Doubt there will be. 4.4 presents too many problems I think and there are literally hundreds of roms for this phone.

Mytouch 4g was died ?

Was dead long time ago since HTC stopped upgrading it to ics. However all the devs here are helping to extend the life of this device. But right now seems everyone moves on to new devices, you can either buy a new phone or stay on one of the ics roms using 2.6 kernels. And I don't see any upcoming new roms or new updates to the existing roms in the future. Sorry dude. It's 2014.

Where, wich one

Don't throw it away at least not yet. I saw your thread and prepared a ROM. It may not be perfect but at least it can kick start the forum for some following cm roms. My team is scheduling another ROM. It will be a KK performance centered ROM. Have a nice day guys.

Ok so I don't actually own the my touch, my girlfriend has it, her first one we got maybe back in may? But anyways, it was a piece of ****, all stock of course, she doesn't want me hacking her phone lol. I figured maybe it was just her phone and called tmobile and eventually ended up getting a replacement.. well turns out this is just as big of a piece of ****, hardware wise the phone should run very nicely, would rooting and installing a custom fix most of her issues (which are too long to list atm) and if so, what is the recommended rom? I do know she would like to stay with a GB rom, any advice would be appreciated.

If she doesn't want a big change, but wants her phone to run smooth without all the sense crap my advice would be to root it and flash the insert coin glacier. Its very stable and doesn't have all the sense crap

Well, if she does have an HTC myTouch 4G, there are several choices.
One is a the stock rooted ROM w/ any one of several custom kernels.
Another is Android Revolution HD. There are two versions in the dev section, both of which are in the same thread and are great.
Energy ROM is also good, but she may not care for the look.
Also, there is InsertCoin v1.7.1. I'm running that one now and really like it.
Edit: Bas3balman and I are shamelessly promoting the port our team released. Haha.

Hey skinZy,
I've been monitoring this thread, but know next to nothing about i9000 ROMs.
However, I figured I'd finally post to let you know that there are still some Vibrant users out here who get excited about the prospect of new ROMs.
Popped over in i9000 development, but couldn't tell what's hot besides the usual heavyweights.
XenonHD recently went official tho:

I know nothing about it other than what can be read in the thread.

Paranoid Android is coming to the HTC One!!!

Hey guys!
According to https://plus.google.com/107979589566958860409/posts/8P9mVptPMF7 PA is coming to our HTC Ones!
I used this rom on my Nexus 4 and I loved it! As I switched to the One due to the lack of LTE on the N4,
I started missing those cool features such as the custom dpi, the pie and most of all Halo! I know there is
P.A.Cman rom, but Halo is not implemented yet..
You guys should definitivly give it a try when it's released. It's simply amazing!
i think there is already a test build in the tmo general section

Ok....NOW I might unlock my phone
Despise and have no use for Halo personally, but I loved PA on my N4. PIE was the best thing ever, only thing that made my N4 tolerable.
That said I don't see myself wanting to use pie now that I have a phone that has buttons again, though I most certainly will give it a whirl.

Same here. It's difficult to get excited about AOSP when Sense (with Xposed dpi mods) is nowadays so damn good.

I do love Sense 5 but tbh, I never use the features that it offers over AOSP and I always find that AOSP has WAY more productive features on the custom ROM side then Sense ever will, obviously its opinionated and as I said Sense 5 is awesome! But I prefer AOSP ROM's just due to simple things like Halo or even just the stock messaging app and stuff.

I like Sense 5, but the one thing that stops me from using it is that it doesn't support landscape on the desktop. Super aggrivating. The apps that will allow you to force landscape aren't good at all for Sense either.

[Q] Working Android 4.4 ROMs

Hey guys, so I was just wondering if there's any working Cyanogenmod 11 based ROMs that are fully functioning and stable for the most part on the Glacier. I've checked the development thread and none of the 4.4 ROMs are any good and Albinoman doesn't even respond to my messages about him porting CM 11 to the phone. Thanks for any suggestions.

There are a few 4.4s and one CM11 I'm aware of at this point (LegacyCarbon, Evervolv, and keifus.rahn's CM 11), but they are early previews - not stable. If you want fully functioning & stable daily driver you may have to go back to ICS. Otherwise there will be a few bugs. That's just how it is. If you want the bleeding edge, you have to either live with bugs or be part of the development and help the developers fix some of the issues.
Hopefully Albinoman887 does decide to port CM 11 to glacier eventually, his CM10.2 is pretty solid if you haven't tried it. But I would really avoid nagging him, otherwise he may want to just avoid the Glacier community.
