[Q] change kernel nexus 7

hi i'm stape and i'm new for this forum and i have this question.
i put on my nexus7 the trinity kernel but the tablet overheats on the retro, and i want to change to standard kernel.
how can i return to standard kernel??
thanks for the answers
What ROM? Or are you on Stock? If on Stock the way i can think of is finding an AOSP rom and flashing the boot.img? Should have made a nandroid before flashing. You could also try using Franco Kernel.. its just like stock and his app is great.
i have a cyanogen 11 and i have changed original kernel with the trinity kernel but i want returned to original kernel
how i can do it??

You should still have the zip correct? Just boot into recovery wipe cache and dalvik. And reflash the ROM and gapps. Reboot and you'll be running the stock kernel.

[Q] crDroid and Kernel

I put crDroid (Build 4) in my nexus 4 and change kernel to ak113, ak122, faux019b04m and Enhanced Stock Kernel but other reboot I lost signal...try to reboot..and got boot loop... How to resolve this problem?
You probably flashed a JWR kernel in a JSS rom or viceversa. Try checking with which kernel is crDroid compatible (probably JSS)

Have you flashed 4.3 Bootloader&Radio?

yes: Radio .84 and Bootloader z20i
I do not know well your policy on the UP, but since I have less than 10 posts I can't do anything to ask here, and for me it's important.

[Q] will installing custom ROM overwrite custom kernel?

Sorry this is a total newb question
I currently have stock ROM with Franco kernel.
I would like to try out CM and have downloaded the zip file and copied it to my sdcard partition to install using CWM..
If I install the custom ROM, will the Franco kernel remain intact or will it be overwritten?
If it will be overwritten, what steps do I need to do to install the Franco kernel again? (Can I simply install CM and right after that the Franco kernel (both using CWM?))
Thanks
Yes it'll overwrite Franco kernel. To get it back after flashing cm, you simply flash Franco kernel again.

Don't think so.

It will overwrite your kernel and replace it with the roms built in kernel.

OTG support in Android L

I have flashed Android L b3p3 . I have tried to read the original thread for help but its so messed up there.I guess hellscore kernel is working with otg support. Can someone explain me the process how to flash the kernel ? There is some boot.img stuff i cannot understand.

I doubt KitKat kernels will work without some ramdisk changes. You may have to wait for our kernel devs to release a L Preview version.
I'm with Android L running in my nexus 4, but i have tested hellscore and helldoctor kernell and anyone support otg or maybe i have done something wrong. Do you know anything about the theme?
Thanks.

First flash lrx21t-permissive-boot , then flash hells doctor kernel's latest version for android l then flash universal kernal manager. Then install synapse. In misc of synapse enable otg. Thats it

I'm afraid that without an external power source you won't be able to connect that device to your Nexus 4 regardless of ROM/Kernel combination. The Nexus 4 doesn't put out a high enough voltage to power an external device without a power input!
