just Recovery mode not working properly

Hi guys, I have been looking for this answer since yesterday... and nothing found.
Well, my problem is this: I can use my phone as normal, everyhing is good with normal boot, but if I enter the Recovery Mode 3e I can't do anything cause it says " E: can't mount /sdcard".

I have a Samsung Galaxy Y Pro GT-B5510, everything is as default, default ROM etc..
Things I have done with it: rooted it with update.zip; split the sdcard (2 partitions) 1for app and the other for media; installed the CWM of the market... but it didn't work correctly.
Sooooo, any help please? Idk what to do (and idk if I should do anything cause normal boot is working correctly)
Anyways, I want to install .zip by recovery mode and I can't like this

Wait for some time reinsert it
Go to stock recovery
Choose install zip from sd
N see whether it works or not
Copied signature

Try any other cwm

Yea, I thought so... the problem is that I can't install it with the currently Recovery, neither with the CWM of the market...
I should install it with the PC, is it possible? cause I haven't found that for my model of Samsung
I have a GT-B5510 (Samsung)

well, I've tried this one after searching the temporary CWM without anything good found.
I used another sdcard and It worked!
How is that possible?, is mine broken or something? then why am I able to use it with my cellphone turned on?
I think I know why this could be possible... do you remember this?

that may be... cause I did those 2 partitions with the pc and then linked my app's with link2sd
So.... how could I fix it without loosing any data and without formating again the sdcard?

Hi i hope u will help me i can not install any zip file from sd card in recovery mode.it was fine before but later i installed compact kernel on my phone samsung galaxy y duos after that my phone could not mount sd card.i did like before i put all kernel/rom on root of sd card through card reader and placed sd card in my phone before it used to work fine but now phone does not mount sd card in recovery mode.i have no data cable that is why i have not mount sd card via pc in usb debugging mode.if u have idea pls help me.
It does not show stock recovery only shows cmw recovery option

Recovery Mode problem
Guys got this problem from yesterday.Got this new update So I updated my Galaxy y after that I went to recovery mode and tried to install update.zip(the file which roots your phone)but there is no change I tried it again and again but no use I tried with CWM but also no use Changed the SD card also but I am not able to install anything from recovery mode as there is no change Hope you understand Have a lot of Hope on this thread And Hope you don't disappoint me

Hii first tell me is ur phone nt connecting to pc might be u have nt proper drivers
Search and download original drivers for ur modal then connect if its done try to reflash orignal stock rom via odin
Or if not wrk
Then if recovery or cwm open then factory data/reset and wipe cache+dalvik cache too..

thnks for reply, the thing is that my phone can't connect to pc not because of driver's ,,, because i can turn any thing on so my computer can reconize it !!! when i try to enter recovery mode it's goes for 3 senconds '' in that 3 seconds tje computer and odin recunize the devise '' after 3 sencond it turns off again like it can't complete the recovery mode i don't know why !!!!

U need to format ur phone from setting»privacy once phone correctly format its be fine..
Or if ur phone in warranty then dont late go to samsung sc now ....

If your friend installed a rom not meant for this phone, it might happen the /system or /boot images were installed to wrong place, messing up the phone. It would be a great help if you would link the rom your friend tried to install so I could see what is messed up.
If you can access pink screen, do you have the image/ folder with the boot.img and recovery.img?
By the way, if it is stuck on boot image, does it say anything in the PC? Like a device connected?

I think he tried to port a rom from Galay Ace and failed...
When i plug the phone in the PC (win7 - ultimate - 32bits) he try to install the drivers and fail...
The ADB drivers can't be installed...
But when he was intalling the recovery.img he did it with one file explorer, not plugin in the phone to the computer...

answer be patient
1st of all download b516 orginal rom and try to flash it when u do that all should be fine with recovery +/- and power then connect to pc replace recovery

But that's the problem!
When i go to pink screen to start the update he doesn't do anything...
And i can't go to recovery...

u need put dload on internal storage that 2gigs one.. and then just turn on phone to update itself.. u can try download ubuntu burn it on cd/dvd then u dont need to install it just open from cd then connect your device in pink mode mby ill see it

Can u be more specific?

Sure, what I mean is that ... linux is more like android than windows for example in much cases u dont need drivers to your device also file system is alike ex4 or other not ntfs ;P ,,, its worth tryin conecting it to Linux .... all u need is be patient and dont make stupid moves like throwin phone on wall (that not helps "tested on SE P1i")

Bricked my Life pure Xl 3Gb, Anyone can Helpme?

