Flash my HD2 with CyanogenMod 7 Nightly v3.1. it works for awhile but after a few restarts on my phone, the data stop working. Dont know what happens but it just stop working completely. Only works on Wifi though. Had everything updated like Radio but still the same. Tried other builds but still the same. Anyone has the same problem?
Appreciate all the Help Needed! Thanks in advance! =|
Go to Settings>Wireless & networks>Mobile networks>Access Points Name. If hou do. ot see your carrier listed there hou will have to set up your APN settings.
settings everything are all correctly set with APN but still the same..data not connecting..hmm..
Enable flight mode. Then disable it. You'll have to do this routine every time this bug happens.
Hello guys, after I flashed a custom rom my phone went into a bootloop. I decided to flash stock , via odin. After I flashed the stock rom for my region (open european) I got many FC messages , the phone was unusable.
I started digging and flashing roms. Now I have i9505xxugng8 which is a nordic country rom.
When I try to open wifi , the button gets green for one second but then it stays deactivated.
1. Tried to remove battery
2.Tried to delete the wpa_supplicant.conf file from /data/misc/wifi or /system/etc/wifi
3.Tried the non-hos bin.
Nothing worked. I'm desperate.

Try this steps
1. Rooted ! Open root explorer > System > Build.prop change this in the build.prop:
ro.securestorage.support=true TO ro.securestorage.support=false Save , Reboot
2. Either flash a diff kernel.
Have a nice day.
Hello repulsa, i Tried your method but it didn't work
It may be a hardware problem? But I've never dropped it
Tried hard reset?
Send from my Galaxy S4 using Tapatalk
Yes I tried.
Problem solved , I flshed a cm11 based rom with a custom kernel and everything works

I think you should fully wipe in the custom recovery before flashing the stock rom with Odin.

i might try this however.. im having trouble with the bluetooth and not on the wifi toggle/module. are you using the M9 build or the nightlies?
The Wi-Fi problem is knox related , I don t think switching go cm11 would solve the Bluetooth problem.
Now I'm using the latest version of miui and works well.

I also have this problem. Went from CM11 to stock (GF was supposed to use the phone and preferred stock...).
And now, no wifi, tried most things, checked build.prop, deleted wpa_supplicant, pulled battery, cleared cache.
Nothing works.
I'd be ok with going back to CM11, but the S-View cover won't work with it.
Any more ideas?

I don't think this is your problem, but just to put this out there in case other people stumble upon the thread....
This can be caused by using a custom kernel in a CM11 based ROM that was built after about August 3rd (give or take a few days)
CM changed the way the Wifi and data are managed by the kernel. So older customer kernels aren't compatible.

Solved my issue...
Booted to recovery, wiped data and cache, booted straight to Download mode, flashed stock rom, booted straight to recovery, wiped data and cache again, booted, profit.
Wi-Fi not going on / bootloops (SOLVED)

1) Flash Wifi fix/NON-HLOS from this post. See here how to flash a modem.
2) Solved those FC / Bootloops problem flashing that KT-SGS4 Kernel.
3) See here how my same Wi-Fi / Bootlop problems were all solved.
I am using an I337M S4 on an Alaskan carrier and I am running into the same issue with all Cm12 builds. After sending an MMS, I lose my data until I delete the MMS message. It happens whenever someone tries to send one to me as well. I am on NC1 baseband, using latest Philz, doing a complete wipe before every flash. I have googled this, as well as searched the forums, but I have found no good answer. Has anyone run into this and managed to fix it?
*update* MMS works on stock and GPE lollipop. It will not work on any CM based rom, not even unified 4.4.4 (even though it used to). I have Odin flashed the stock firmware to see if it fixed anything, alas, nothing. Does not seem to work on SlimLP as well. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I do enjoy stock and GPE, but would like some of the customization of CM.
Bump, because I need a little love on this.
I was having the same issue, different network though (ATT). I just tested to make sure this worked before I posted:
1. Make sure your APN settings are correct, and you've selected the correct APN from the list
2. Delete all unused APNs. I actually deleted all but the one I'm using.
After that, I was able to send/receive MMS without losing my data every time. Hope this helps.
Hi
Ill try to be as detailed as possible
I was running XXUGNJ8 rooted on my GT-I9505 with no problems (latest in my region (NEE)), and i decided to try Google Play edition 5.0.1. rom ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2557353 )
To do this i flashed CWM 6,0,44 (if i remember correctly), installed the rom zip file via CWM. I selected Googy_Anas Kernel.
The problem now is, i cannot use my mobile data? Ive tried all, manually selecting APN etc.
Ive also Reflashed the XXUGNJ8 modem Both 2g/3g and 4g version TWICE in a row.
Yet i still cannot use my Mobile Data??...
I can text, receive calls etc with no problems. Also my wifi works fine.
Btw:
2 Other problems, if any1 know how to fix
1. When i tried calling using headset, the call kept ending itself randomly, and the media volume turned up to like 8 from 1. (ouch.)
2. The Volume seems to be louder??? When i lisent to music at volume lvl 1 it sounds more like 3-4 when i was running Kitkat 4.4.2 (XXUGNJ8).
SOLVED!!!:
I still have the 2 Volume problems, but i fixed my network!
I found this post http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s4/help/cyanogenmod-11-roaming-problem-t3070696
The second post by Kanzari fixed my problem. - The weird thing is that my carrier specifies NOTHING about MVNO type settings, and i mean nothing. Anyway, have a look if u have the same problem.
Still looking for solution to the volume problem, so if any1 knows id appreciate it
Over the last several days, I've noticed I don't have any data connectivity on my LS980, running CM12. I'm on the ZV8 radio.
Things worked fine a few days ago--I'm not really sure when it stopped working, maybe when I installed the most recent nightly (150505)? I've tried toggling roaming on and off, wiping things, reinstalling, rolling back to both CM11 and the nightly where I knew it worked (150405), all without any luck.
I can make calls and text, and wifi works just fine, but I've got no data service at all.
Any suggestions on how to troubleshoot? I'm happy to do some digging, but I don't really know where to start!
Did you figure this out
Im having this issue also
Yeah, it ended up being that some of my radio settings were jacked. If I remember right, I switched Preferred Network type from CDMA/EvDo/GSM/WCDMA to CDMA + LTE/EvDo.
And then it started working.

I guess my settings got messed up also during my latest nandroid backup.
I had another working backup......So I just flashed the old working backup, then flashed the Data only from the non working backup restore.
