Alright, I've been scouring the net for a solution and tried various things here but I am at my wits end. My laptop (Dell XPS 15 9530) will not connect with my Galaxy Note 10.1. Now get this, before I rooted my tablet, connecting the two behaved as expected. After rooting, all that happens is the disconnect sound from Windows 8.1 playing repeatedly.
I've noticed a similar issue with my Galaxy Note II, also rooted. I managed to find a workaround for that, it's not stable though and it doesn't seem to work with my tablet.

Please tell me that I'm not the only one with this issue and more importantly, how to fix it. I'm quite limited if I can't connect these two devices.
Well, I feel pretty silly. The issue was the cable. It's just surprising because I tried 3 different cables prior. Just decided to try one more that I had laying around for sh$ts and giggles, and voila, all issues gone. I've spent the better part of the last week on this...
LOL
This almost happens to every samsung`s user. It happened to me a lot of time.

Recently bought this tablet and sometimes webpages seem to hang when loading. In Twitch I can use source quality with no problem but every now and then it just freezes and continues playing, same for medium and up. (buffering?). I don't have this problem on my pc or on my phone. What I did to my tablet: updated to latest firmware which is lollipop, and rooted it. That's it.
My question is if this problem is common? I don't think it's my WiFi causing it.
Even if you don't know, could you verify using Twitch and see if you have the same problem as described, it will help me out and I will probably do a factory reset if this only occurs with me.
Thanks in advance guys!
you will have to go to the other forums... this is too advanced for us
Pretty sure this is the general and Q&A forum, and even so, asking if the WiFi is a common problem is too advanced? Lol wut
I've had this issue for months now and I've started countless threads in countless forums attempting to solve it:
my S4 (GT-I9505 jflte) is basically running in "slow motion". What I mean by that is that no matter what I do, about 50% of the time all animations will play back at about half the speed they normally would and any kind of input will be registered with a delay of about half a second. Animations still look smooth at about 60fps and the phone doesn't crash, it's just... slow. Really slow.
I used to think this had to be an issue with Cyanogenmod (was running the Optimized CM12.1 rom from AntaresOne & Alucard), but after trying several different builds and clean flashing countless times, nothing changed. Now I just flashed an entirely different ROM (Resurrection Remix) and although it ran buttery-smooth for the first hour or so, after restoring all my apps it has now started doing the same thing.
The fact that the problem persists even with a completely different ROM leads me to believe it must be something to do with the apps I have installed. But how do I troubleshoot this? I have way too much stuff on my phone to go through deinstalling every single app and making sure it wasn't causing the problem.
I have no idea how to approach this problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
EDIT:
I'm not sure if this has been happening before with CM12 or if it just started happening now with Resurrection Remix, but I just noticed that it seems to happen mostly when the device is charging. When I unplug it, 9 times out of 10 the slowness will instantly go away... is that an indication of anything?
EDIT 2
I think I just solved the issue. After discovering that the problem appeared to be caused by the charging, I tried a different charger. My original Samsung charger started having horrible coil whine a few months ago, so I threw it out and started using a generic one I had laying around. Come to think of it now, that must have been when the problem started.
I just found another charger for a Samsung phone and plugged my phone in: everything fine. Switched back to the generic charger: everything slow. So it must have been the charger. Just out of curiosity, is this a known issue? Could some kind of electrical noise from the charger be interfering with the touch screen? Seems almost bizarre that a simple charger would cause a phone to run slow...
Firstly, hopefully I receive a fix because this is annoying.
My issue is my edge plus reboots whenever I use Google Chrome its constant no change, if I open the app my phone reboots point blank. Also, at the same time this started my microphone died for no reason. I haven't done anything crazy software wise that I haven't had previously installed from week 1 of having this phone. There has not been any drops or any physical factors that could of triggered this. I have tried all the possible standard fixes cache, wipe, full wipe. My last try is unroot and go stock which means I can't use the phone so that try is pointless for me(928T unlocked for AT&T) no root = no unlock = expensive paperweight.
My phone is the T (tmobie variant) I rooted and unlocked it after buying it practically brand new second hand. This has ran with no issues for about 5 months until a few few days ago. Both of these issues occurred almost simultaneously but I can't see how they can be connected.
Venting .... Every android (Samsung) I have owned I have had to do surgery on. Note 2, Note 3, Note 4 all required new USB charging port replacement after a yr. Now this Edge Plus has issues and the build quality is nice but not inspiring for the novice phone surgeon I think I am. I hate to say it but if I can't find a fix I will have no choice but to convert to Apple.
Hello everyone,
I have a problem with 2 Android smartphone, both with Android 6.0.1. One is an Alcatel Idol 4s and the other one a Samsung Galaxy s7.
I read on the internet and many forums that several people are having the same problem as me. I think it's linked with Android 6.0.1 but not sure.
My problem is, the bluetooth randomly shut down on the smartphone and launch again, resulting in disconnecting the handset connected to it (and so stopping the music). This problem occurs quite often, sometime after 1 hour, sometime every 3 mins.
I would like to know if anyone else has that kind of problem, and if any fix i known for now cause actually nothing i tried worked...
Thanks for your help!
I just go a new Nexus 6P. I am having Bluetooth issues. My Coda button which worked fine on my Note 3, 5 and 7 will not work unless it is the only bt device connected. Also any BT device connected suffers occasional dropouts even when only 2 to 3 feet from the phone.
I thought maybe it could be WEDA rom so I spent all night unrooting, wiping and doing a complete reset to stock. I did allow it to update to 7.0 nougat after first boot.
Anyone else experience BT issues? Any fixes available? Would I have been better off staying on MM 6.1?
Thank You very much for any advice you could offer. If I can't get this fixed this weekend I will need to return it to BB.
