Chrome browser button weirdness? - Galaxy S 5 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Not sure if this is just an S5 thing or a chrome thing, but I have noticed that my 'settings' button and 'tabs' button are now on the top right hand side of the address bar and the blue loading bar slides in from the right hand side and not the left. It's like everything has been reversed??
Everything works ok, but I am used to the buttons being on the right hand side.
Can anyone confirm if I have changed a setting somewhere on my phone or if chrome has changed things around?
Thanks.

Ignore the toolbox button as that's not the problem... I mean the address bar and buttons at the top of the screen in chrome are reversed and I can't swap them back.
The settings button and tabs button should be on the right hand side of the address bar.

Vertical scrollbar left side

Hey, i have another question. I am left handed so it's quite annoying for me sometimes to scroll down pages because the scrollbar is at the right side of the screen.
Is there anyway to move the vertical scrollbar to the left side of the screen...?

Not to sure about this, though you can modify size etc of these scroll bars using Advanced config. But I doubt this helps.

Increasing the size isn't really working for me as i still have to move my hand over the screen. But i don't think this is possible yet, cause i can't find anything about this
It's as easy as a spin...

[Q] Multi Window Not Enabled

Just got the Galaxy S4 from Spring and for some reason I'm not being able to turn on the multi-window setting. Go into the settings, see the unchecked box and won't let me check it. Tried holding the back button from the home screen to bring up that side bar, but no dice. Anyone have an issue like this?

Try turning it on from the toggle in the pulldown bar toggles.

Yeah I've tried that as well and no dice.
How about holding down the back button?

Yes I've tried that as well.

That circle thing in the middle of the screen, it looks like a folder but it is not and i cant get rid of it, i tried Kong pressing but it does nothing besides the usual nova launcher menu thingy coming up

i would export settings, uninstall/reinstall nova, import settings again and see if its gone.
or maybe try cleaning the nova cache first.
good luck !
edit:
or try to drag something inside the folder (shortcut to a note for example), then longress on it and choose remove.
Happened to me. Restarted Nova from the Nova menu and it went way

Hiding the buttons

I find the virtual buttons a bit of a nuisance, I would much rather use gestures. I originally wanted to hide them only on my home screen, but it seems it's all or nothing with qemu.hw.mainkeys in build.prop.
I'm fine getting rid of them, however I'm wondering if there is a gesture system I can have instead, for example a swipe from bottom takes me to the home screen?
Edit: I'm on rooted stock 4.3.
I'm using cataclysm ROM which has a unique feature which fades out the buttons after ten seconds in any app. Other wise I think there's an xposed module that can have swipes to navigate.

Thanks man, turns out I was Googling for the wrong thing - once I figured out that they were called navigation bars I came across an app called " GMD Auto Hide Soft Keys" for rooted devices. (For future people)
I'd rather keep with rooted stock for now but I will be sure to keep an eye on it for when I decide to dabble in roms.

Smart Swipe Gestures?

How do i get the half circle, spinning quick shortcut wheel to appear on the bottom left of my phone? My wife and i both have the USA T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus and her phone is the only one that does it. If you swipe upwards diagonally, from the bottom left or right corner, then the quick access wheel appears. This only works on my wifes phone. We both got them at the same time, unboxed them together and she doesnt have the smart swipe app installed from the Galaxy store, but yet her phone does it without problems. There has to be a setting on my phone that can be changed to get this to work. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
i have a picture i took of her screen on my phone but not sure how to share it on here.

It's not a Samsung pre-installed app. You can read here and find what is yours
https://forums.androidcentral.com/a...o-i-remove-corner-swipe-popup-menu-my-s8.html
Thank you for the information. So it sounds like my wife must have an app installed on her phone that contains this feature, yes/no? Second, whatever apps contain this feature, it looks like everone is trying to get rid of it. That option wont appear on my phone because i dont have any apps that support that swipe gesture?
