[Q] Folder and apps on same page in app drawer - Galaxy S 5 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi,
Does anyone know if it is possible to have folders and apps on same page in app draw.
Currently i have a page for folders and other pages for apps but i can't seem to get both of them same page.
When i try and move it it says "Cannot move folders from app page. Folder icon can only be rearranged only in folder page"
Thanks

Sort Custom Folder created !!!

Hello,
I am using folders in my home screen for better organization of my apps. before i created 4 folders (utilities, multimedia, internet, games) and manually added program shortcuts inside each category and i was very happy with this. But there were some downsides with this:
1) not fixed sorting method, last to add last in the list
2) when you uninstalled an app its icon was still in the folder
then i read about folder organizer and apps organizer and i tried both but kept folder roganizer cause of more features. This has many advantages over the built in folders you ceate cause:
1) if you uninstall an app its icon is gone
2) you choose how the folder should be sorted and its updated according to this
3) you can remove and re-add the folder without manually adding the programs inside
4) many more
BUT the main downside od Folder Organizer is Performance. with the default folders the scrolling and the opening was blazing fast and smooth. but now with the organizer scrolling through the apps is choppy and the opening sometimes lags. is there a way to speed it up by a setting ????
OR if not possible into the organizer....is there any way to sort the shortcuts i add into the folders i create (using built in method) by name and if i add a new one place it accordingly to its name????

Make Folders In App Menu

Hey,
How can I make folders to organize my apps in the main app menu? Is this possible?
I've tried searching, but all I'm able to find is stuff on how to do it in WinMO
Thanks for any help.
You can't create folders in the app drawer, I'm afraid.
The best you can do is create folders on the home screen. Android offers this out-of-the-box, or you can search the market for more configurable versions.
I've used "app folders" before now, and that does the job very well.

[Q] Lost apps in drawer

I moved Chrome from the Google folder to the desktop and subsequently removed it from there. Now it no longer shows up in the folder or the app drawer. It is still installed and I can open it if I search for it, but I can't find the icon to place it back on the home screen. I even uninstalled The Update AND Re updated It To No avail. Thanks for any help getting it back
Check your frozen apps on the far right tab under Settings - Application Manager. Unfreeze it. One bug I have noticed so far is if you drag and drop into folders in the app drawer as soon as your restart they dissappear. Best way to add apps to folder is to add them via the plus sign button.

How do I change icons, where's Chrome stored?

How do I change icons for things? For instance, the icon for Internet is a globe. How do I use the Chrome icon instead and call it "Chrome"? The phone asked me in the beginning whether I wanted "internet" to open Chrome, but although I see an Opera icon in the "installed programs", I can't find a "Chrome" program anywhere so that I can just delete the internet icon and put the direct Chrome icon there instead.
Go to apps, you should find a folder "Google", tap on it, you will find Chrome in it

"App note found." Apps inside App Drawer

I moved some of my apps into the SD card. After reboot, the apps inside the app drawer had a grayed out SD card icon. If it's accessed inside a folder inside the app drawer, it says "App not found". But if access outside the folder or search on top via search, it opens. Anyway to have the icons back and be able to access inside the folders, without moving the apps back to the internal memory? Thanks in advance.
Same for me, that apps which is in sd card after reboot not display icon
