Hi,
is there anyway to control vibration intensity? It is annoyingly strong for me? My current Resurrection Remix ROM doesn't have option to control it. Thanks for your help
Anyone?
If you are running a custom kernel you can adjust it via a kernel tweak app like trickster or fauxclock.
Sent from my Slimmed ZX Spectrum +2 Via an app or something..

Thanks for the reply. I'm currently running on custom kernel. But no setting for vibration control. Is there any way to modify the vibration intensity?
It's possible the kernel you are using does not support changing of vibration. If not, you'll have to make do or switch to a kernel that supports it I'm afraid.

I had the old ausdim kernel installed at one point on my i9505. One of my favourite features was the slow fade led pulse. Currently I'm using Slimkat ROM which uses the ktoonsez kernel. Ausdim has not developed his kernel past Jellybean and I was wondering if there was a way to get this fading led notification again?
I've tried searching but couldn't find anything. I'm looking for any sort of solution including a new kernel, some minor tweak or even just an app.
KTweaker -> Main Settings -> LED Settings
I bought a new Note 3 a week ago, it`s the black version, made in Vietnam, selling in Europe.
I`ve compared it to 3 other Note 3 devices and the colors on mine are way off.
The display is evenly lit, but it has a somewhat greenish/blueish, sometimes yellowish tint on the whites and the resulting picture is unbearable for me.
Any possible way to gain more control over the display`s calibration, so I can try to fix this?
Thanks in advance!
That depends on the rom and kernel you are using.
On Samsung Stock you may try Settings -> Device -> Display -> Screen Mode and test the options.
On the DU AOSP rom you may change color temperature in Settings -> Device Specific -> Screen -> Color Temperature.
Some Rom / Kernels will allow you to fine tune the basic colors.
Unfortunately, the stock rom doesn't provide control over white ballance.
Changing the color temp doesn't seem to fix the problem either - i tried it with the app "Lux".
I guess fine tunning a particular color is the way to go, but so far i do not know how to do it.
Could you please name a suitable ROM/Kernel, that could offer this option?
Thanks

You can tweak the basic colors on Samung phones changing MDNIE parms.
Use Faux123 Kernel Enhancement Pro
Fauxclock will only show the MDNIE Controls menu when rom/kernel supports it. Try it on your rom first.
It works on [Rom][4.4.4][Team D.I.R.T] Dirty Unicorns. Should work on most AOSP roms.
Finally, i decided to Root my device and paid for Faux123 Kernel Enhancement Pro .
Unfortunately, there are no MDNIE/Gamma /Color controls present in the menu.
Could it be the ROM/Kernel?
Mine are:
Kernel - 3.4.0 - 1937874
ROM (stock) - JSS 15.JN9005XXUDMJ6
I don`t want to install custom ROMs, because i wnat to keep the Knox counter at 0x0 and keep my warranty.
Please, help.
Thanks!
You can't calibrate the colours with stock kernel/Faux Clock unfortunately. Custom kernel or tripped Knox

So I won't be able to try to fix the issue without breaking warranty.. Unfortunately this doesn't work for me.
Next step - samsung service, although i think they will laugh at me about this kind of issue.
Thanks all for the support!
Ok, there`s no way I will get a replacement from my carrier, in my country they`ll do everything possible to reject warranty service.
Could you please suggest a custom kernel that supports MDNIE control?
Thanks.
This error is very annoying, as it raises the brightness and lowers the background color. It is annoying that having the automatic brightness off will raise the brightness in some applications
I have the automatic brightness off.

UPDATE:
This does not happen in OmniROM.
In all other roms the problem is present
Display->Live Display->Reduce power consumption->turn it off.
Not in my kernel

Help
Hi, It is not an application BUG. It is actually a feature Had to discover this by myself.
Ok. So in my Leeco Le 2, if I go to:
Settings -> Battery -> Power Saving management -> Adaptive app brightness
And there is the function by default turned on. So you can control individually the backlight intensity for every single app on your phone, or you can turn it off completely, hence using the default brightness level of your phone.
If you find this helpfull let me know.
Best regards,
BB
Hi everybody.
Actually I have Cosmic OS ROM and I want to ask if there is any app or mod through Magisk that allows you to reduce or increase vibration intensity. Usually there is a specific settings in "Sound" but it doesn't appear.
Someone could help me, please?
Thanks
You can change the vibration intensity in the kernel adiutor app , since you have Magisk already. I don't know any module that does that , sorry
Don't know why, but no pie custom roms have the kernel feature to control the Vibration intensity . In case of the Oreo Custom roms, there was a feature in the kernel auditor app to control the Vibration intensity . The default vibration intensity is very low for all of the pie custom roms . I asked the developer ls to look at this feature request but on one bothered . So, i am asking the members if they can give me a solution to increase the vibration intensity in the pie custom roms . Thanks in advance ?

Hi, I have a nexus 6 and here the problem is the opposit. I like light vibrations for keyboard input and for ui interaction, I don't mind for messages or calls because it's pretty strong here. I could set gboard keys at a low vibration strength, but sadly it's not possible to set the ui haptic feedback strength because it reverts back to stock 81 value . I tried with nitrogen os rom and another one , with franco kernel , with popcorn kernel and with both franco kernel and kernel adiutor apps . I found in some way I don't remember the file the gets edited with the new vibration strength, but even modifying it manually still revert to stock . It's really strange because after editing the value in any way I tried , the first vibration is produced at the desired strength before reverting.