Hy Guys,
I have tryed to put the rom from Gionee Elife E7 on my Blu life pure XL. The installation occurs everything okay, but when i try to install the recovery, my phone reboot, and never more turn on again... I only can see the Gionee logo, but then shutdown after that. When i try to connect on the PC, just two drivers are showed to me:
-Gionee HS-USB Diagnostics (COM5)
-Qualcomm MMC Storage USB Device
I can enter in ADB mode, but i have no way to acess the internal storage...
Any help will be grateful...

when u installed the rom did the phone start up properly?

This look's bad man.
Try power on your phone then
Plugin into your computer.
Open adb then type adb devices
When your device is listed type adb reboot recovery
If IT doesn't boot in recovery mode then You should try flashing again the rom.
Something should work.

if you've got fastboot (power + vol -)
you can fastboot (sort of like an adb) flash some system images and get your phone getting recognised by gnqc
you need :
ADB
boot.img from blu rom
system1.img from blu
right click on folder where adb and files are (they need to be on same folder for faster tipying)
write
fastboot flash system system1.img
fastboot boot boot.img
after that unplug phone, you need the drivers for blu, change cable from pc port and reconect to see if now it's recognized as a pure xl and check for the drivers.
It should install 2 com ports (hsusb, nmea) 1 adb, 1 modem and 1 storage
that is what i did to mine, hope it works on yours

this helped me but now i have another problem phone starts up then reboots sometimes it reboots in the middle of starting up i can get into stock recovery but i have no idea what to do now

Ok now, you can use GNQC and flash the rom and that will completely restore your phone
NOw if only i could find the blu rom for a 16gb blu

funny thing is i did that and thats whats causing this boot loop i got into recovery after reset and still nothing
is there anything i can push using adb to solve this ?

ok well im going to try pushing the elife 7 stock recovery and see what happens
tried that all it says is installation aborted .....

You have to to try this,that is how i have unbricked mine today.
power off your phone.
prepare your gnqc so you only have to press download when needed.
power on your phone then conect fast to PC ,then press download.
If IT doesen't leț You ,pres again and just try to see If IT works in different situations.
is a long shot but this is how i unbricked mine today.
fastboot doesen't work on this device,so You can't push anithing. i don't know hou this people are doing that.

He can't use GNQC because his phone's drivers arent insatlled, gionee blocks com ports, and fastboot does work on this device, you just got to flash it, i've been using it several times

A thing to notice is when you want to acces phone storage when phone is bricked You have to poweroff your phone and keep pressing power and volume+ untill some errors start appear in windows.
then You have acces to phone memory and You can paste anithing for later flash with recovery. You must Be very carefull not to format partition when asked !!!!!!
i have bricked my gionee 32 gb several times and always been albe to restore it so,no need to panic,some method should work for You too ,just have to find the right one.
And also,my phone is a rebrand of gionee from Romania,called Allview x1 xTreme,just like life pure Xl and i haven't encountered any problem with usb drivers, just used the one gionee provided. So this mai Be the case for You, i hope i am not wrong with this one.
Com ports are only closed in android 4.4 kitkat so If he didn't update he should Be able to use gnqc.
also You must observe that phone is recognised differently by windows deppending in wich state your phone is. powered off,recovery,or on bootloop. So that's why o have said that gnqc may work but You have to find that state when he is recognised the way that gnqc wants.

I can give you some info on root and recovery, im also hoping for someone to be able to extract the 16blu life pure xl rom since the only one is for 32 gb
for root you can just use Vroot and then after installinh busybox and supersu you may erase it, for the recovery i've got the files just send me a pm and ill mail you the link

honestly it was a long time ago and i cannot remember what i did except it was a windows xp pc software wouldnt work on 7 and i used stock rom not the one from blu

reading on some onlines tutorials, i made a stupid move. i did a format (auto format flash - format whole flash except bootloader). the sp tool said succees.
then, my phone dead, even the red charging light not working. cannot turn on, cnt enter recovery..just DEAD.
to make the senario worst, now my windows not detecting the phone (UNKNOWN DEVICE)
did googled for solution, but cnt find any..what can i do now.thanks in advance

After hours spending to find the solution, finally i did it..
for those who having the same prob, here is the solution...
ONLY FOR ZTE BLADE Qlux 4G...........DO NOT TRY THIS ON 3G VERSION...U WILL NEED 3G VERSION FOR THAT....
sorry, i just found solution on russian firmware....but u can still change the language during setup..

