From the looks of it, it has used in 5 days around 28MB. It's not much, but it clearly says that it will start syncing after 1 hour when connected to the wall charger and when in wi-fi!
Anyone else notice that?
How do you check?

Aha, yeah, mine also keeps adding a few KB every day but, the first day it used 28MB!
Still, it says ONLY wifi, why does it use network data?

Okay so I have this metro card from Taiwan and whenever I place it against the back of my phone or if I rub it against my phone while my phone is on and unlocked my phone gives a little chime does anyone know what it exactly is and how to disable it?
Just to clarify the metro card is like a little sensor that you place on a small pad not a typical credit card no stripes the whole thing is basically a sensor
I was going to upload a picture but it doesn't seem to be working at the moment

Most likely the NFC chime.

Oh, and to disable NFC go to settings - wireless and networks - more - uncheck NFC.

I had my nexus 4 replaced and it was a 303k but not the replacement doesn't have the little feet at the bottom of the phone. I have no box that tells me what the s/n number is. Is there any way to tell without the box?

If what you mean by serial number is IMEI, you can tell it by pressing *#06#
go to settings -> about phone -> status gives both s/n & imei

I have a 303 also and mine doesn't have the little bumps either. Only had my phone for a week. New from google.

I just looked at both, box and phone, and the serial number on the box starts with 303... but s/n shown on phone status is not the same serial number. imei number is the same. wierd....

If its a 303 it should have the bumps. That's odd. And the s/n in the settings doesn't show the revision. Either that or I'm just confused.

Its not really even in the same format. This is the format for the s/n on the box of the one that got stolen.

Yes, rather confusing that there are different serial numbers on the box and internal in settings. But, like I said, brand new from google, and no bumps on the back.
Hi all
I've come to XDA to see if anyone can help me squeeze more life out of this great phone. So let's get down to it.
What I have done so far:
Installed Google play edition ROM
Removed bloatware
Greenified everything
Installed Ktoonesz latest kernel and applied his own settings.
Is there any other modifications I can make to get more?
Thanks
What is the serial number of your battery?

If it starts with bd you got a defective battery and needs replacement for free under warranty
If it is aa then you have the new treated battery.

Do you seriously want your phone get messed up everytime you use microwave? ?
14 is only allowed in Japan in the consumer space the fact that people are abusing channels they are not allowed to use is making the government want to fine creators that allow someone in the wrong region to use a non consumer space channel.
Although they are suppose to be fining the individual but I guess in apartments that are so crowded they can't track it down or there to lazy?

I just bought the Samsung Wireless Fast Charging Pad but notice that it only charges 12% after 30 minuets meaning a full charge will take up 4-5 hours! Is this acceptable? I use the original charger that comes with the S8.
No it's not. Return it and get a new one. Also, you are using the Samsung cable too right ?

I use the Samsung cable that comes with the wireless charger and the phone shows fast charge during charging. I'll try one more time and if there's no improvement, I'll return it..
of course return it. I get it to 100% in under 3h with Choetech charger on a regular charge (no fast charge activated)
