I have a Backup from my Old N9005 created with TWRP Recovery. Is it possible to Restore the backup on an other Note 3?

if you restore data only shld be no problem. other than data, I'm not sure.

I'm not sure mate. perhaps you can wait for someone else to answer.
my backup is only I use on the same particular device. I never brought it over to other devices, other than the data.

i have 2 Galaxy Y Pro Duos
i was missing around with one of them, then i wiped everything on the phone but i have a backup from the other Y Pro
i Restored the files even with the EFS and it worked fine, every thing was good

am maked backup for kitkat befor i upgraded to lollipop so can i return to it through recovery without any problem or there is other method should i do to downgrade.

my backup damaged so if i need to downgrade just flash kitkat version through odin and it fine or need extra step.

No extra steps...just flash the right firmware thru odin and you good to go...cheers:fingers-crossed:
i recently update my note 3 to lollipop 5.0 N9005DXUGBOA3 .
MY question is is there any risk of rooting this device and anything to backup first before run root process because i heard that there is csv @ imei no to backup or i might make some mistake.
really need some help in this and is there any best custom recovery for note 3 ?

Maybe read some first?
Backup your data to sd or pc. Photos, contacts etc..
You will lose warranty.
Twrp is a good recovery
Flash supersu with twrp to gain root access. Or flash with odin.

thanks alot but one more question i have heard about csv @ PIT things..what was that?
how i gonna backup it ?
because i heard if the root fail, i might lost my imei number.

Hello, do i need to backup my EFS folder with Motorola before starting modding? If yes, how to do that?
My last phone was a Samsung Galaxy S3, i don't know how it works with Moto X Style.

from what i know backup can be made only with custom recovery TWRP, here under backup there is the option to save EFS

yeah really strange...
this is my first non samsung phone, moto x style is different from sammy is more similar to a nexus device, no AP,CP,CSC but only different rom for differet region.
EFS partition contain imei and other important data for phone to work so i think is best to take care

Yeah, always take care of EFS partition, it's very important
Tomorrow i'm gonna unlock bootloader, install twrp, make efs backup with recovery and then root the phone
I just looked in TWRP and did not see the option to backup EFS.

under backup menu you can select which partition you want to save (data,cache,system,efs)
I erased my SM-G955u efs using Combination firmware.
Now my Question is if I restore any other SM-G955U efs backup in my device.its working or not?
And if it's working then I get new imei or old one?
Please help!

Try flashing lates availlable firmware for your Model and country.
