No need to backup efs if you want to stay on stock.
And no, you must be rooted to backup efs partition
Device: Samsung Galaxy S4 (SGH-I337M)
Android:5.0.1
Rooted
cwm custom recovery touch version.
When I do a Nandroid backup it seems to do successfully but I see errors in the log file.
And when I restore using the same backup after it finishes restore process, all the services stop working (example: google.app ....)
I attach screenshots and log file for backup process.
Please explain why this is happening and how to fix it.
Thanks
Sam

As lennyz & Reaper suggested I switched to twrp, both backup and restore are working smoothly.
Thanks for help.
CWM isn't updated anymore. So you should either swith to TWRP or Philz (thought Philz isn't updated anymore either but it still works).
Maybe that could fix it. Also make sure you have plenty of space left when you make a nandroid. Something like 5gb when you are on TW rom.
Use PhilZ, as it is based on CMW, so it should work with your backups. If you don't care about the backups anymore then go with TWRP. Haven't had any problems with TWRP so far.
How to Backup / Restore EFS for Galaxy Grand Prime ????
PLEASE HELLLLLP
If you phone is rooted, With phillz touch recovery you can backup modem and efs. And off course restore that backup.

Is there any way 2 do that before rooting ??
Hi Guys,
I recently rooted+flashed CM12.1 on my D802. Prior to that I made a nandroid as well as a TB Backup. Now I want to restore my LG Quickmemo app, including of course the notes I made with it to the CM I'm running now. Unfortunately, TB apparently didn't backup the QuickMemo app, but I guess my Nandroid should have covered it.
Is there a way to restore this app from the Stock- Nandroid to CM? I already tried Titanium Backup, but I was not able to find the corresponding backup file, since I don't even know what name TWRP assigned to the corresponding app in the backup. It isn't QuickMemo or anything similar, though.
So, is there a way to restore said app from my nandroid without having to restore my Nandroid of the stock rom. I tried that but I got a secure boot error, I don't exactly know why but I guess that it has something to do with the image being of a stock rom and not a custom one.
Help would be much appreciated,
greetz

/edit: I found the app in my nandroid and restore it, but unfortunately it doesn't run. The name of the app is com.lge.app.richnote

If your phone is rooted then you should have twrp installed
and if you have twrp installed it has an options of what it
can backup when you select "backup" or "restore" and
there you will see an option to only backup efs or backup
other things in the phone like system, data, cache & dalvik.
Select EFS and nothing else if that's all you want to backup.
Good luck, have a great day!
Thanks alot dear.. I already did that in twrp. Is that the only thing which I need related to efs ? Is twrp efs backup is reliable ?
Yep.
But move a copy of the backup to your pc just in case you have any future problems.
