[Q] dissapointing battery life i9506 - Galaxy S 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi all
I've come to XDA to see if anyone can help me squeeze more life out of this great phone. So let's get down to it.
What I have done so far:
Installed Google play edition ROM
Removed bloatware
Greenified everything
Installed Ktoonesz latest kernel and applied his own settings.
Is there any other modifications I can make to get more?
Thanks

What is the serial number of your battery?

If it starts with bd you got a defective battery and needs replacement for free under warranty
If it is aa then you have the new treated battery.

Anyone notice Samsung Cloud Sync uses Mobile Data?

From the looks of it, it has used in 5 days around 28MB. It's not much, but it clearly says that it will start syncing after 1 hour when connected to the wall charger and when in wi-fi!
Anyone else notice that?
How do you check?

Aha, yeah, mine also keeps adding a few KB every day but, the first day it used 28MB!
Still, it says ONLY wifi, why does it use network data?

How to enable Wi-Fi channel 14 ?

Do you seriously want your phone get messed up everytime you use microwave? ?
14 is only allowed in Japan in the consumer space the fact that people are abusing channels they are not allowed to use is making the government want to fine creators that allow someone in the wrong region to use a non consumer space channel.
Although they are suppose to be fining the individual but I guess in apartments that are so crowded they can't track it down or there to lazy?

S8 Wireless Charging

I just bought the Samsung Wireless Fast Charging Pad but notice that it only charges 12% after 30 minuets meaning a full charge will take up 4-5 hours! Is this acceptable? I use the original charger that comes with the S8.
No it's not. Return it and get a new one. Also, you are using the Samsung cable too right ?

I use the Samsung cable that comes with the wireless charger and the phone shows fast charge during charging. I'll try one more time and if there's no improvement, I'll return it..
of course return it. I get it to 100% in under 3h with Choetech charger on a regular charge (no fast charge activated)
