[Q] Please need help for my SM-N900W8

Hello,
I need help to root my note 3 SM-N900W8 (Canadian version)
I'm on Version 4.4.2 kitkat
I already did a lot of tutorial but it does not work
me is the last thing to do but it is mentioned that I have to use a CF-Auto-Root dedicated to SM-N9005 and on another forum it is mentioned that if I install another ROM is not dedicated to SM -N900W8 I risk brick my note 3
so I am new in the area and I'm really confusion is that someone could help me? it would be very cool

First download this file. I know you said you downloaded a file already but there are 2 files of the same name and one is for 4.3 and can soft brick your phone if used on a 4.4.2, so just making sure you have the right one.
Extract the downloaded file and run odin. Click PDA button and navigate to the cf auto root tar file you just extracted. Put phone in download mode and connect to usb on pc then click the start button. Should take about few seconds to complete then phone will restart itself to root it then restarts again to system.

I cant flash anything, im trying to boot from my sdcard because sbl1 is corrupted.

UPDATE 8/5/15: added SM-T805K version.
This is a port of CF-AUTROOT for the new Korean Tab S 10.5 with Exynos 5433 CPU.
This will trip the Knox counter.

Since the T805S has root, couldn't someone dump the system.img, boot.img and all that? I dumped my system.img back in the day and forgot the commands to do so

Well should be able to, but for what reason? We already have the firmware? ADB can be used with the DD command to dump images.

I just got a notification from Samsung Members app and then I checked for software update in the Settings and found that there is an available update G930FXXU1ZPKK.
The update also includes November security patches.

Writers on sammobile made a mistake and wrote this as third update

"Background color change" in quick menu...where is??

There are no updates OTA when I check manually via the software update on the phone. Galaxy S7 International Unlocked here on the first Nougat Beta
Also, what's the build number for the 3rd beta?

Hey ho my dear nougat s7 flat users.
You know I got a s7 flat as well but did not register to the beta, hence no updates. So I would be very glade if someone could run this 4 commands in terminal (rooted) or in TWRP terminal. This will give me s7 BL and CP to finish my superstock beta rom update.
After you typed those commands, just upload all files, they are inside internal storage. I only need the files from latest ZPKK update (beta 3). Not previous ones!

Hi @Creative18, could you post that file on some location I can access it G930PVPS5BRA1?
I was trying to root my phone and broke my system. I have tried with older firmwares but didn't work. I think I need to try with an updated firmware like this: G930PVPS5BRA1.
I will really appreciate your help.

If anyone does manage to root the RA1 version, please contact me. I need a rooted version of this phone with RA1 to extract the bootloader and revive a bricked version of this bad boy. You would be doing a great service to other owners of this phone with the same problem as me..

There already is a rooted U version thread. If you have issues with a phone just download the firmware and flash it in Odin.

Yeah. But they said they needed a bootloader extracted from a device? Idk what that would help them with. Besides you can extract specific partitions from the firmware file.

I also searched weeks and i have it . a simple fast root for our sm930P Sprint and other versions S7 on a locked bootloader . i have done two S7s one on ra1 and the other on BD2 a 5 and 6 . it rooted the first time on both and the speps are simple . no bootlooping apps to install no confusion .simple install.. it runs very very fast and i see no difference from a stock nugget phone other than samsung pay and a few samsung apps dont like root. it even has an over cloke if you want. Flash at your own risk but now i have my titanium backup and other root apps running flawless . on TING . simple two steps involved and no bootloops . i used the system root option and did not wipe data and used the leave safestrap on it or no safestrap installed option . the rest is EASY PEASY https://www.androidsage.com/2017/03...gat-firmware-usa-att-t-mobile-verizon-sprint/
