Horn on MOJO

Using AppMonster, I ripped Horn off my tablet. Apparently a LOT of people are unable to play it after the last update, but it has always worked well for me. I sideloaded the game onto the MOJO this morning.
1. The first time you run the game, you will get an unlicensed message.
2. Run Google Play.
3. Profit.
Unfortunately, the game doesn't work with a control, but it does work with a mouse. I tried playing with the controller in mouse mode, but it was a real pain in the butt and I went with my Microsoft BT mouse instead. The gestures translate very well to mouse control, and I had a blast playing Horn on the MOJO.
If you want to play it on the big screen, the MOJO is pretty tight.

Hey, I was wanting to play Horn on my MOJO, can you tell me how you got it to work with your mouse? Does your mouse work natively? Or did you have to map the buttons with tincore keymapper or something like that?

The whole game is touch, no buttons or anything. Mouse just worked.
Unfortunately when the original developer got the game back from Zynga, the compatibility with my tablet went away (and I had already deleted the backup and removed it from the MOJO to make room for other games back before root) so now I can't play it on anything!

Well this might be good news to you - the game just got updated the other day. Yesterday after work when I came home and turned on my MOJO, I had a notification with a new item in the tegra store, which was Horn. I checked it out on the Play Store and it looks like it was updated recently. I remember before there was a bunch of complaints about compatibility issues and crashes and now there are new ones praising the game because it is supposedly fixed.
I'm rooted, I can download it! I'ma do it!

[Q] i9505 4.3-4.4.2 stock rotation problem

Hi guys, I'm experiencing the weirdest problem.
Yesterday I got myself a Galaxy S4 9505, everything was working fine, it was on 4.3. During the day, I've installed a few apps (including a barometer one) and rooted it and suddenly, the screen auto-rotation doesn't work. I've no idea what happened, since I didn't run any debloater or anything like that. I've decided to factory reset a few times, but it didn't solve it. I flashed the 4.4.2 from France on it and still nothing. I've ran the Sensor Test from the Play Store and it says that the accelerometer reports both X and Y fine, however Z stays at 0 for some reason.
Could anyone help me out, please? I'm pretty stressed out.
Oh and also, I have the libgnustl_shared.so lib in system/libs and it has rw-r--r--
Also the icons rotate in the camera app and steering works perfectly in Asphalt 8, but even Ultimate Rotation Control from the play store doesn't fix it.

doing it right now, installed the Google Play edition 4.4.2, no luck in that one either. I've noticed that the test menu reports the accelerometer's Z axis as 37600-something, that's not normal, is it? X and Y work fine. If that's the culprit, it's a broken accelerometer?

tried everything, but nothing seems to work, any ideas on where I could buy a replacement accelerometer?

Can you return to samsung service center under warranty and ask them to fix it for you. Or did you trip your knox?

dial *#7353# and test the sensor
or install https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=imoblife.androidsensorbox and post the pic

Knox'd sadly. Samsung service wants 300 bucks to replace the whole mobo so it's a no go.
Magnetometer works fine (maxes out when I approach a speaker). Orientation seems to be working fine, at least the bubbles in the Spirit Level move as they should. Yet no auto-rotate. The accelerometer is weird, because the ball rolls around as it should, but the Z value is stuck

Starting this thread to see how many people are having freezing problems with mojo even if ur not and please put say if ur rooted or not and what version and firmware ur using thank you

Me also, was using Firmware 0202 and he was Rooted.

Rooted. Latest firmware. I've only had freezing when playing The Walking Dead. I have not experienced it with anything else yet. I use MOJO for 1080 movies, streaming, playing android games and emulation, surfing etc. without any issues with those.

I got bad freezing yesterday tried different things fans and stuff was getting freezing while streaming on XBMC and downloading from the play store so today I decided to have no fans disconnected the Ethernet cable just used WiFi been streaming all day and have downloaded big games from the play store and it hasn't crashed yet

I heard about this mounts ago, so why have Mad Catz not fixed this BIG problem yet with a Firmware update???
I think because it's a hardware problem, why else would they not fix that problem with a Firmware?

Rooted latest firmware.
My mojo also locks up while playing Walking Dead and pauses/freezes while downloading from play/app store!
Wifi seemed better for a while but eventually got pauses/freezing on wifi as well.
I have had a support ticket open with Mad Catz for a while now and so far they are blaming it on software
and keep asking me to reset/clear data.
I have asked for a replacement unit to prove it is not hardware but have had no response!

I have two Mojo units and have never experienced any type of freezing issue such as you gentleman (or gentlewoman) speak of. Perhaps you received a bad batch?

So I have recently been experiencing more freezing. First only noticed it when I played Walking Dead as stated above. After a couple of episodes of freezing on that game I just uninstalled it and moved on. More recently after using the MOJO for streaming shows from apps I've been getting the freezing and it will make a humming noise when it freezes. I have noticed this both on a wired connection and wireless. I've also experienced the screen going black while playing a video, but you can still hear the audio. This requires exiting to the home screen and going back into the app and starting the video again from where it left off. Ticket submitted today. I like my MOJO, but this is not acceptable.

