Hi guys. It's only me or when I want to end a call the screen takes 2-3 seconds to wake up?

I have an epic that seems to go from dim to bright when I first wake it up and also from dim to black when I press the power button to put it to sleep. Is this normal?
Any help would be great.

It is only normal if the screen goes completely black when you press the power button to put the screen to sleep.

Well it seems like when I press the power button it goes to the lowest brightness setting and then turns off or visa versa goes on at lowest seting and then a split second later goes to regular brightness.
Any ideas would be great.

Here's what mine does...
Screen is off
I push the power button
screen turns on dim for ~ .25 seconds
screen turns bright
I push the power button
screen dims for ~ .25 seconds
screen goes off
I've noticed that it dims when it automatically sleeps as well.
That is exactly what happens with mine.

My Epic, my gf's Epic, and my Captivate all do the same thing. Totally normal.
Every now and then when I turn the screen off, the lock screen will turn on but then the screen turns back on 1 second later.
Anyone else having this issue

Yeah, it happens at least once a day it seems. Couldn't say why though...
what rom are you both using??????
I get that sometimes if I have accidently pressed the volume rocker whilst doing so, not sure if this is the cause of this for you but is for me!
I was wondering because since the N4 doesn't have a removable battery, is there a way to get it to restart if the power button becomes unresponsive?
If you hold the power button long enough it will turn off, even if the os is frozen.

Long pressing the power button does nothing. The power menu does not come up, and as soon as I stop pressing it the screen turns off( the long press registers as a quick press so waking the screen on/ turning off is fine).
Any ideas what i can do ? Maybe force stop a certain service that would refresh the whole UI or something. My battery is at 9% now so I can wait till the battery dies and reboot it after. But im afraid it wont turn on if it was a hardware fault ;/
EDIT:
Solved. Had to do a hard reboot for it to work(holding down the power button for 10 second). Now it works fine, and i feel stupid . Lock please.

I need help diagnosing my new lg g2. After being shut off for some time, I am unable to turn the phone on. Today I plugged it in to charge (assuming battery was drained) for about 5 hours - still won't turn on. While plugged in, a red light flashes and the phone periodically vibrates. This occurs in a pattern: red light flashes 6 times, phone vibrates, and repeat. Any insight as to what these things mean?
What happens if you hold the power button for 10 seconds?

Nothing changes. I tried this both on and off the charger, tried holding down the up arrow with power button, still nothing.
Well, if it's new and you got it like this I suggest you take it back to the store. Sounds like it's broken.
