hi (hope its the right place for this question)
i installed 4.4 stock google dialer on my g2 (d802) running stock lg's KK rom (i'm rooted but didnt change rom and recovery). the thing is, that it shows me only the last call made/received, and not the frequently called/favorites. i also installed contact providor APK (didnt install, put it in priv-app), and still only the last call is shown.
perhaps i should set different permissions to the contact provider? maybe something else?
it's driving me crazy, and LG's stock dialer is awful!!!!
thanks so much, any help will be appreciated!

Hey guys, first post in the forums but long time reader..
I recently installed the stable version of Kitkat Hellfire on my Ls980 and loved it until I couldn't make any calls or send texts. I was able to use the network for games, email etc.. but no calls or texts would go through. When trying to update the PRL I got "Network Error, Invalid MMI"
Can someone explain to me what happened or how how I can fix it? I've looked everywhere but nothing seems to do it.
Im about to flash back to stock and re-do everything but this will be the third time :/
Any help would be appreciated.
I don't know if I'm the only one, but after updating to the stock KK ROM (AndroidUser00110001 rooted), the phone loses the capability of sending-receiving SMS. No matter what app I use won't work, and all I get is the "Unfortunately, (App X) has stopped" error. I have to go back to Jelly Bean to get the SMS working again.
My D800 is unlocked, working in another carrier (Movistar)
Anybody else with the same problem?

my friend,
you have a good number of posts in your pocket and not a noob.....this is a development section and you have posted what deserves a good search or at the worst case scenario a Q&A section
Please request the MODs to move this...
Thanks for the understanding
You are right... This is posted in the wrong section... Please mod move this to the Q&A.
So? Nobody else?
Hi,
I bought a AT&T LG G2 on swappa which I am using on Straight Talk and all is well except a few glitches. I haven't used a ROM'ed phone in a while since my last phone was a locked RAZR HD so forgive me if I am a bit rusty. The previous owner had installed the 1plus1 v 1.0 build with the 3.4.0-CM+ Kernel. Every hour or so the screen stops responding and I have to restart the phone which can be frustrating since my job requires frequent calls.
I am looking to switch to the Cloudy G3 ROM (or another one you guys recommend that is the least buggy). Do I have to do anything besides a full wipe and install the Kitkat baseband then install the Cloudy zip? I have done a nandroid backup (or whatever the equivalent is called on this phone) in case something goes wrong. Also, what is the best way to backup my call logs when I switch ROMs? I have Titanium but not sure which thing to restore.
Thanks
Rms
ON a similar note, I got a att version running CM11 and would like to switch to Cloudy G3 as well. Anything I should be concerned about? Or its a straightforward flash? Thnx.

Hello all! I'm running the AICP 5.0.2 Lollipop ROM on my
Sprint SGN3, and for the most part it works great. My only real
problem now is with my voicemail app. The AICP ROM didn't
come with one so I ended up downloading and installing
the. apk for the stock sprint voicemail app. That done, I installed it and
called it but no notification ever came through. Also, there is no "phone" button on the bottom of the app, probably because
there is no message to call or listen to. I've tried adjusting the
ro.product.device, name and model but still nothing. What am I missing here? I'm really diggin this ROM but need that voicemail
working!!!! Any and all help would be greatly appreciated!!!!!
Thanks in advance!!
Hi everyone. Sorry if I've went about this the wrong way, but hope someone can help me or point me in the right direction. I have a Verizon Note 3 with lollipop 5.0 OF1 and it is rooted with arabictool. I am trying to get the Google dialer installed but haven't had any success except for one older version ( 1.01 ) I found. It says installed but does not create an icon and also after install , the only option is to tap DONE.... the open button is greyed out. All other versions say not installed. Can someone please help me please. If this is not possible , is there any way I can get exposed installed so that I can change the colors on the stock TouchWiz dialer? I would really like to install exposed.
