[Q] update lg l5

please im not professional in android i need someone to tell me how to update my mobile lg l5 from ics 4.0.3 to 4.0.4 or jelly bean ..and when i update it by wifi it says to me i have the latest version installed ..anyone tell me how to do it manually instead of waiting for an official update ?

Edit: Before you going to do anything take off battery and look under your battery what type LG L5 you got. This guide is for E610 and E612.

Now you got 4.1.2 JB clean rom realy fast.

.. my lg is e610 ..are these official not moded because i have read that there is some keyboard bugs for those who installed jb on lg l5 ? sorry again i have small knowledge about installing android

in the guide he is saying he isnt sure it will work for 4.0.3 versions and this is my version :S any way to upgrade to 4.0.4 ?

Okey these guides will work for you.
The first guide will update your base firmware to V20A_Rooted it will update your 4.0.3 to 4.1.2, and will get you a unlocked bootloader and cwm installed.
After you installed the V20A base firmware you go to the Second guide.
That guide will install Android 4.1.2 CLEAN and with no keyboard errors, its all working fine and i am using it to.

thank you too much but one last question if anything went wrong can i return my phone to the way before i updated it with this guide or there is no way to install again official firmware ?

If you want to keep your files you will need to copy them to your pc.
Use Titaniumbackup to update apps.
You can backup your contacts/music etc to your External sdcard.
And if there is something going wrong and you want to go back there are unbrick guides enough i will help you if anything will go wrong. But i did everything and its working very good.

Edit: List of all firmwares: http://lg-phone-firmware.com/index.php?id_mod=12 this list contains all versions, so if anything is going wrong with v20a its easy to go back to V10L ore V10A/V10B

[Q] Wrong Wrong flash 16 rom into 32GB-only 16GB memory available

Hi,
I flash wrong 16 rom into 32GB handset D802 using LG Flash Tool with option CSE Flash then I flash again with non 16 rom-D80220F. I tried few of others roms because with oryginal V20D the Skype don't working correct. Now is D80220F_00 (V20F). Handset don't see all 32GB internal memory but 10.62GB only.
Any solutions for resolve this problem?

[FIX] Problems after trying to update to Lollipop

Hello,
I was trying to update my LG G2 to Lollipop using German official release available since yesterday. The problem I'm having is that the firmware update mode goes to x % then I can see red text "Assert" in the second line and then phone restarts and shows 0% and doing nothing. LGFlashTool2014 is showing message that something went wrong (or similar) and I can try again. It's happening all the time - over and over - sometimes it's 30%, sometimes 60%. I was trying to back to KitKat using LG Mobile Support Tool - same situation. When I'm trying to restart my phone, it's restarting to download mode all the time :/

Ok, after about 4 hours I fixed it using TOT method (version D80210b for Europe). So if there's a problem with KDZ method, maybe anyone knows when - or if - it will be Lollipop version for TOT method?

So - after I bring my G2 to life using TOT method and older KitKat I thought I could try with Lollipop again. And now it works! Good morning to Lollipop! So I hope it might be helpful for others with similar problems
What I did exactly?
1. Trying to install Lollipop using KDZ method and something was going wrong all the time - keep restarting to download mode.
2. Performed hard reset.
3. Fixed problems by installing downgrade using TOT method.
4. Installed Lollipop using same file I was trying to use before and I chose Normal Flash method.
5. Good morning to Lollipop!

I used LGD802AT-V10b-EUR-XX-SEP-07-2013-16G.exe (sorry, can't add links because I don't have 10+ posts ) For Lollipop I used KDZ method with official LG G2 image for Germany 16GB version

Guys... i have the D802 (European version) and i've installed a camera mod (xdabbe's 3.2). I've deleted the backup, so now i am stuck with it Will i be able to make the OTA update to Lollipop ?

My LG G2 Was working very nice and then i install LGMobile Support Tool to upgrade my Device to lollipop. after update to lollipop my phone gone Mad. Dubble Tap problem in screen and sim not working on it. I need Rom to flash please suggest me rom i am newbie on this Hope Some Expert will help me

Download the stock KDZ from http://lg-firmware-rom.com/(or any other site by searching for 'lg firmware'. But this one is the best). You will need to give your IMEI number and then search on the site. It will provide you with a link to download the kdz file. Download it and then use LG Flash tool to install it. You can find the guide for flashing on xda. If all goes well you will boot into the latest OS available for your device in your country. However If for some reason u don't have lollipop for ur country, then you can install cloudyg2(based on lollipop 5.0.2. I am using it, its excellent). For that you can find the guide here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g2/general/complete-guide-convert-d802t-d802-t3184830 . Please do check my comments on the 2nd page of this link for correct installation without bootloops. Good luck

Need help with my lg g2 d802 storage

Hey guys first of all sorry for my bad English of it is bad
I have a lg g2 d802 that I had to flash official lollipop kdz on it. I gave my phone to someone to do it and I don't know what he did. Now my phone shows that my storage is only 10.77 GB while my phone is 32GB version. I saw some threads in the forum but my phone has a diffrence. In setting and under storage tab it says Total storage is 32GB but under the misc tab I see that it says system data is 21GB. I'm very confused. I don't know if flashing a costom ROM can help me or not and also I'm a noob plz help me guys tnx all

I did. But nothing changed

i had the same issue ,phone shows 33 gb version ,21 gb system,10.7 gb of storage , simply follow the guide found here on Q & A to fix it

[Solved] I just had to install official kdz on my phone with CSE flash. Every thing gone but my phone is back tnx.
