Hi guys,
I have a simple issue. My defy+ running the latest CM11 build by quarkx, has had its MAC address blacklisted by my office IT Team. I need to reset or spoof the MAC address to reconnect to the WiFi network.
I have tried the Pry-fi app by chainfire, and a few others, but none seem to work on the defy, while they're working perfectly well at this on other devices. Please let me know if there is an alternate solution to this, and if it has successfully worked for you in altering your MAC address.

Ive rooted using the cf auto root and installed busybox (I think it installed properly)
Downloaded Mac Address ghost,
entered in the mac address and it wont authenticate with the wifi network
Help please? / Other ways I could spoof it?

I had the need to spoof my mac in my s4 when recently bought, because mac filter in my home´s wi-fi so i download mac spoofer apps from google play, none work then, but this works https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.wireless.macchanger, obviusly rooted and busybox installed,
for permantly mac addres change:
my address is 00:1A:73:XX:XX:XX in stock roms, in custom roms or stock with custom kernel the mac change into 84:38:38:XX:XX:XX, i thought that was a flashing bug, but turns out to be that custom kernels read the mac addres different from stock kernels, stock kernels read the info from these two files using root explorer /efs/wifi/.mac.info and efs/wifi/.mac.info.bak the mac addres is storage there and editig those files with root explorer to the same mac writen correctly, rember both and delete /efs/wifi/.mac.info and efs/wifi/.mac.info.bak.bak if created, and flash a STOCK rom with odin the mac address will change permantly unless an efs backup is restored or flashing a custom kernel.
try this at your own risk if needed, and always, always make an efs backup first i recomend efs back up pro in xda windows tool, this is high risk procedure and can mess your wifi,

However, I flashed the rom CloudyG3 and following this, no access to WIFI... I've realized that my MAC address had changed (and I saw I 'wasn't alone in this case) ... So I did a new request for an access with the new MAC address, and it doesn't work ...

I was on MIUI8 rom before installing ED300's CM13 rom, and i noticed that everytime i would open my wifi my mac address would change. Can anyone pls help because the wifi im connected to has mac address filter. I googled everything but the spoofing mac address only works on Mediatek devices. I havent found anything that works for our phone
my lenovo a328 MiUi 6 mod. changes its mac address every time it reboots. how do i fix it? since my wifi network got a mac address filter, it is quite a hassle to change the configuration everytime it changes its mac address.
