My G2 (European) was recently updated to Kitkat and I am not sure if immediately after update it started to have this issue or its unrelated. Nevertheless, now if I try to open any file attached to a gmail message, I just get a black screen.
My friend has LG L9 II and just started to have the same problem a day ago. (He doesnt know if he has Kitkat or not.)
Any hints, what causes it?
Also, after Kitkat the phone started to freeze sometimes, it never did before. And of course, it wont play any more embedded Flash objects.
I am through already 10 smartphones at least, but NEVER had a single happy op.system update... unfortunately the G2 got also to be a worse phone than it was before.

I'm wondering if anyone else has encountered this problem?
Basically, I was having wifi issues connecting to an enterprise WLAN with PEAP/MSCHAPV2, so I (stupidly) upgraded to the OTA 4.4.2 ROM, which would have been fine if it didn't kill battery life and randomly restart. I wasn't on this version long enough to know if it had the same issue that I will describe below.
So I threw caution and my warranty to the wind and went with the 4.4.4 Pacman ROM, which was great, but whenever I had a phone call, the phone screen freezes and won't wake up to allow me to hang up a call. The same thing would occur if I called someone and had to use their automated system - I'd put the screen on loudspeaker, open up the dialpad, and when I want to hit the numbers - nothing. Locked up. Can't hang up either.
I had the same issue on the 4.4.4 Cyanhacker ROM, so I believe that it is fully related to some sort of incompatibility between KitKat and the i9505, and not the ROMs themselves.
At this point I was successful in switching to the Darthstalker 4.3 ROM, which is running beautifully and I'm really liking it so far. It's also nice having the old phone and contacts apps back, because I really hated the Kitkat one anyway...
Hi there, xdadevelopers, this is my first post here and I need some help if possible.
Here's my case:
I've been using Chromecast at home since Google release, always using my unlocked LG G2 to control it and without any issue...
But one month ago I began to suffer constant disconnections between my cellphone and both of my two Chromecasts. I can connect correctly with them, and I can use any compatible app to cast videos, movies or whatelse I want, but after ten or twenty seconds more or less my LG G2 "silently" losses Chromecast connection: I mean, there are no errors shown or no video/movie issues because it continues running, and if I want to stop or pause it I must re-connect my phone with Chromecast again.
As I said, I use two Chromcasts at home and this issue happens with both of them. I have also tried to use my wife's phone to control the devices (and it's not a LG G2) and I didn't notice disconnections, so it seems to be my LG G2 the main problem.
By the way, the android version installed is 4.4.2 (the last available here until Lollipop comes out), and i'm using LG's stock rom.
Is there anyone here with my same problem?

I have LG G2 D802 & I noticed 3 issues in it.
1. Camera is fantastic, but sometime, it works very odd. Please check the image below & focus on face. It's odd. This happens randomly, not every time. (without flash, with flash it's great)

2. My phone doesn't update. Phone update option says "Your phone is not yet registered"
My software build version is D80220h-EUR-XX, while I checked online & latest build for my phone (according to IMEI) is D80230b_00 as per imeidata . net, Should I just flash this D80230b_00 kdz & my issue will be resolved?
3. Charging Time.
This is my 4th LG G2 & first time I am facing this issue that it is taking 180-200minutes charging time from 10% to 100%. My all previous g2s were charged under 100mins. Please let me know how to solve this issue.

Hi, guys, it has been a while since I've had this ROM but I've just recently got an update for Blisspop v4.0.3 or something like that. It automatically installed it. Now I can't use the smart lock feature and I heavily rely on it. Also, Play Store isn't working. I have yet to see what else is not working. Any help would be great.

Also just noticed I am not receiving any notifications. I have to go directly into the app to see I have received a message.
Soi know the phone sucks with signal but today i faced another issue. I had my brother call me and it all went to voicemail. Crazy thing is i was able to surf the internet as i was waiting for his call. So again the software is failing. I am not the only one as his wife owns a v20 and told me that when she had it redone and a month later it just acts up. I am also seeing my Facebook messenger is crashing the phone hangs at times and now today ky chrome was not responding. Is there a fix for this software. My v10 dose alot better then the v20 and i heard the v10 has bootlooping issues. Well my v10 is pretty much showing the v20 that its a better phone. So if there is a fix i would like to know and thank you. No i will not go to a asop rom as there is no stock camera to do Manuel controls.
