I need a gallery app

I need a bit of help. I was having little niggles with jpd like the keyboard wouldnt go off screen when a new page was loading and when i finishing a call the screen wouldnt relight when i was moving from the proximity sensor so i flashed jpf instead. Iv re rooted. G3modded and overclocked and its running fine apart from my gallery isnt working. it just says loading images and the screen goes black and stays like that till i click back. Can anyone send me a link to a gallery apk so o can delete this one and redownload it. Thanks in advance

Tried it and it just keeps sayin application not installed. And my other gallery that doesent work wont show up in my system apps so i cant delete it aaaarrrggghh. I got this rom from samfirmware too

delete the galery.apk in system/app and then put there the galery.apk you downloaded from the link

As i said in my last post the gallery apk isnt showing up in the system apps so i cant delete wot wont show up. Dunno wot to do next

Finally Managed to delete the gallery app but my phone will not instal the new gallery app.

you can't instal it! you have to copy the apk to system/app

Oh i thought i just went into file manager and installed it. How do i copy it into system apps

Come on man
with root explorer. just press and hold the file, choose copy, navigate by back key, go to system/apps, mount as r/w, paste it there. I hope ur problem is solved by now.

Ok iv got the gallery app installed and showing in the app draw. But the original problem is ocurring. Click on gallery = black screen. Mite have to reflash with a different rom. I cant understant the problem as the rom is from samfirmware

I have one problem with gallery 3d... i have kyrillos 6.2 ROM and when i run gallery i see some artifacts in background.... should i install gallery.apk from stock ROM or what?

Android Market for CM7

Where can I get Android market for CM7?
When I installed update it just dissapeared.
I found few versions of market but they aren't working.
Plz help.

Install the faster gbapps zip file which is on the CM7 thread and reboot. I think just rebooting will make the market reappear aswell.

How To Theme System Apps Right?

Well I gave it a go, got everything working, but when I flashed my new app via CWM, it does not show up on reboot! Am I doing something wrong, or is my phone just un-themeable (yes it is deodexed- DOLJ1)?

Ok so I get my apk (DialerTabActivity in this case) and lightly theme it using apk multitool, change them button icons. I recompile the apk and nothing goes wrong. I try to push to system using CWM, then reboot. It fails, and I have to use old backup...

[ Q ] Apps force closes when converted into system app

Hi,
Its not my problem but just I want to know, some apps works fine when in internal or external memory but when they either moved to system or installed in system, they force closes why???
Ex.
Chainfire 3D,
AVG,Dr.web antivirus etc
What can we do to works app fine......?

open apk file and search for libfiles,these must be copy to system/lib,set perm and reboot.

why don't you just push it to system/app? or make a flashable zip then flash all the apps that you want to become system apps.

What Doesn't Kill Makes Me AWESOME

Playstore not working help !

Hey guys, i'm having a problem with my google playstore , every time i search for an app it says app not found but the playstore itself works i can download apps from the featured center , but the search on google play is not working. I've changed 3 roms and the problem is still there. i cleared data and cache of the playstore and the problem still there. i cant get to fix it ANY ADVICE ?

Are you using updated GAPPS? Try re-flashing the current version of apps for your rom and seeing if that resolves your problem.

also are you using a different DPi with playstore? ie. Paranoid Android or Per App DPi with Xposed?

yes i have the latest gapps for slimbean rom thats the rom im using now

no , im using stock dpi

Did you try just reflashing the gapps? I had an issue during a flash once were my Google store installed & opened but wouldn't let me download anything new or verify any license for my paid apps; making then force close. Reflashing fixed my problem.

I haved flashed different gapps on different roms . the problem does not want to go away . i just use app brain market for my app search :/

A clean installation should resolve the issue, (clearing system, dalvik, data and cache) than reflash your ROM first followed by gapps before rebooting. If you're flashing a different kernel as well than first flash the ROM > Kernel > gapps and make site you clear your dalvik and cache before flashing gapps.

Return to stock and start fresh.

You returned to stock with odin and it still won't work? If you have then it's an issue with your Google account.

Try clearing all the cache for anything that has to do with google in your application manager. (ex - framwork services, play store, etc.)
