If I have a missed call or unread text the LED notification light doesn't light up.
If I go settings -> display -> LED indicator -> notifications all options are ticked.
Is there another setting I'm missing ?
The LED does light up if I reboot the phone, so I think the hardware is okay.

Hiya All,
I have two questions regarding the Jam led:
1. In normal operation the LED flashes under green color around each 7 seconds. Is there anyway to shorten the interval to around 4 seconds ?
2. When an appointment is secheduled, the notification window pop ups and display the appointment detials. After I'm dismissing the notification window, the LED still flashes with yellow color and only SR can resume the LED to its green light. Is there any way after dismissing the appointment to resume the LED to green light again ?
Thanks in advanced,
Bright Star
hehe i can't even see the difference between these two colors.
flashing blue would be nice
1. There's no way of changing the flashing interval.
2. Check your settings under Sounds & Notifications - Reminders - Flash light for...
Thanks for the interval info...
However, when I'm going into notification settings and removing the flash list for missed calls or new sms messages, after approving the new settings, it's always coming back to default.
Any ideas how to fix this ?
Thanks in advance,
Bright Star
default to what?
Defualt to flash light and notification on the Start line...
Anyway to remove all notifications such as missed calls, incoming sms and voice mail from the Start line ?
Tia,
Bright Star
Yeh mine seems to sometimes get 'stuck' on flashing the orange light, even if you've dismissed the alert. It does it for some SMS's when on vibrate mode, and some reminders on normal mode.
You can fix SMS's by going into Sounds & Notifications, clicking the 2nd tab then ok. I've found no way to fix it for reminders other than SR.
Annoying!
Noone found why the led can't be flashing any faster?
I have an XDA II from O2, ROM 1.72.00WWE, Radio 1.17.00, Pocket PC 4.20.0, built 14053 and I have the following issue:

Hey guys,
Does anyone know if there is an option to turn on the indicator light when you have a new text message or voice mail? I see the phone has a amber/green light and was wondering if there is a way to make it blink a certain color when you have a message waiting..
Thanks
Tap: Start < Settings < Sounds & Notifications < Notifications(tab)
Then select the event you want to change (SMS, missed call etc.) and check the box 'Flash light for'
thanks... I ended up getting it to work but I had to use NueLed to disable the signal light first for it to work... I dont know why but that was my only way of getting it to flash the amber light.
thats because you wanted it to flash a nonstandard color right? i know a lot of roms already due this when you make the system change above.
It seemed like when the Green service light was active it was not allowing the text message indicator to go on... not sure but after disabling it worked.
Hi,
I'm using Paranoid Android and I've set the notification LED to blink red. It seems that apps can override this setting and set the color they want for their notifications, since Facebook for example blinks in blue... I had Facebook set to blink in blue in the past but I've deleted that setting and unchecked "use custom settings", so it should use the default color now... Is this a bug? However, SMSes blink in the default color...
Please help.
Please let me know how to enable notification LED, ie use LED to notify me about new messages/calls.
Active Display
I believe you will find the settings under the active display menu. Hope this helps..

I checked but could not find anything related there
Hi!
The setting is located under System Settings --> Display --> Notification light. You will find there the option to enable/disable the notification light for missed calls and voicemail, plus the ability to create/personalize new notification light alerts for your other apps.
