my lenovo a328 MiUi 6 mod. changes its mac address every time it reboots. how do i fix it? since my wifi network got a mac address filter, it is quite a hassle to change the configuration everytime it changes its mac address.

I was on MIUI8 rom before installing ED300's CM13 rom, and i noticed that everytime i would open my wifi my mac address would change. Can anyone pls help because the wifi im connected to has mac address filter. I googled everything but the spoofing mac address only works on Mediatek devices. I havent found anything that works for our phone

Unless I am out of the look with networking but your MAC is static and doesn't change? Just like how you can get your MAC banned on Xbox.
I tried all I can. I had a backup and after restore voila Mac changed back. Probably some nasty bug.

In the past, I installed a custom ROM on my Nexus 4 phone, and theWiFi Mac address changed after every time the device was rebooted. Now I installed the main ROM on the phone, but after every time the phone is rebooted, Wifi mac address changes.

This problem is related to /persist partition. CHeck if your bluetooth MAC changes.
