Hi everyone,
We've heard your feedback on making the install process of the MantaMod graphics interceptor driver easy and seamless: We've just released the MantaMod Installer app on Google Play, enabling a one-button install and uninstall of the MantaMod driver.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mantamod.app
Give it a run and drop us a note if you have any queries / thoughts!
Our earlier posts describe the current MantaMod features in more detail, and you can check out some new screenshots at www.facebook.com/mantamod
Features of the current release include enabling the following on unmodified game APKs:
- Play games in Stereoscopic 3D on your 3D TV
- Enable a Free-Camera view perspective independent of the player view
- Mod Textures, create skin-packs for your game
Cheers

Hi there!
I've started this project to make an application to track myself when i'm out walking with my lovely touch pro.
Now i would like to make it open source and free for all trekking amateurs, and i'm posting this here to get some advice and to see if someone is interested.
I would like to make a simple and beautiful application, that doesen't drain the battery and that allow to record and repeat trails, store waypoints, integrate some mappings and exchange data with google earth or others apps. It might include some geocaching features and online sharing stuffs as well...
The project is hosted on http://code.google.com/p/trailcompanion/
and i've set up a development blog here: trailcompanion.wordpress.com
I'm not releasing any cabs soon, just some source code to start and see what we can get...
however, if someone would like to be involved just show up here!
*Edit 2009-08-30:
I've posted some updates and sample screenshots on the devel blog:
http://trailcompanion.wordpress.com/2009/08/30/post-holydays-update/
You could take a look at TrackME.
They also have a web interface.
It's all good, except for the sql requirement.
For my part, for small data, I prefer flat files.

Hi and welcome, finally after 2 years of reading xda-developers, I wrote my first post
I'd like to share with you a simple game, that I've written recently.
About game
ActionDude is a clone of Action Potato, rules are very simple - jump and pick beers, but be aware of violet bottles.
Background
Game is written in C# and uses OpenGLES wrapper from "My Brain Hurts" blog, which was mentioned many times.
Goal of this project was to find out how well OpenGLES in our diamonds handles sprite-based graphic - It turned out that quite well and nice playable games can be developed, but it's getting quite slow with high-resolution textures.
Requirements:
OpenGLES drivers, .NET Compact Framework 2
Comment
It's alpha version, probably I'll not extend it and I'll play with something else. But please - feel free to comment, write what do you like about it and what you don't
Nice feature is that you can put your own graphic of jumping "thing", you just have to replace files d1.png and d2.png with your own.
Installation
Well, I didn't prepare .cab, so you have to unpack zip file attatched to this message and copy files to your device.
Have fun!
If so can you point me in the direction of what the best game there is to develop 3d android games, what dose game loft use?
I can use unity3d but they don't officially support android yet, im more into the 3d side of things, but i have some coding mates.
ps: that head and shoulders add is so annoying covering the text boxes
Get the SDK & Eclipse, then learn to code Java.
Like the previous poster said: Eclipse + Google SDK to start (under Windows 7 here): http://developer.android.com/sdk/index.html
Java to start your application then when you need more speed: e.g. for your 3D engine, you can use the NDK (also provided by Google) to add C/C++ modules.
You can also get a Samsung Tablet Emulator to add to Eclipse here: http://innovator.samsungmobile.com/galaxyTab.do
Thanks. Guy's, ill check it out

I don't think anyone here is using the processing API for development ... nd i case you were actually asking 'how' to develop ... perhaps you could have a look at this and this :fingers-crossed:
Installation Notes - Installing the Android SDK and trouble shooting problems
Running a Sketch in the Emulator
Running a Sketch on an Android Device
Your First Game - MACUL 2012 Workshop
General Introduction to Processing - Covers a bunch of the basics
Exporting your Apps - Still a work in progress. Hopefully the next version of Processing will make this easy.
Hi everyone,
we started a project to improve speech recognition and make it finally work.
We are proud to announce that we have some sound recognition prototypes ready and working.
The results were outstanding, so we decided make it into an SDK for mobile game developers to use.
We will soon launch a KickStarter project to make the first versions of our SDK available to our backers.
Please check out our site at justsay-ah.com
We would love to hear any ideas or suggestions from you, so please comment below!
We need to create tutorials for our SDK on how to use our SDK in a game engine, so tell us in the comments what is your favourite game engine?
