I have a Galaxy S4-19500. It has the official 4.3 android stock ROM installed. I have tried to flash a stock kernel onto the phone but nothing changes.
How can I get this to stock before I sell it tomorrow?
Also is there anyway to get rid of binary count im on stock unrooted but still getting 1 warranty bit

Nothing wrong here.
I don't see anything wrong with this. If you haven't tried rooting this before with 4.2.3 then flashed the new 4.3 Firmware manually, you'll be just fine.

Why don't you just flash a new stock rom and start afresh. As for the warrant bit, i don't think you can reset it sorry.

I only made two threads as one wasn't posted as a question, I tried to delete the other then realized I couldn't.
I needed help urgently i'm sorry if this caused any trouble. I just want the phone to be stock so I can sell it today with no problems.
I already flashed a stock ROM and it won't get rid of that kernel.
As for the bumping , I didn't read the rule and now I have I won't do it again.
So is the kernal i have at the moment stock? Because I remember getting it from Rom Switcher. Im not going to root the phone again.
Then why does it say installed OCT 14? Is that not a custom kernel?
I recently restored stock rom on my Samsung galaxy s4 GT-i9505 from cm11. After that, the wifi just will not turn on at all. I will get a notice when i try to turn it on. I cannot upload a screenshot of the notice i get, it says "Security notice Your device's security has blocked an action that is not permitted. No further action is required."
Please help me solve this issue if it is possible. I really hope i have not screwed up my phone :crying: Any form of help will be greatly appreciated.
Edit: I got it to work already. i guess i flashed the wrong rom on my phone. i would like to thank @samersh72 's guide and link to stock roms that helped me solve my problem
Would love to know what firmware you used, no matter what I do it does not work, have flashed multiple roms.
I removed knox and it took some of the wifi with it on I9505XXUFNB9, I can reconnect to wireless networks but the passwords wont hold. On newer roms it just doesnt work even without a rooted kernel.

Received samsung sprint s4(SPH-L720) as a gift from my brother.I am from INDIA and in INDIA. As i am having frequent signal drop and also disconnects in mobile data , i thought of re installing the software.
Baseband version: L720VPUAMDC
Build version: KOT49H.L720VPUFNAE.
I feel that both the versions should be similar..meaning MDC-MDC or NAE-NAE. Am i correct?
Please go through the screen shot for my phone details and guide me which firmware i need to update.
Other problems i do face are;
1.very low music and video player volume including earphones plugged in.
2.I dont see mobile date in quick panel.
3.youtube closes frequently when used.
Main things i am after are the signal drops and volume problems. Please guide to slove them.

Just to answer your second question. The Sprint Gs4 doesn't have the mobile data toggle. It used to be there but then it for removed with 4.3 update. You can get it in most TW custom roms.

Your MDC baseband is old, and it's not included in the roms. you need to explicitly flash the MK2 modem package, and then the NAE modem package on top of it to bring the modem fully up to date.
Hello, I recently got a Galaxy S5 the GM-900v and I want to update to lollipop but I cannot it will install the update when my phone is on but when it starts to reboot it will get about 1/4th of the way through on the download bar and it will fail and restart my phone and when my phone turns back on it says "There was an error installing the update. I have searched and searched and tried do loading it at least 10 times. If anyone can give me help I would greatly appreciate it!

Hi,
I've been using SAMSUNG GALAXY GRAND PRIME SM-G530F for more than a year now and never faced any sort of problem before even though i rooted it immediately after purchase.
But after the update to kitKat 4.4.4 from kitkat 4.4.4, lol sounds crazy but i already had a kitkat on my phone but after the update of 76 MB file from OTA i didn't find much of a difference in settings but the notification panel was transparent and WiFi stopped working! It won't even turn on now. whenever i press the WiFi button it diminishes, and does nothing.
i tried everything, rebooting, wiping cache, even took it back to factory mode. but still the problem presist.. so could anyone help me with this problem?
i don't want to flash a new custom or official rom, there maybe some thing i could do make it work? :/
WiFi problem presisted in some devices back in jellybean too.. so that too could help me. please share any ideas or guesses below on the comment section. Thanks in advance!