What is required for the process (included in the link above, just download that):
1.1USB VCOM driver. (18.8mb)
2.The original (not custom) firmware. (1.05gb)
3.SP Flash Tool (57.2mb)
4. Bricked ZTE Blade Q Lux 4G
Instructions:
1. Install the USB VCOM driver.
2. Start Flash Tool Administrator (Flash_tool.exe in the program folder).
3. In the window that opens, click the Scatter-loading (on the right side of the program).
4. In the folder with the firmware, select the file MT6752_Android_scatter.
5. Make sure that the Flash Tool automatically put down the boxes next to all the firmware files. (Picture attached for manual upolad &reference)
6. Click the Download button in the Flash Tool.
7. Turn off your phone, then remove and reinsert the battery. (In our case, its already off, so u can skip this step)
8. Connect your phone to the PC and wait for the flashing process. (around 26 minutes, grab some coffee)
9. When Flash Tool window appears green circle, unplug usb cable, turn on the phone.
10. Enjoy your ZTE BLADE Q LUX 4G

3.SP Flash Tool (57.2mb)
4. Bricked ZTE Blade Q Lux 4G
Instructions:
1. Install the USB VCOM driver.
2. Start Flash Tool Administrator (Flash_tool.exe in the program folder).
3. In the window that opens, click the Scatter-loading (on the right side of the program).
4. In the folder with the firmware, select the file MT6752_Android_scatter.
5. Make sure that the Flash Tool automatically put down the boxes next to all the firmware files. (Picture attached for manual upolad &reference)
6. Click the Download button in the Flash Tool.
7. Turn off your phone, then remove and reinsert the battery. (In our case, its already off, so u can skip this step)
8. Connect your phone to the PC and wait for the flashing process. (around 26 minutes, grab some coffee)
9. When Flash Tool window appears green circle, unplug usb cable, turn on the phone.
10. Enjoy your ZTE BLADE Q LUX 4G

hi kavinraj88...thank for this stock rom but I have issues with intrnel storage running out...before I flash this stock rom I only have 2 storage that mean internel storage n sd card...but after flash this rom I have 3 storage, internel, phone storage n sd card...all my apps can't move to sd card its install to internet storage that only have 1gb...what can I do to solve this problem?

yeah..im too having 1gb plus internal memory..but im onlu having 2 storage option
1. internal / phone starage
2. external/sd card.
i cant help u in this issue..i just able to give live to the phone..mayb this march i will do some research on that since im quite buzy right now..any progress i will let u know..

hello there..
i own a ZTE Blade QLux.
reading on some onlines tutorials, i made a stupid move. i did a format (auto format flash - format whole flash except bootloader). the sp tool said succees.
then, my phone dead, even the red charging light not working. cannot turn on, cnt enter recovery..just DEAD.
to make the senario worst, now my windows not detecting the phone (UNKNOWN DEVICE)
did googled for solution, but cnt find any..what can i do now.thanks in advance

Did you flash any ROM.?

yes..now im running on lewa os.. u can find it in the same link given at the top of the post..hope it helps..

Recovery from pdanet worked. But sdcard0 is not detecting.
Anyways thanks for taking your time to upload file.
Have you tired xposed installer ?
Do you mind showing me some screenshot.

Any tips on how to connect the phone to PC?
My PC just doesn't want to recognize my phone
Tried several ZTE drivers but they all didn't work

Hi, I followed this guide
The phone went brick for some weird reason, tried flashing as instructed and the phone is back again
Unfortunately the imei seems to be missing (can't even detect my simcards)
Anyway I can restore them back?

yes..u can use Maui META Tool or MTK Engineer Mode (play store)..both works...btw, im not using the phone anymore...sold it..

S3 neo hard bricked plz help

Hello there can you help me
My device got hardbricked by accidentally flashing s4 firmware..
I made my sd card as a usb jig(created by win32 disk manager), thanks to XDA posts. Then I used odin to flash s3 firmware . Odin shows no any errors .after sucess flash mobile go upto samsung logo ,then it get struck & show a blue screen for a second then it goes restarting.
Plz help I even tried PIT partion procedure,Nand erase ,
Inserting a bootloader it always give me same result
And when I removed sd card it show black screen wont even on.if I insert sd card s3 will be alive again.

?Have you used any custom recovery? Like TWRP or CWM or Philz?

Hard bricked means a dead phone, so you will have to change the board.
Using the SDCard as a portable Nand isn't practical, you should replace the board eventually..

Sir your help will be appreciated.
I have downloaded them all for GTI9300I. But I donot know the correct procedure.
I created debrick disk image when I inserted that to phone it ill show samsung logo .then I do the wipe & factory rest .then I connect odin then I flash the rom.it get boot up to samsung logo it get restarted.
Also when I remove my sd card it will be dead again (no respond screen totally blacked ,couldnt do without sd card)
Please will you help me to correct me if im wrong .
is it wrong with sd card im using 2gb card which is not sandisk and not class 10
I have even pit file but donot know what to do
I do these above produres using stock recovery mode . I got twrp flash file also but I have no idea what to do
Please guide me & i will take total responsibility im tired of my s3
