Every time I use the Airplane mode on my G900F it will not automatically switch to Wifi mode when is turn off the airplane mode.
I have selected the trusted wifi locations. Any suggestions?.

Very interested! Coz I have poor signal reception inside my home (signal is worse than -100Dbm and sometimes vanishes at all) and basically I don't need cell-connection sometimes. So, how should I act to temporally disable cell-module? Airplane mode doesn't suit me coz I need working Wi-Fi connection, but Airplane mode turns everything off. All I need is only Wi-Fi enabled to preserve battery power. Help me please.
However I found solution myself. Look for OneClick Widget on the Market. It allows to keep WiFi on even when changing to Airplane mode, also it allows to toggle WiFi when in Airplane mode.
not sure if this should be asked in general discuss or the q&a section so yeah...
I wanted to refresh my WiFi signal on my tablet so I put it to airplane mode, but accidently i slid the wifi back on WITH airplane mode still active. so... basically I'm running on both airplane and WiFi at the same time?
** seems Bluetooth,NFC,Location and GPS can all be turned on without deactivating the airplane mode.....
usually airplane mode shuts off all data and or radio frequencies on a device right? so what's the point of airplane mode? on a WiFi only device?
sent from xda headquarters.... no lie
In theory - airplane mode should switch off all transmitters.
I typically do that on my cell phone, then enable wifi for use in my house.
I view Airplane mode as a Master Off, with individual services able to be turned on even if it is in Airplane Mode.
Its always been so. Airplane maode turns off the radio, not wifi, bluetooth and so on. the confusion occures because our current generation devices usually have same chips and antenna for them.
Basically, radio signals emitted from cellphone can alter/affect the reading in airplane(and other things that run on radio, bt wifi, bluetooth run on far different frequency waves and thus are allowed in aviation and thus not controlled by airplane mode.
I have a Huawei G510-0200 GSM/CDMA support with CM11 custom rom.
I have no problem with call/sms/radio but my network data enabled (settings->mobile networks->data enabled) works only for a few minutes after rebooting the system or on/off airplane mode.
After 10-20 minutes i loose data enabled (it is ticked but not works!) and i have to on/off airplane mode again.
Also i have a correct APN from network provider.
How can i fix the problem?
this has been very vexing mainly because I don't know how to craft the google-fu to get beyond "no wifi in air plane mode".
Basically, when you turn on airplane mode it disables wifi. You can then enable it an all is good. However, for me it appears that when you disconnect from a wifi network in airplane mode the wifi network can no longer be connected. Once you turn airplane mode the wifi network comes back up but if you enable it the wifi network is gone. Other wifi networks are still there in both modes but just not the one you forgot.
Using wifi analyzer the wifi network is still being detected by the phone but the phone won't connect.
Any thoughts on how to solve this one?
For future readers it appears that if you run into this issue you can turn off airplane mode connect and then turn airplane mode on again and it will work. Sometimes. This is my solution until I can figure out what the heck is actually happening.
Can someone help me with this problem? Everytime I toggled Airplane Mode or even when it's toggled already it won't work at all especially the WiFi connection..
