The one downloaded by GooManager.
I suppose that one won't work since I'm on a n9005 root?

How can I tell if twrp was installed successfully?
Figured it out, it worked successfully.
If I want to download custom ROMs(Cyanogenmod specifically), what version should I be looking for?

It boots up fine and I attempted to root it but it seems like it works but I run root checker and it tells me that it has rooted incorrectly. A lot of other people have been saying that samsung block this exploit in 4.2.2 and im basically screwed till the new update comes out. Ive tried everything, help would be appreciated

Hey everyone.
I tried updating my CWM via odin, I did everything as normal.
However when the phone boots back up, It says ( in the top left hand corner )
RECOVERY BOOTING
set warranty bit : recovery
When I put it back into download mode and back into odin, it came up with the green 'pass'
I have tried taking out the battery, and then entering into bootloader, but the phone just resets and comes back up with the same message. There is no way for me to get into bootloader
I need help please guys

It's normal. The Knox bootloader only like its modules stock.
Whit a Customer Recovery we have : set warranty bit: recovery
Whit a new modem we have : set warranty bit: modem
Whit a new kernel we have : set warranty bit : kernel but in this case we can have at boot "Secure Fail: Kernel" in red and not reboot. May be.
This arrived to me on another device w/ Knox bootloader also.
SO what do I do mate?

I can get into download mode, but I can't even get into bootloader...
Did evrything the same as I have done 10x before, I am guessing it could be a dodgy file we flashed?
Have you tried flashing an older version of CWM ?

You need to flash KK with ODIN then let it boot.
You need to either root it using CF-Autoroot or CWM will. Both of these need to support KK.
Latest CF-Autoroot can be found here - http://download.chainfire.eu/352/CF-Root/CF-Auto-Root/CF-Auto-Root-hlte-hltexx-smn9005.zip
And the latest CWM here - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2454079
I don't know how it will play with a Mac though...

Hey mate
Thanks for your reply.
I was already rooted and running JB 4.3
When you say I need to flash KK with ODIN, is that KK ROM or a KK supported CWM ?
Seriously confused here...
And I already tried downloading the latest CWM which is what got me into this mess in the first place

Grab the correct CWM for JB 4.3 and flash it, it'll fix you presuming you are running JB -- If not re-flash KK and run the latest CWM - then If if bootloops, take battery out place back in and boot into recovery, wipe cache and boot up into Android

Flashed it via ODIN as usual and it booted perfectly.

Just glad my phone is working again, thanks.
I finally pulled by S4 out of the box from December and foolishly took the OTA update to 4.3 MVLUEMK6.
I managed to root it, and install SuperSU. I cannot get any recovery installed......
Help?? I'm guessing it's an MK6 (from the build #).... Can anyone provide some insight??
I've had no issues with my S3 loading every ROM out there..........
Thanks in advance guys.

I have the same phone, loaded twrp through goo manager....some say you shouldn't do it that way ( no guarantee) is there a particular recovery your trying to load? Also be careful because our phone i337m shares the same forum as the US i337, they are different even though they are Galaxy 4S. I am sure there are likely Odin files kicking around here somewhere too....

ive tried rooting my galaxy note 4 sm-n910f version by the guide here and it worked ive had superSU installed and used root required apps.
then for some reason after a week or so ive noticed that my phone isnt rooted anymore how can that be? ive check via "Root checker basic" app from the playstore and it says the device is not rooted.
and the superSU app is gone aswell.
ive tried to root it again 3 more times and it seems not to work...
what can be the problem?

I have an S5 G900V that was rooted to Lollipop. For a couple of days now, when you wake it up the screen sometimes would not work. I would have to turn the screen off for about 30 seconds then it was fine. Well, today I restarted it and now it just reboots. I have gone through odin, with a couple of firmware's for it. Really all I would like to do now, is clear the custom logo. Verizon is sending me a new one, so I dont care if it even works... Thank you for any help,

And you flashed the AO8 kernel or firmware after installing the ROM? You have to flash NK2 kernel now to get into Safestrap and AO8 when you're done. SS isn't compatible with 5.0, so you always have to downgrade the kernel to use it.

Yes, I tried both of those kernal's with firmware.... Its odd how its acting like nothing it being flashed to it. My replacement phone should be delivered today, so I guess I will just shoot some juice to it. I was hoping to at least get it running and back to stock, maybe its just not ment to happen.
