Default has my Samsung Galaxy Note II phone no support for 4G LTE.
But, wandering maybe with the Omni ROM the 4G LTE may work??? Or is my antenna not suitable for 4G LTE?

No. The Infineon XMM626x doesn't support LTE - period, end of story.
That's why all of the LTE-capable Note2 variants have a completely different radio chipset (and hence different Omni builds)

Enable LTE in Galaxy I9500 , How?
someone know?
You just can't. Why not try to run Windows Server 2012 on it while you are at it... The phone just does not have an LTE enabled radio. Good luck enabling anything short of soldering one (well there is more than that involved but whatever, you should be getting the idea)

Yes the Exynos 5 CAN support LTE but the i9500 does not.
Samsung were most likely referring to the "SHV-E300K/L/S", the South Korean version which is running the Exynos but also includes an LTE chip.

but the chip in i9500 is the same as Korean variant its just over clocked... there would definitely be some method to do it!
just wait for XDA GENIUS developers....
cause on xda anything can happen

Hi all. In a few weeks I will be buying a sim free Galaxy S4. I am thinking about getting the LTE model, AKA the I9505. My question is, will 3g work on this model because I plan on using 3g until the price of 4g comes down.
Yes this will work, every mobile phone supports this.

Yes you will have no problems.
Odd that you get charged more for a 4g services than a 3g service. doesnt work that way here in OZ really just gotta be lucky to get 4g connections lol
Yes it will work! I have the 4G LTE version, too. And I use a 3G flatrate, because here in Germany 4G is very expensive... :crying:
3g will work

i know we don't have the modem or the kernel yet, but is there a chance kitkat modem would re-enable 4G? There was some rumor going around about a 4G version of the Nexus 4 and some say it will just be a software modification.

it will never happen.
even though the nexus 4 has a lte radio, it was never approved by tbe fcc. since it was never approved by the fcc, it would be illegal for the nexus 4 to use the lte radio/band in the united states, at the very least.
Just use a hybrid radio... Officially there's no filling for LTE by Google/LG for the FCC.

What's the rumor with new enabled LTE nexus 4 ? ,

4g as in hspa+? Or lte?
Hspa+ is native. Lte works fine with an older or hybrid radio and the lte 'fast T-Mobile' APN.
I read this on Engadget a few days ago bored at work.
Here's a link for you with more detail

hi,guys!
I want to buy a samsung galaxy note3 N9005,and i'm using Tmobile now.
But i don't know does it compatible to Tmobile 4g/HSPA+ newtork?
i saw in negri electronics,they said it doesn't work in tmobile's 4G.
So can you guys tell me about that? does note 3 N9005 work in Tmobile's 4G?
Thanks a lot.
I thought I read somewhere that the processor is comparable with all current LTE bands and all you had to do was flash a T-Mobile modem.
Don't quote me on that though because I don't want to be responsible for a broken note 3. Try using search on xda or ask in the T-Mobile note 3 forum. I know the info is around here somewhere.

It will work except for LTE, and you might be able to enable the LTE by flashing a T-Mo modem. I have the N900T with an N9005 ROM and it works great, still with T-Mo modem. N9005 ROM doesn't have the LTE indicator but if it says 4G that means LTE.

Sigh. For the N900 users, maybe you can answer this question!