Have u still had the Ethernet lead in when u where on WiFi pull the lead out completely mine freezes when the lead is in but I don't get any freezing when I keep the lead out and just use WiFi give it a go

I discovered that my MOJO was freezing in Walking Dead due to the "GMD Auto Hide Soft Keys" app! If I do not hide the softkeys it doesn't seem to freeze. I have tried "full!screen" (I don't like to see the softkeys while playing games) and it hasn't frozen/locked yet. The only problem I still have is the pausing/freezing when downloading from play/app store. It is better on wifi but not perfect. I prefer wired!

I have the lead out and have still had the freezing. Everything works great on my Wi-Fi right up until a freezing episode occurs during streaming.

I also thought it may have been the GMD Auto hide so I uninstalled it and installed "fullscreen". I have had freezing with fullscreen installed as well. It seems to happen randomly during streaming. I'm going to keep testing things out and will probably try The Walking Dead again. I may try a factory reset at some point after I finish playing GTA III if it's still occurring That game has run perfectly though.

Another app that requires root and does modification to the default user interface. Guys, be careful regarding apps that require root access. If the mojo is not on the supported list for any of these types of apps that actually modify the interface, I would say to proceed with caution. Root is a powerful thing.

Agreed my wifi is dead locks webpages if it's on with ethernet in,i guess it's a conflict of the m.o.j.o probably saying wifi ethernet wifi ethernet wifi ethernet forever and can't decide so just [email protected] up in a timeout (hangs).Not tried on wifi only yet though must have a go at that,possibly could be the update messed the wifi up on root or on both none root and rooted devices?

I have one really weird issue. It only occurs when streaming video, such as from HBOGO, never when playing games. I will be watching and the video will go black. There is still volume, but no video. Hitting the volume button on my tv remote brings the video back immediately. I only found out the fix by trial and error as the MOJO controller won't bring back the video, only the TV remote. Anyone have any ideas what might be causing this? HDMI issue? It happens randomly and will happen multiple times during a show. Sometimes within a few minutes of starting a show, other times it takes a bit before it will do it.

Just like to report that I have now been going a few weeks now and have had no freezing what soever since I stopped using Ethernet really glad now I didn't send mine of working like a charm

Your not using a mouse by any chance?Or leaving the mouse cursor on the top black area of the screen,as on my unit if i leave the mouse cursor on the top bar from time to time i get intermitent flickering (black screen/normal screen) or the screen just goes solid black.So i just place the cursor anywhere but when i am using the unit and it does not happen then.

Yeah, I get that too, only on at the top and it's only a few pixels (hoz lines), just blanks out the display.
not sure what's going on there, just figured it's the TV which has overscan issues anyway.

Mine went black screen and had to take it back,got a refund now.I am looking at the xiaomi mipad but don't have a clue how much they are or when or if they get released in the uk? Wondering if anyone knows if android possible to install on a jetson tk1 deveoper board as well as maplin have them listed but none in stock?
I'm back to my ouya again i bricked it the other night and spent 48hrs fixing it i wrote a tutorial for people in the same boat now in the ouya help forum here took me ages.I want cynogenmod on it but don't have a laymans guide to do it,bet yu don't know of one do you?

Re the jetson tk1 deveoper board, I don't see why it can't run android, I'm sure someone will have a androind rom for it.

Hello.Upgraded Note to android 4.4 and not working tilt control in game.Gyroscope is working on testers from google play.Is this fault of game or system itself,,any ideas to solve this problem?.

Downgraded to 4.3 and ewerything is working fine.

Strangely enough, Pitfall!, doesn't seem to work with gyroscope either. However, temple run 2 does work with it. Maybe it has something to do with pitfall being in landscape and temple run being in portrait? Or maybe one was updated to KitKat where the other one may not have been?

Doesn't work for me in Real Racing 3 either. The gyroscope and accelerometer does work in Asphalt 8 though, which is also in landscape mode.

I had this problem with real racing 3, I fixed it by clearing the gamepad mapper data by going to "settings/apps/all/NVIDIA Gamepad mapper" then clicking clear data, then disabled the gamepad mapper by unchecking the box at "settings/controller/enable gamepad mapper" :thumbup:

Lineage 2 revolution

Hello,
i install yestarday the lineage 2 revolution but when i attack mobs the game freeze. Any idea what's the problem? is the game or i have to do something in my phone?

I'm starting to think there is something with the phone or the OS (Assuming you're running OxygenOS too) because mine locks up momentarily when I play Sentinel 4 and there is a lot of enemies attacking. I can't even change the volume or press home when it's frozen but it will launch my requested actions once it comes back up.
I'm curious to know if someone else has the same issue too. I'm already cooperating with OnePlus' L2 support about USB audio not being there at all and also Bluetooth instability. I can tell them about the lock ups but I may want to try with your game to see if it does that on mine too. Do you have to get far in the game to experience those issue?

I found the problem. From game settings/device, i lower the sound effect volume from 75 to 0 and no more freezes but when i give just 1 freezes again but no like before. No idea if the problem coming from Snapdragon Audio+ install or the musicfx app.

On my end, lowering the in-game volume and uninstalling the Equalizer FX app that I got from the Play Store did not resolve mine. Although, I tried my game with the same progression on my Note 3 and my Note did not freeze like that even if it has more stuff running in background and installed overall. I'll keep searching.

I confirm it fixed the huge stutters I was having in Sentinel 4 so yeah, it was an OS issue. Glad it's fixed now. My phone feels fast again. \o/
