You're apps/mods in 9300/9305 CM11 - Galaxy S III General

Hi! I already install CM 11, i'm a beginner in this. The first impression that I have about this mod is that was awesome but I will like to know what apps or mods do you have on you're device.
Thank you

I search daily and I only found topics of mod rom's..... I will like to know what you have.... For have ideas for my phone
Sent from my GT-I9305 using xda app-developers app

It depends on what you want to do with your phone, Customizations could include everything from having a non-stock wallpaper downloaded from the internet, to a new homescreen manager, to rolling your own ROM.

I have no idea why this thread has been opened.
Not sent from a shiny new phone.

What a thread mate..this should be closed..

Excuse me, it was just a trivial question, I just wanted to have your suggestions for apps for my phone, didn't know it was so tragic. Well, thank you.

For dialer and contacts,I use exDialer.
For messaging, I use 8sms.
For gallery, I use QuickPic.
For photos,I use Lenovo Super Camera app,and for videos,I use stock google camera (Camera JB+ app).
I use tasker to force governor change to performance when opening cameras to make video smooth.
My kernel is Googy Max 2. Interactive governor.
Else isn't necessary.

Kitkat Dialer isn't really original coming from Nexus 5, it's a little different.
The thing is,exDialer has an swipe option like stock ROM has and has even themes. Like ICS , Stock touchwiz (with sounds) and kitkat too and is a lot faster. Still personal choise, tho
No problems,man.

Yeah, I've noticed, by chance before having kitkat had this' exDialer "and was very good. I like the original kitkat CM11 up is quite reactive and beautiful.
Thank again

Why would you even want to use TW apps on stock android? If you want Touchwiz experience, go back to stock.

You right, but its good to know which apps work. We might want to mix things up.
If the Google Edition ROMs have TW framework then why not to try. I read somewhere that the camera app works but I don't know where to find the link to the apk.

Not a lot more I can add to the list but if you guys are interested in customisation head over to the candy shop 4.4 forum.
Also I currently have touch control and screen off running, giving me the function of knock on from LG g2 and the ability to lock from screen, so basically all gestures and no use of power button. A pretty cool feature to have in my opinion.

FYI. It doesn't sync with the atomic clock but instead is pretty much just NTP. It looks to sync with a stratum 2 server at ntp.org which is a few removed from the atomic clock. I ran stratum 0 servers for a telcom.
This is a useful tool to specify what ntp server you want to sync with but TMO, AT&T and the rest have stratum 0 servers that their handsets get time from over their respective networks.

and could someone suggest a good app to view what apps are currently running, how much battery/memory they using & the ability to kill them..
and perhaps kill all as well??

Camera working nice on cm11

As u guys are concernd abt d camera quality on cm11 .. I have found a solution .... Just download the app named focal(beta) from play store ... It works very good and fine than the default camera ...
Sent from my GT-I9082 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
Its worlds most buggy camera as far as i have downloaded it 5times for me
developers are like gods
For Me, Stock Camera is better. Focal is still in beta and buggy. Hope the dev team will fix that soon.
Focal used to be included on JellyBean CMs. It's buggy as hell.
Besides default CM11 camera is good enough, with quality almost matching Samsung's camera... the only downside is the slow camera preview.
