I have another battery cannot be charged by the wall charger via the Prophet, need to buy a separate desk charger to charge the battery independently.
While using this battery it shows "Unknown" of the battery status instead of a percentage. Also, sometimes my Prophet get white screen only after turned on. (pls see attached screenshot)
What can I do ?
When I use the original battery, it can be charged by the wall charger via the Prophet and it shows the percentage of the battery while charging and using.
Thanks!
is like the attached screen while using my battery, somehow it resumes to normal after couples of minute, but this problem will happen again if I turn off and turn on the screen.
my phone is showing charging without the power cord and when i powered down it shows the battery charge icon. ican only turn on with cord attached. what happened and what can i do.

Right when I got my nexus 7, I charged it. Its been sitting at 96% still charging since 1pm. Its 3pm now. 2 hours at 96%?
Is this normal? Anyone else get this?
You charging via a USB port or mains power?
Charging via man power
Its still stuck at 96%
Your top bar may be "stuck" mine would display the incorrect time and battery info.

but lock screen still says charging 96%. and when I turn the device off while still charging, it still has a tiny bit left that it shows is filling up on the battery bar
Hi, i bought a Droid Razr M with cracked screen to fix my bricked one. I put the motherboard from the new one and the screen and other things from the old one together. I tried to use both batteries. New combined phone works, boots up, but the problem is charging. When i plug it in charger when turned off, it looks like it started to charge, but when the screen turns off, it looks like it stopped to charge. When it boots, it looks like on the picture. Battery shows always 2% (old one) or 1% (new one). It sometimes connects to PC and ADB. The strange thing is that when I put it into fastboot, it says batteryk and it let me flash the new ROM. When booted up, there's notification "connected in factory mode" and "CommServer started"
What can I do? Is it hardware or software problem? Thanks
It's maybe hardware(?). I believe CommServer is a factory recovery tool which is also connected to CQA_Test to run diagnostics.
But the fastboot says
Code:
battery:ok
even when it's not connected to PC
Have you tried to restore factory firmware?
Yes, flashed kitkat fxz
Is there any method, how to get the real battery state? Because it doesn't discharge (from the 2%), even when unplugged.

Simple Battery Logger is a nice little app.
Are you able to run CQA Test?
EDIT:
Code:
adb shell
dumpsys battery
Yes. There is screen, vibrator, sensor etc. test. Battery test says connected do USB (the settings app says connected to unknown). Batery level is corresponding to system - 3%
Code:
dumpsys battery
Current Battery Service state:
AC powered: false
USB powered: true
Wireless powered: false
status: 1
health: 2
present: true
level: 3
scale: 100
voltage: 3486
current now: -2700
charge counter: -21
temperature: 286
technology: Li-ion

So it seems, that fastboot doesn't get the battery info properly... it's really low. Problem is, that I can't get it to charge

status:1 = UNKNOWN - which leads me to believe it's a hardware problem. (Charging Port(?))
=%So it takes power from charger, but do not charge battery. Could you say, where is the broblem? I think I could go to service and let it replace.

Do you think so? Because it gets power from charger, otherwise it would be completly dead, after that all, what i have done with it (at the begginning the battery level on both batteries cca 4%, now 3% and 2%
Does both batteries have the same results? When plugged in while off does it ever go to the charging animation? Does the led stay green when plugged in while off for a moment like 30 seconds+?

Both batteries have same results. It goes to charging animation, but when the screen turns off then, it stops to charge (no green led)
SO:
-it takes power from charger (otherwise the battery would be dead now)
it takes power from battery (the phone works without battery)
-BUT it doesn't charge
--Where is the problem? Are the same pins in Micro USB used for giving power directly to motherboard as to charge battery?
Are you switching the entire back piece, did you use a heat gun and remove the battery from the back or pry it out? there is two pressure contacts toward the top next to the back speaker does it appear the logic board makes good contact with them... So the led doesn't even flash not even for a second

Green led lights, but only before the screen turns on and shows charging animation. I'll have a look at the pressure contacts.
EDIT:
The pressure contects are for NFC
Yea your right I just pulled the battery off the back...I was hoping it would be like the droid 4... I'll take another look at my working one... And fully de-assemble my broken one... It seems like its getting power but its not getting to the battery

SO, do you thing that replacing USB port will fix it? Or what?
Did you pry the batteries off the backs...or anything like that that would damage the batteries... With the led lighting up before it goes to the charging animation leads me to believe the USB is ok... It may be somewhat faulty but the green led means that the phone recognized the charger, the battery is very low and needs to charge the battery some before going to the charging animation but it seams that its not letting it do that... You flashed kk to it so its getting a good enough connection for that... For me it sounds like the batteries are defective some how or maybe the logic board got damaged somehow when the prior owner broke the screen... I would let it sit on the charger while off over night for quite a while like 6-10 hours before doing anything drastic like changing the USB port... I would use the one from your brick being as you know it worked before..

So definitely no charging. I don't thing that the batteries are damaged. I thing I was able to charge them little bit with the bricked motherboard. The problem must be somewhere on new motherboard. But where? I thing it won't be easy.

This morning I discovered that my phone did not charge overnight. When switched on and plugged in the battery icon flickers several times a second between charging and discharging.
When switched off the white charging icon displays initially as you'd expect and the phone does charge.
I've tried different chargers/cables.
Any suggestions?
Have you tried reflashing your ROM and Kernel? Try playing around with the fast charge setting (Toggle it).
