After 4.3 fix update battery life & performance has drastically reduced. I am getting around 15hr on normal usage & 8-9hr on heavy usage.
Charging time has gone up from 1.45 to 2.30.
Doea everyone using stock rom facing the same or just me?

I faced the same , but after i rooted and flashed franco's kernel, im getting around 22hr on normal usage ,10-11 hr on heavy usage not to mention almost 2 days when phone is idle.
Keep in mind that after an update or a ROM flash or what ever changes are made.. Battery life can suffer for a good week or so. This GS like media scanner and other services will be running more in the background.

Okay guys, today just formatted my phone. Its just as good as before. No deep sleep issue, battery life is back to normal. I shall post it after 3-4 discharge cycle.
Thanks!

Hi
one of the bad things so far about Galaxy devices is RAM usage and ability to free memory.
But stock Android 4.4.2 comes with RAM management feature;
Project Svelte
and also with power management for sensors that is so necessary for galaxy device;
Low Power Sensors
Now its important that how Samsung Galaxy Developers used these 2 project to boost up their product & of course Galaxy Note3
please write about your galaxy kitkat experiences...

Does Android 4.4.2 of* Galaxy Boost-up your phone performance?
Any experience?
Do you like performance of galaxy KitKat?
Did you test AnTuTu on 4.4.2 ??

I got a 36 + 38K score from Antutu when I freshly flashed. Yesterday I got 29K.
Phone feels smoother, it's the little things, noticeable differences? slight.
What's Galaxy kat?

Antutu from kit kat got 36k ish. Previously using x note 7.0 with civz kernel get near 38k.
well no choice now since I'm on new bootloader

I got Antutu 36512 fully stock 4.3, so it seems kitkat not much better and I'm sure I could push it much higher with tweaks not available yet for new 4.42.
So far initial tests and reports;
Boost Performance
better RAM management
more Stability
for SM-N900 and before it for N9005

Massive battery drain on 4.4.2, I've removed all bloat were disabled features etc even put CPU frequency to Min 300mhz but I still have massive battery drain. Yeah its smooth, responsive and efficient but the battery on it sucks

Possible to install wakelock detector then charge full. After that let phone idle for 1 to 3 hrs. Then check what's waking it up.

i got battery draining issue on my N900 and i did this;
let to discharge, less than 20% and then turn it off and connect to charging cable and wait for full charging and then turn it on.
it s like re-gauging of battery.

my battery life is very bad since kitkat. so should I try lollipop or just stay where I am? I managed to downgrade back to jellybean, but I believe my battery is unstable and unsteady since...

Lollipop battery life is terrible. So dont update to lollipop, thats what my suggestion.
Exactly opposite for me. Battery backup is much better in LP than KK.
go ahead and try lollipop.. I felt it better regarding battery consumption..
Have you guys checked it? Any performance boost?
I've seen online that it speeds up the s6

I haven't.
Wouldn't it decrease battery life? Also, what performance boost do you think you may get by turning it on?
I ask because performance on my device is great, and my battery life is amazing as well.
For some, it's a minor increase but battery life decreases. Also, with it turned on, the s7 gets really hot
