Since like 2 days ago it seems that I have lost some of the birthdays from my device contacts - not all, just most of those
That was probably the most important way I was using S-Planner (plus some public-holidays calendars), so I am now looking into using some other app (like Birthday Calendar) but before doing that I wonder if that is just some very stupid bug from S-Planner (or something else related to it, like in Contacts?) which has a simple workaround that I did not find
You have to edit the birthday in contacts so it will not show the year.

So something happened today after a power cycle, i lost all my facebook contacts under my contact page. In the end its not that big of a deal becuase i believe i backed them all up to google... I did however enjoy the ability to use the updates tab under everyones name before calling them so i was up to date. I also liked having the up to date pics of them via facebook. So i double checked and made sure facebook was still syncing everything under the contacts, and it was. However everyones facebooks contact is just outright gone now. Not just missing pictures or not displaying updates... gone.
I cant seem to find a way to reenable this. Any ideas?

I was showing my cousin (iphone user) how cool that was but it was missing.

This happened to me also. Resynchronizing them doesn't seem to do anything. It sucks. I thought that I could go into Groups under contacts and add them all again, but there isn't any option to add contacts to the preexisting groups. That's actually the only part of TouchWiz that's really pissed me off so far. It would be great if someone could figure out how to fix this.
Do you think the update to Facebook caused this?

See at first i thought it might have had something to do with the facebook update. but i had not updated my facebook at the time. I hage since then thinkinkijg it would fix the problem, but it has not helped at all.
Contacts are still MIA for me at this point. Anyone got ideas?

Lost all Facebook contacts? That sounds more like a feature than a bug
Looks like everytime i flash a new rom, google calendar will only sync the last month or 2 of my appointments.
Is there a way to sync ALL items to my N1?
I jump ROMs quite a lot, but don't seem to have any probs? Perhaps it's something you're doing?

ive been having same problem, would like to find solution
Anyone?
Is there a way to.force sync everything?
I just purchased the GS3 and love it! I did a sync with my facebook app and only added with existing contacts but it now shows ALL my facebook friends. Is there a way to fix this? Also the pictures that sync from facebook to this phone are all pixelated and not clear like on my Sensation. Besides that, this phone is awesome! Is there anyway to fix these isses?

Use haxsync app. Its not free but works the best. after install go to settings> account and sync, then sync contacts. When you use this make sure to delete the Facebook syncing so it doesn't conflict with it. You will still find some duplicate with haxsync but not as many and you can join duplicate ones. This is the closest were gonna get to HTCs fb contact migration. And the contact pics are higher resolution.

If you want to use the sync feature through the Facebook app, the only way I have found for it not to add ALL contacts, is to use an older version. 1.8.1 is the newest one I have found where "sync with existing" actually works. Still going to be pixelated though. If you don't want it pixelated I would suggest an app like the one suggested above or something like syncmypix.

I use Facebook contact Sync. You can choose the size of the contact pictures, sync all or only existing, and it's free. It also updates statuses for your contacts.

Hi guys,
I was playing around with my Nexus. Saw that the syncing my contacts has been an issue. The actual contacts syncs pretty well, but this bug is sorta annoying me. Anyone know how to fix it or have this issue? I attached it. See how the Contacts part is 4-5 days apart. But my other ones are from today.
I have the same problem. Its been broken for me since late January. If you clear contact data it will sync back just fine. After that it will go back to being stuck.
It seems to only be happening with the Nexus 4 as my Nexus 7 and Xoom with 4.2.2 sync fine.

So backup your contact and then upload it to
www.google.com/contacts/
your all contact will be merged.
@zeuscluts
Does it fix the bug?
Like I said the actual contacts sync well, but this bug is annoying as hell.

So I rooted earlier today :good: (Thanks to the amazing people of the ROOT GODS) :good: and now I keep getting a sync issue of "To many Calender deletes" and "To many Contacts deletes". Has anyone else experienced this? It is asking me to: Delete the items, undo the items, do nothing for now. I have a lot in my Google calender for specific reasons and cannot delete this info. any ideas??????
Anyone???

This may have worked just in case anyone else has the same issue. I went into accounts and uninstalled my Google account. Then added it back and haven't had the same issue as of yet. Looked around on other forums and I believe it has something to do with deleting contacts then Google and the phone not having the same contacts....kinda how I took it anyways.
