have some good videos on my youtube channel about the new games and tegra zone. Http://youtube.com/blackprince310

Nothing special really, just has a few games (no demos so far) and some coming soon stuff. Nothing you can't buy from the regular market place, but it's kind of nice to be able to find these in one place.

Everything I've come across on the Tegra Zone app works great. Dungeon Defenders Second Wave, Riptide Gp, Sonic 4 Episode II, Siegecraft THD, etc......
Jelly Defense, Deer Hunter Reloaded, Let's Create! Pottery, Treemaker, Flick Golf Extreme, Smuggle Truck, Zombie Flick, Radiant Defense, all Kairosoft Games, Evac HD, Zombie Wonderland 2, Beyond Ynth, OvenBreak, Zombro, and Pro Zombie Soccer just to name a few lol...
I've played dozens of more that I know work, but those are some good ones that work well on the 300t. 9mm I couldn't get to work, but that's about the only one I really miss so far...

Perhaps you did (although that wasn't specified), but many others will find the information useful. You don't have to include them in updates to the first post, but everyone should feel free to contribute any working game.

There's really no reason why those shouldn't be able to work with the TF300, so that list is probably a good place to start.
thanks for the list

I downloaded galaxy on fire 2 THD and its definately not in HD, the graphics look absolutely gash. Is this just me being an idiot and downloading the wrong version or it not native 1280*800 resolution?
Also where did you get battlefield 2 from? Cant find it on play store.

Well, the term "hard core" can go a lot of different ways. If by hard core you mean THD games or basically games that show off your tab's graphical prowess... you've got most of the top ones already. There are some nice older titles like Roboto HD that look great as well but aren't graphically as strong as games like Shadowgun or 9mm.
If you want games that look good and actually work like they're supposed to the ones I added are nice options; It really just depends on the type of games your looking for. I generally blow through 40-60 games a week and can put any others I find in the thread bsweetness suggested, thanks for that btw there were some there I haven't tried yet.
I picked up my tab 2 days after it dropped on-line, and my biggest gripe so far besides color depth has been lack of compatible games. There are a lot out there, but I was surprised at how many don't play nice with ICS or with tablets in general.
They like to tout the "power of gaming" with quad-core devices, but they don't talk about the lack of quality or compatible games do they...

Il add them to the list later on today...also hopefully when ics hits most of the phones they will update games to work with ICS and tegra 3
Sent from my SGH-T989 using XDA
That's true. The One X and One S seem to be selling well, so one can only assume that better Tegra 3 support is coming. However, aside from the One phones, how many phones are being released with a Tegra 3 SoC? Well, at least those are selling well.

it is not native resolution, you do get the screen resize option in the tray. My graphics are fine while in the ship flying. Not true HD, but certainly not gash.

Where can i download those games?
The Nexus 7 is a Tegra 3 tablet, yet Splashtop THD (Designed for Tegra tablets) is incompatible. Does anyone know why, or if it will ever become compatible?

IIRC, will become compatible. When is up to the developer. It is only compatible with Transformer Prime 10 inch iirc. iirc, THD was designed for 10 inch devices in mind.
I read all this somewhere but do not have the link. Probably googling Transformer Prime and splashtop will yield results.
I am waiting out on my $25 purchase waiting for a THD version for Nexus. I am more interested in access to my PC's Office programs, but I may as well get the added benefit of better gaming compatibility.
splashtop thd was designed for 10inch tablets as mentioned above. devs are working on a version that will work with the nexus 7.

I don't understand why '10 inch' makes any difference on a device with the same chip set and number of pixels on screen.
Besides , I find the spashtop hd app even more responsive on the n7 than THD on my prime or my iPad 3 version. Its extremely fluid. Maybe down to better WiFi performance? I stream live/recorded TV from my htpc flawlessly with it.
If I had anything to complain about it would be that the 7 inch screen makes it hard to precisely control the mouse cursor location.

Gameloft games (unfortunately) treat our nexus 7 as mid-end to low-end device. This can be seen in Asphalt 7 (missing car reflections, environment looks like crap), NOVA 3 (no smoke, no particles, no "heat" from gun after shooting) and others.
I know on older phones simply installing chainfire would trick these games into thinking they are running on some high-end device; however, as chainfire does not work for us, do you guys know of any alternative way to get the full graphics we deserve?
They need to optimise for tegra. I have tried a few hings but no luck.

If you look at nova 3 for instance, I'm afraid those high end settings would slow the game to a crawl at times. Even now it gets choppy sometimes.
Like leelaa said, they seem to be completely ignoring the tegra crowd, even while all other devs are catching up and catering to this rapidly expanding platform.
I know the framerate is not perfect, but I would still like to experience the full potential of the games. Hopefully a solution will appear soon.
update: I think I managed to worsen the NOVA 3 graphics using this build.prop values:
ro.product.model=SPH-L710
ro.product.brand=samsung
ro.product.name=d2spr
ro.product.device=d2spr
any idea what are Samsung Galaxy S3 values (the exynos version)? Maybe that will enable the full graphics!
I'm planning to buy this tablet specifically for playing this game. Does anyone else play it on this device? How does it run?
I bought an Asus MeMO Pad 7 and the game is very choppy. Not unplayable, but not like on my note 3.
Will the tegra 3 processor handle it?
Very playable.

consider something better
Well, actually it's not that good. Screen quality is quite bad, 1280x800 makes this game look ugly if you ever zoom in. So I'd recommend buying something with better display. Or at least try befory buying.
I'm playing CoC on Nexus 7 (2012). It's not bad, just not that good.. Oh, and it does lag a little on my device. It's quite old now, so maybe it's my particular device problem. But still, display is crappy.
